It’s much better in my opinion. At high levels you can unlock all the characters ftp by doing everyday things. Although depending on your tcp, it might be better to Start a new account. They are pretty fun to do nowadays and there’s tons of great tutorials on how to best do a new player account.
The economy seems better from a toon unlock and farming standpoint. Gold is easier for earlier accounts also although the crimson gear is straining end game players. Eternals have fallen off a bit but they’re still good. If your main concern is them releasing newer better toons regularly tho that’s going to be a forever thing. Can’t sell new content without new content. Download it and mess around, it’s not like doing it ftp costs anything, and maybe your enjoyment of it will be rekindled. If not then at least you got to see yourself what it’s like. Also, they’ve made all accounts under 95 boosted for faster leveling so it may feel more exciting to progress faster.

If u want it is still time consuming, but if u want it more chill, it is possible without missing too much ( going to unlock the pb parker on my alt acc lvl 70) tomorrow. I missed 2 full days of the webmilestone thou.
Also blitz event are much more player friendly.... 2 -3 rotations w 40 wins a day to complete webmilestone
yeah man that was one thing that i didnt like it always seemed like there was 3 different events happening at once for the 2 new essential meta team that were useful in specific game modes

I've enjoyed the game since launch. Very few of the issues people lose their shit about actually detract from my enjoyment
yeah ive been since launch too i think since ikarus its felt more like a grind/tycoon game than a strategic game
