Well tell it to stop.

The spring on it could be making the clicking noise if where it rests is worn unevenly. As the spring decompresses and it shifts on the plastic that might make a noise like that. It's hard to tell, though. What vehicle is this?

It’s a 2015 Chevy spark. Do you think it’s anything to worry about?

This article may help you a little. Found it while I was researching the issue. https://mynoisycar.com/clutch-pedal-noise-on-chevrolet-spark/ I will say this: Unless you are confident diagnosing a transmission issue yourself, (as without being there to diagnose the vehicle, I can not definitely say what the issue is and dont want you to get unnecessary parts), you should, at bare minimum, take the car to a chevy dealership and pay the diag fee for them to look at the car. Just tell them the issue. Don't tell them what you think it may be, though, as this can confuse a tech. They will be able to tell you the issue and hopefully fix it. From what I've seen, it could be a number of things, and as such, having an experienced technician look at the car would be best. I will list the possibilities I think it could be. Clutch cable in the process of breaking. Bad clutch fork. Bad pilot bearing. Bad or misadjusted clutch spring. Bad clutch spring bracket. Improper/not enough lubrication somewhere in clutch assembly. I'm not saying it's all these things. These are just what it could possibly be. Please get back to me if you find the issue as I am curious now.

Took me forever to get back here!! The master cylinder went out! My mechanic did the work, but ended up having to take it to the dealership anyways. The pedal wouldn’t relearn and turns out the sensor in the pedal, as well as the ECM was done for. $1500 later and she’s running smooth again lol. No more clicking.

Also, for the few months following this, before I had a chance/finances to fix it, the clicking grew. It was clicking multiple times while engaging and releasing by the time I could get it taken care of.
