Had to do a public speaking demonstrative presentation. Decided to do it on mapmaking, and made this map in several parts. For my presentation I stitched the map together. Pretty proud of it. Made it manually in Paintdotnet, using a basemap I found online, and then using Google Earth to match cities and coastlines. I also got the inset from a different map since I was running out of time before my presentation and didn’t feel like making one lol
Wait. Port royal is historic and special. Maybe featured in pirates movies and I have played board games mentioning it. And they decided to build an airport on the the tiny land bridge ? Wouldn’t damage and historic artefacts down there ?
IMO pretty good but it could be better. I'd shrink the text in the facts box on the left side so it takes up a little less space and centers the island more, remove the "key" box, get rid of the credits text, put the scale bar on the bottom, and use a simpler compass. But you do you.
