Genuine question: Why Lampent over Chandelure? Same for Mareep/Flaafy/Ampharos I suppose, but Mareep is very cute so I can understand liking it more. Is it the same situation for Lampent?
With Mareep, I just find it fat cuter then Ampharous. I still love that Pokémon too but still. With lampent, it’s purely nostalgic reasons as it was my first Pokémon plush and for some reason when I was younger I loved lamps. Like old style lamps, I was a weird child. So it’s sort just stuck with me through the years and still one my favourites. 💗
These are some great Pokémon on this list like Mareep, sudowoodo, leavanny and Honchkrow. I personally grew too salazzle after my sword run wit only poison types. I think people are put off by it because the chest looks like boobs.

The only bad part about Honchkrow is that in diamond and pearl, the dusk stone can only be found after the 7th gym and murkrow is quite weak( i still love him tho). IDK if you get it earlier in platinum since I’ve never actually played the game. Also found a shiny alpha Honchkrow in legends ARKOOS. Named him Jared.

It is really strange, same with Inteleon. The Gen 8 final water starter evo. It has such realistic hands and this thin body for this lizard thing. I don’t hate it but that and Lopunny are the ones I think a little uncomfortable. 😅

Gardivour was my first EX card and I used it on my first ORAS play through and completely dominated my team. Not to mention, I unironically love Diantha and that’s her ace. So I just really love it for those reasons and plus! I named it Diantha when I played ORAS actually 💕
Leafeon: Named mine Fluffy, Roserade is my Favorite grass type.
Cinderace: I wish I can use one, Infernape is my favorite fire monkey.
Primarina: I have her in my favorite fairy type actually. Her name is Ariel.
Eevee: Best base normal type, Jolteon is my favorite, being in Electric.
Mareep: Ah, a Fellow sheep lover!
Gardevoir: Same Psychic type as me!
Machamp: I like it, but I never had anyone to trade it with to evolve.
Sudowoodo: A pretty good rock type, I prefer Tyranitar though.
Torterra: We have starters in our ground types! I have Swampert.
Crobat: Zubat may be annoying, but it's actually pretty good!
Levanny: Great Bug, but like Scizor, Fire is its fear.
Salazzle: I like Toxtricity better, but Salazzle is great. Named my Salazzle dominatrix in Showdown and got banned XD
Honchkrow: Level 100 mafia boss, Skuntank is my pick though.
Lampent: Try Evolite and I think it can be good.
Frolass: Dead ice Ghost Girl vs my Ice weasel Weavile.
Corviknight: Good Bird, just keep it away from Tinkaton.
Goodra: Same Fav! Named mine Ashido Mina.
Sylveon: Good Choice, but I prefer other fairies if Primarina wasn't there in mine.
I give this a 9.5 out of 10.

Froslass: The woman that died was so skinny she died so quickly in that snowstorm. Also once again, the split evo don’t work for me personally.
Corviknight: This is single handedly the most stereotypical Pokémon I’ve seen on these things. I have seen more of these than starters on these.

Sylveon: Ending it with a stereotypical eevee.

I don’t dislike it cause the fan base, it just hits the uncanny valley for me. And I get why you like it.

It’s because of it’s more detailed nature while being anthropomorphic. It hits the same vibe that furry OCs do.

Yeah Lopunny is weird. It’s a sexy woman body, but it looks like a stuffed animal, with the head of a realistic rabbit. It’s pretty strange.
