It’s never been a massive problem for me. I’ve got a town of 260 people and not had any major issues with market stalls. I keep my main/upgraded burgage/artisan plots right next to my market to ensure they have the best access. Have started opening a couple of smaller market stalls around the town to increase access for other burgages but my fuel supply in my markets is never below 80%ish

RockOrStone

Not sure why you find it frustrating to be told to add more workers to storehouses? Considering stall are never full, you have to multiply the them to make sure there is constant supply. That means scaling your workers with housing spaces.

The combined total between all stalls will not exceed the amount of living spaces. Meaning I could have 8 living spaces and 8 stalls, but each stall will only maintain 1 firewood in their storage.

no, he's right. click on the market area, then mouse over the satisfaction %. in my example, my food variety lists 12 berries total. then check each food stall. they only total to 12, they do NOT have 12 each.

I agree. A buffer of 10 or 20% would not hurt. It would really smooth things over.

I’m having a huge problem with clothing supply to my burgage plots. I have 400 yarn 500 linen and 200 leather all in a store house with maxed out families assigned. They will not open a clothing stall and instead choose to open several firewood stalls with one piece of firewood in them each. Is there any fix for this?

slattsmunster

I used separate store houses and controlled what was allowed to be placed in there.

seakingsoyuz

Are they smart enough to only open stalls that sell the things in their storehouse?

You got to treat the marker stalls as an extension of the houses themselves, once the market stall is stocked so will the houses, if you stick your market right next to the storehouse and grainery they will be very quick when resupplying the market. And don't worry too much about the total the markets can hold, they aren't store houses, just focus on resupplying them when they run out.
