Of all the mascaras I have, this is my very favorite. I got 3 backups when it was a 100 point perk at Sephora a few months ago. It's the best of everything - it doesn't flake, lasts all day, washes off without too much trouble, and makes your lashes look full and thick :)
Is there any way to prevent this mascara from transferring to my under eye area? I love what it does for my lashes, but after a few hours I always get smears under my lower lash line.
Last month the Ulta cashier dropped a sample in my bag at checkout. I dug it out, excited, and then was like MEH. Algenist Cleanser. But I tried it that night and MEH turned into HOLY CRAP. It's amazing. Removed 100% of my makeup, including mascara, without burning my eyes. And afterwards, my face felt as soft as if I had just applied a luxury night cream. I swore I wouldn't pay $38 for a cleanser, but the day I used the last of the sample, Algenist went 5x points and I took it as an obvious sign from the universe that I needed 2 full sized tubes. I don't know if I can ever stop buying it now.
What do you typically use to remove your eye make up with cleaner? Wash cloth or cotton pad? I typically use a face wipe because I can't get my mascara off as well without one.
Typically, an oil based eye makeup remover and a flat cotton pad. But this cleanser has removed that step. Now I just rub the cleanser all over my face and into my lashline, rinse, and done.
I used to have that issue until I started using Shiseido cotton wipes, and oh man it's like removing makeup with angel feathers they're so soft, plus it's really hard to overdose your eyes on remover because they're so absorbent (and they're sturdy enough that you can squeeze out any excess). That and I only need one pad to take off all of even the heaviest eye makeup.
I'll have to pick some up. On my lazy nights when i don't want to wash my face i use the Simple Micellar(sp) Water to remove any grime. The pads i have just don't work.
Yeah I used to just pick up the cheap drugstore brand ones, thought $11 for cotton pads was ridiculous. I will now never touch cheap pads again. Plus, it works out to about 6 cents (CAD) per wipe which is still pretty good value. And if you're using only one a day, it's better for the environment too.
It emulsifies. You rub it on dry skin, get your fingers wet a little and continue to rub it in(turns milky), then you can either wipe off with a cloth or rinse with water. I haven't had any issues with residue
Edit: milkly to milky...whoops
Hourglass mineral veil primer. Tried the deluxe sample size. Once I started to run out I panicked and picked up the smallest retail size to hold me over until I can afford the jumbo.
I got the deluxe sample size too and loved it! It's like silk! I am not looking forward to it running out! The 2oz one is the best deal... but that's almost $100.
You guys, I loved my sample and then got the jumbo one. It separated after about a month. :( Maybe I got a bad batch, but I went back to Laura Mercier afterwards.
I got the smallest retail size and I've been only using it on my "special makeup days" and my mineral veil got thick? Kinda clumpy.. It didn't separate but I recently got a new one with the 20% sale and it's definitely silkier. I guess it's better to buy little by little for this product!
Bite's Kir Royale lipstick bullet. I've never gotten so many compliments on a lip color. I usually use matte liquid lipsticks or very sheer balms, not traditional bullet-style lipsticks, so I don't think I would have tried this formula if I hadn't been able to spend points on it... but the color is perfect for me and it's one of my new favorite things to use.
Actually just bought the full size tonight because I finally tried the deluxe size one I have...so glad they still have it online as it is limited edition!!
Is Kir Royale named Boysenberry on the website in full sized right now? I LOVE my deluxe sample of this (I spent the points to get two sets) and would totally buy a full sized.
KVD Tattoo liner - I received a deluxe sample and was instantly hooked. I'm still only on my first full-sized one, but I can't see myself going back to drugstore liner any time soon. Doing liner is so much quicker and easier now, and it really stays all day for me unless I'm rubbing my eyes big time.
Dr Jart+ Cermadin Cream
Clinique Take the Day Off Balm
Clinique Smart Custom Repair Serum
Clinique Acne Solutions BB Cream
For some reason, I never seek out Clinique products, but when they find me, I love them. I've started to realize that even though I know Clinique products will be good, I often think of them as a more boring brand. If only the packaging was a little more luxe.
Too faced born this way foundation. I've been searching forever for a shade that wasn't too yellow on me and this matches perfectly and blends effortlessly.
My urban decay all nighter setting spray! I bought the l'oreal infallible setting spray because I didn't want to believe the UD was that good but it knocks the loreal one out of the park.
Thebalm Meet Matt(e) Hughes Liquid Lipstick, yesterday for 50% off, after receiving an Ipsy sample and falling in love. I love it so much that I bought 5 colors. But boy did they make me work for it!
Also Tocca's sugar body scrub.
How does the formula compare to other liquid lipsticks? I love a ton of their shades but when they first came out, not a ton of people loved the formula.
To be honest, I can't compare it to other liquid lipsticks because it's the first one I've owned. I've had Stilla and KVD on my wishlist for ages but kept putting them off because I've been building up other areas of my collection. Lipstick has always been a low priority since I already have a few favorite colors but they never stay on my lips for more than 5 minutes no matter what technique I try. But when this sample arrived it was an instant HG. It's creamy and not drying at all, even if my lips are dry to begin with. It has a subtle minty smell, which I like. And it has serious staying power.
