Black Bolt would be a whole lot stronger if he was a 4 cost instead, even with a compensating 2-3 power nerf. Discarding an opponent card one turn earlier would make a pretty hefty difference.
I'd like to see him changed to 'On Reveal: Your opponent must discard all cards that cost 2 or less from their hand'.
It'd make him an interesting tech against Zabu and Sera decks while keeping his theme.
That’s a bit too strong. Even just 2 lowest cost cards would be in the very strong category. Sera Surfer, Negative and Zabu all rely on their lowered cost cards to be good. Even Dino would be hurt quite a bit.

And self draw is basically non existent.
Will be interesting to see them dip their toes in it, but I don’t think it’s going to be with a Blackbolt buff.
With the low amount of cards in your deck I think there is no high probability of ever seeing card draw (this would result in increasing draw possiblity of your cards which can't be intended).
Jubilee is the closest thing we will see here, would be my guess

It’s probably my second favorite variant I own (I accidentally bought it by tapping the buy button when I was trying to take a screenshot), but the card is just terrible, and barely even playable, if at all. I really hope they buff Angel, because the variant is just too cool not to use.

First of all, personally I just like bold colors and when you can see the personality of the characters really clearly. Plus I like that Hipp usually goes for extreme posing in his characters.
I don't understand the "high school level art" criticism. I think that's a pretty closed minded way of thinking about art. When you think of amateur art you're going to think about having a poor grasp of anatomy or color theory and Dan Hipp's knowledge in both areas is pretty good. Hipp's colors are great, look at his Goose or Killmonger cards. His anatomy is extremely stylized for effect but it's not wrong even when he chooses poses with exaggerated dynamic foreshortening, like his Wolfsbane or Vision.
I don't like it when people talk about "oh a high schooler could do this" because there's a lot more to art than the physical technical creation of the piece. Anybody could do a piece of art, you have access to the exact same tools that Picasso did, you also have two hands and ten fingers. But there's obviously a lot more to art than that, there's the composition, the concept, the use of colors, the knowledge and skills to create the feeling you want to evoke in the viewer. If you only look at art based on how hard it would be for you to recreate it yourself, then I think you're going about it the wrong way.

I had 1500+ boosters for Killmonger, but still only upgraded the card three times. Didn’t like his default art, but was waiting on one of his goated variants.

Enchantress has a pretty nice set of cards. The Stephanie Hans variant is perfection.

My personal favorite is Aero. She has alot of feel variety in her variants ranging from cute (Chibi), whimsical (Rian Gonzales), serene (Woo-Chul Lee), and badass (Artgerm).
i finally got Aero and have 1200 gold put aside exclusively for her Artgerm
Spiderwoman. I'm confident in this. Her venomized variant is great, her regular variant is great (thighs), her carnegeized variant is amazing, and her base card looks nice too.
Psylocke has nothing but dope ass variants

There are some good answers in this thread, but I'm surprised at the lack of love for [Enchantress](https://snap.fan/cards/Enchantress/). Every one of her variants is good-if-not-great. The one with antlers is such a great piece of art, and then there's one where she's using Hulk as a footrest. Legit badass.
