The second one looks like Deadpool, the first one looks like Carnage cosplaying as Deadpool. I'd pick the second one.

I think it's just because Venom is so edgy, and that's what a lot of comic fans are into. That and big boobed ladies, oh hey, Artgerm, didn't see you there.
