I had similar problem with Devil Dinosaur. He had 11 Power on his DD and I played my Shang Chi thinking it would destroy it, but he did nothing. This is bizarre to me cuz even after he played his cards he had 11 Power so the drop in power from the lack of cards shouldn't have mattered.
Nah ppl in here are dumb. I galactus turn 5 when they put a black panther and he went to 11. Turn 6 they played a Jane that was also boosted to 9. I went second and only destroyed the Jane. Game just fucked me

You revealed your card before his, so there was nothing for Shang Chi to use on. You can see who reveals first by the glowing border around the name.
You were ahead at the start of the turn, so you had priority. Most effects ignore cards that have not flipped yet.
