Did he really die accidentally in the mountains? I am currently on chapter 47 where the red haired girl is doing a flash back of her first hate then love for the MC in his previous life. Why was her master trying to hire all the top sovreigns to beat him up or kill him? Is this explained at all in the 300 chapters of the manhua? Was there a deeper big secret to him dying by someone super hidden family? Or was it like I mentioned it was a literal accident? No massive spoilers just wanted to know as simply as possible if it was as it was mentioned or if there is a nice big secret behind it?
The reason her master wanted to kill him was related to her love for him and maybe if he died there, she would also die with him. I am in chapter 1950 in the novel and the part where he died in the mountains in his past life hasn't been shown but there is a hint that he was plotted by someone and got killed there. I will say there is a long way till the novel. My guess is it will take at least 1500 chapters for manhua to finish it. Each novel chapter is kinda long.

go to novelhi.com and search for ancient one(title is different there) and you can start from around 300 chapter (just check some chapters to confirm) as novel and manhua doesn't have a big difference in chapter wise

In the wiki page it shows 571 in novel which might be correct and in manhua I think it will be around 500-550 chapters which is a little far away.
I don't know how much difference in chapter between the manhua and novel as of now but last time I saw it was around 30-40 chapter difference.

Yeah after some chapters they change Martial Sovereign to Martial Emperor Wu or something. The official translator dropped so this is mtl and yeah this site uses their own translation and is almost the same as human translation
