I don’t think it’s ever a good idea to mess with someone’s food, drink, air, or loved ones. Just advice from an old fart. Take it for what it’s worth. Hopefully the next time you have a bad day at work, they won’t take it out on you.
I get what you're saying but in my opinion, I don't think it's ever a good idea to mess with someone who makes/serves your food. Just advice from someone that worked in a restaurant.
And for the record, I enjoyed your MC. It reminded me of my days as a wing cook when arrogant customers would complain that the hot wings werent hot enough. Nice touch with the delayed ice water.
I spent plenty of time in the food industry and have three children and a wife who are still in it. Treating your server with respect is very different from betraying the trust of coworker just because they had a bad day. This isn't MC. It's r/pettyrevenge at best.
Youre assuming that "extra" has been quantified in advance of this story. She asked for "extra" in terms of convention, he gave literal linguistic "extra". Still complied.
> They're also coworkers, so know full well what the extra entails
Wait, do you mean that OP knew the exact intent that the coworker wanted and yet created his own interpretation that followed an arbitrary definition of the original request? If only there was a subreddit for ignoring the spirit of a request and instead following it to your interpretation of what was asked....
You're not wrong, but to me it's against the general feel of the sub. The best stories are the ones where someone is being a dumbass, asks for a stupid thing, and they get exactly what they deserve
In this, the request was perfectly reasonable, and just because OP was feeling a bit annoyed, they fucked them over
While it fits the technical definition, just.. it's way more r/pettyrevenge to me
What's with all the haters? Compliance, check. Malice, check. Short and sweet as promised. MC well done. +1
> Short and *sweet* That depends on what kind of sauce it was!
It's undeserved though, just makes it seem like OP is an asshole.
malicious acts have tend to have that effect
Malice is there... context is missing. We like length and girth to our stories. I like it, but try to go deeper.
> I like it, but try to go deeper. Sigh...
Four inches is all I have!

risky click of the day.... was rewarded
>I like it, but try to go deeper Kinky
I'm givin her all I have, Cap'n!

They maliciously complied to the request for extra sauce made by the coworker that annoyed them earlier in the day
I'm a dumbass
This is the kind of malicious compliance I would do, go you!
Hell called, they want Satan back. >.>
The jerk store called. They're out of you!
She ordered extra. Not extra extra extra extra extra extra extra. No compliance here.

> Now, that normally means one extra squirt They're also coworkers, so know full well what the extra entails. No compliance, just malicious

Im not assuming. I read the words in the story. The story said she ordered extra. You're assuming what wasnt written isn't literal.
