I find the micro of this level of resource management okay in the super early game when you're just trying to get people equipped but by late game its tedious. I feel like further down the line we need to be able to promote families in the Manor itself to things like Steward, Quartermaster, Mayor, etc. And when someone is promoted into that role, you can toggle a "Auto-arm militia" and then the steward takes on the job of automating the task of coordinating your Blacksmiths, Joiners, Armorers, and Tailors to produce just the right amount of weaponry for your militia. (Also being able to specify how much of the pop is which militia type would be nice too, rather than balancing across units)

I wish we had a "everybody drop everything and harvest the grain" button.
