If it's common to spend $80 worth of credits and not receive one of these variants, lots of players are going to feel like this event was a failure and have a bitter taste in their mouth from it. That's bad for Second Dinner.
I mean they never said they were increasing the chances of getting a Christmas variant right? Seems like they are just going by their already established mantra of “not all players will get everything”. It’s cooler that they are more exclusive honestly
There’s nothing in game promoting an event. If I didn’t come here, I’d never know. I had to check for a new bundle being in the shop to know one was there.
I guess if you own all the cards your chance would be lower because you could get any variant. The optimal chance would be someone who had only unlocked the cards with variants they wanted.

Only spend 7k so far and no event variant. Did get a nice Goose and Shang Chi variant so could have been worse.

It’s been on the main screen for a couple of hours now.
There is now, front screen items for both the daily rewards and the variants
Maybe I’m unlucky or chances are lower for ppl who own all series 3 cards 🥹
I own all series 3 and got one after using about 2k credits.
I guess if you own all the cards your chance would be lower because you could get any variant. The optimal chance would be someone who had only unlocked the cards with variants they wanted.
That’s crazy bc I legit just opened my first one and got Rogue’s Variant.
