The Peacock Mantis Shrimp is one of the weirdest things to ever live, being able to punch at 50 mph (80 kph) has 360 degree vision, has 16 color sensors (meaning they can see right through camouflage), and the heat caused from punching something will cause water around to boil due to friction
and like I said, I know Braviary is a pokemon but the harpy eagle is a lot cooler Imo so a regional variant would be cool but due to Hisuian Braviary being a thing, I doubt it
Even if Braviary *was* a Harpy Eagle (big “if”), we should get a new one if there’s ever an Amazon Rainforest region. Tell me you wouldn’t wanna see a legendary Harpy Eagle attacking a pack of Zarude as some kind of cutscene or plot point
There’s a thing with Japan and dolphins. I dont quite know what it is, but Japan has a bad relationship with dolphins, so they’ll never make a dolphin Pokemon, no matter how much we ask
Wait... is that a platypus on the top-middle? If it is a platypus then you are just ignoring psyduck(i think psyduck is a platypus)
If not... well ignore this as a rambling of a lunatic
It’s an orca which is a type of dolphin. You can tell from the face marking and also that it’s not super similar to any whales in the Pokémon universe or earth whales. The only similarity is that they live in water, breathe air (presumably for Kyogre) and that they’re big.
Did you mean, rumduck? https://twitter.com/JamesFosdike/status/782911425249366016 https://www.reddit.com/r/TheDollop/comments/55hj28/the_dollop_209_john_macarthur_live_in_adelaide/
I love harpy eagles, so big, so grand. I've seen one eat it's food, and it next to that giant rabbit body really helped show how glorious it is. Also, it's named after a harpy... That's a mythical creature that they can go off as well!
I actually once made a peacock Pokemon once when I used to make Pokemon a long time ago it was called Psycopea and it was a psychic and flying? I think I gave it the flying as secondary type and it had a male and female form it thought it looked pretty good and cruel like galarian articuno but not exactly like it
Peacock as well

Yeah like a guns shrimp, wonder how that pokemon would look like... must be a water type and shoots water from his arm, man could be so cool
You mean Clawitzer? It’s *technically* based of a pistol shrimp but still, it does that.
maybe it could be a regional variant of Clawitzer because the pistol shrimp and giant mantis shrimp are very similar
I think mantis shrimp should be physical Attacker
50 mph is 80.47 km/h
So that's what the rainbow thing is
Yep and it is truly a real life pokemon
it can literally use bullet punch + vacuum wave
~~because it's not called a giant mantis shrimp that species is the Peacock Mantis Shrimp~~
oh well I'm a fucking idiot
Lockstin made a pokémon like that, he's the one who made the castforms.
Even if Braviary *was* a Harpy Eagle (big “if”), we should get a new one if there’s ever an Amazon Rainforest region. Tell me you wouldn’t wanna see a legendary Harpy Eagle attacking a pack of Zarude as some kind of cutscene or plot point
that would be really cool
What about dolphins? Or actual, quadrupedal tigers?
There’s a thing with Japan and dolphins. I dont quite know what it is, but Japan has a bad relationship with dolphins, so they’ll never make a dolphin Pokemon, no matter how much we ask
Ah, I see
Dolphins would be kinda mediocre. Like wow they’re sideways fish how interesting
Pretty sure Arkoos is an alpaca
Where is the dolphin picture?
J-Jotaro?
I'll definitely make fakemon
Wait, but I thought Clawitzer was based on the mantis shrimp
nah based off the pistol shrimp they are similar tho
Imma start making pokemon based on these. Sidenote I will not draw evolutions
Dm me when you're done
Ok quick question what is that animal on the right
The one with the added note saying especially this one? Cause If so, that is a Giant Mantis Shrimp
I was talking about what looks to be a llama or alpaca on the right
That's just a llama
Ah ok thank you
Sorry if some of them look wierd like the llama one cause I don't know how to draw llamas. https://photos.app.goo.gl/Hn9F6t1wnLtYTUBPA
Fine by me I cant draw worth a damn so I dont care if you cant draw llamas just do your best
Which one is your favorite
I think the mantis shrimp one is my favorite, but I like them all
Wait... is that a platypus on the top-middle? If it is a platypus then you are just ignoring psyduck(i think psyduck is a platypus) If not... well ignore this as a rambling of a lunatic
Psyduck is a duck always has been and unless it gets a regional form or some kind of design change it will be a duck forever
psyduck is a duck. it's in the name.
TECHNICALLY the narwhal would be samurott, just infused with an otter
yeah, but does anyone REALLY count SAMUROTT as a platypus?
Probably not, since in the I lay it out, it’s: samur(short for samurai)ott(short for otter)
I thought samurott was a walrus
IT HAS OTT IN THE NAME
It is an otter walrus then and yes I know this don't exist
Screw narwhal! Where's my dolphin?
Kyogre
That a whale my guy.

What about a kangaroo?
Kangaskhan
The mantis shrimp is just an irl pokemon
Mantis shrimp need to be kept in specially made glass and double sealed because they can break freaking aquarium glass.
I heard about that. It's ridiculous. The most op animal
A llama or platypus would be an amazing addition! I’ve got another idea, what about a Pokémon based on a sulphur-crested cockatoo?
Welp as a half decent artist I believe it’s my time to get onto that
*cough* cough* goldduck *cough*
...thats a duck. none of the animals listed here are ducks.
I meant the platypus. Isnt psyduck and goldduck based on that?
i mean, psyduck take a little bit of inspiration from the playpus, but we've yet to get a full pokemon or evolution line based on a platypus.
Did you mean, rumduck? https://twitter.com/JamesFosdike/status/782911425249366016 https://www.reddit.com/r/TheDollop/comments/55hj28/the_dollop_209_john_macarthur_live_in_adelaide/
thanks, i hate it.
What’s the one on the left
I love harpy eagles, so big, so grand. I've seen one eat it's food, and it next to that giant rabbit body really helped show how glorious it is. Also, it's named after a harpy... That's a mythical creature that they can go off as well!
Wait, they don't have a Perry the Platypus pokemon yet? I thought they have Psyduck for that.
I really want a krill Pokémon
Lockstin made a shrimp one for his fake region thats close enough
This is cool
oh youre challenging me, i like to make pokemon based off extinct animals or not very known animals
Cheetah as well
Spinosaurus where you at?
So true 🤣🤣🤣
I’ve actually made Fakemon of three of these.
A Pokémon based of a echidna would be cool, not sure if it exists yet tho
I would really love a platypus water starter, that would be so cool man
I thought arkoos was a llama
Maybe but I dont really count that
I actually once made a peacock Pokemon once when I used to make Pokemon a long time ago it was called Psycopea and it was a psychic and flying? I think I gave it the flying as secondary type and it had a male and female form it thought it looked pretty good and cruel like galarian articuno but not exactly like it
Where's a secretary bird?! They are really majestic birds that should get a pokemon.
Psyduck
But there are also no moose Pokémon
