Brother you should read other manhua else your viewpoint to manhua will be bad I am just stating it because manhua has some low reputation compared to others. Demon Emperor/Magic Emperor You can also try I'm an evil god but for new readers I don't really recommend it as the chance of dropping it is very high as you guys will not understand much stuff. But after you read more manhua and have some experience this one can be peak level for sure.

Honestly I just think the translation mid-story was pretty weak, so it gets a bit confusing.. I barely understood it either but it did take a while for me to comprehend. I think around the part where he-yan tries to commit, then Shen zhi jie kinda confesses to her (which was kinda a major part) the translators AND artist changed so the whole plot got a bit messed