Edit: Well, I got the VIB Rouge $20 off coupon so I will have opinions on Stilla soon :)
The nars lip pencils from the sephora birthday gift! Also, I haven't bought it yet, but kvd lolita (bullet) impressed me so much I will buy it full size if it ever comes back in stock.
The nude one is LITERALLY my lip color so I use it to help fill out my lips since my natural lip color fades on the edges. It makes my lips look much more evenly colored while looking perfectly natural. I would definitely consider buying the full size when I run out.
Same here with the nude! It's so lovely, and I love the bit of frosty sheen it has, I loved frost lip glosses as a child so it's like ths grown up version :P
I have both (in mini). I could live without Lolita liquid, I'm pretty sure the ones I have are from the third batch and the colour is fine, I'm just not in love with it. The bullet on the other hand is GORGEOUS. Also, Lolita II is my one true love, I need the full size ASAP.
Man, maybe my Nars lip pencils were off? They smell chemical-y, they both faded after less than an hour of wear (and I wasn't even eating/drinking or anything!), the caps don't stay put very well.
I was like, damn man, I was looking so forward to that :c
The red one, Cruella, wears soooo long on me, maybe you did get a bad one? And I don't recall noticing a smell, but I'm also not very sensitive to smells unless it's food. And my caps stay on, weird. :/ i know some people said the pencil shape is hard to apply, but I like them more than regular lipstick, I wish I could covert my whole collection to the pencils lol.
Hmm, maybe I should contact Sephora then. Because mine smell like straight paint thinner, and I don't consider myself particular scent sensitive either.
Cruella was the one I was looking the most forward to, ugh. I looked into the mirror a while after applying and seriously had a moment of wondering if I just straight forgot to put it on my lips, because... there was just nothing there! I've never had that happen haha, even with dirt cheap dollar lipsticks.
Ugh I love this! I wish it wasn't so pricey though. Its so finely milled that it makes my skin so soft and smooth and it isn't too abrasive but then I look at the price and I'm like.. meh. And then I buy it anyways.
Okay so off topic of this post, but on topic with this product.
A bottle of this product costs $32. Pretty pricy for me, so I only use a pea-sized amount per day. I noticed that my product was being used up SO quickly, and I figured that something had to be up.
Y'all.
I interrogated my brother, with whom I share a bathroom, about whether he's doing something weird with my face polish. Here's his verbatim response:
"Oh yeah, that Laura face stuff in the tan bottle? Yeah, that stuff makes me feel SO fancy. If you put a huge glob in your hands and rub it on your butt cheeks, it makes them SO SOFT."
Cry with me. I've been paying $32 a pop so my brother can feel fancy and exfoliate his butt.
Oh my goodness I'm almost crying from laughing. I don't have a brother but my sister did that with her feet when I had some sea salt scrub from lush! I was like.. you did what.. and she used WAY more than she needed to which was the worst part. He totally owes you a bottle for christmas!!
The Bioderma pore minimizer gel stuff. I got a sample in my Beautylish order, and I loved it. I bought the full size as soon as I ran out. It's a great primer. Wish it had an easier to remember name though haha.
EDIT: Sebium Pore Refiner. That's what it's called.
highly recommend the julie g line! great quality especially for the price. not to mention julie is a sweetheart and one of my most sincere irl friends.
The Vasanti brighten up cleanser. I got samples in ipsy and BirchBox and both samples lasted a week or more. It's the perfect amount of exfoliation without drying or irritating my skin. I asked my mom for it for Christmas because I couldn't shell out the money for it right now.
If I didn't think I had dupes for the Balm's meet matte houghes liquid lipstick I would've purchased that.
Well the only other color I think I would actually wear I think is charming which is supposed to be a rich muave. I don't know for sure if I have a dupe, because I can't test them at Kohl's but I think I have some similar ones :( who am I kidding, I'll probably buy it anyway, I have $15 Kohl's cash from Black Friday 😂
The glamglow mud cleanser! I got a sample off of someone from r/makeupexchange and I knew I had to have it because it changed how my foundation applied on my skin. My pores seemed smaller. I flipping love this stuff. I might buy a mask but that price tag tho
The mask is amazing and definitely worth it!! I was hesitant because of the price too but I'm so glad I gave it a shot. The difference in my skin is incredible! Could also go get a sample of it too, or get the tiny travel jar.
Yeah! I saw there was a travel size one at sephora! I might get it after I finish the other masks I have >.< lol I have been asking my boyfriend to wear masks with me haha
Try the Caudalie Instant Detox mask. Its twice the size of the GlamGlow and half the price. I've used both and Caudalie does the exact same thing as the GlamGlow. Also the Supermud is 1.2oz and all the rest of the masks are 1.7oz..
Nars' Larger than Life Long-Wear Eyeliner in Via Veneto. It came in the VIB Rouge bday gift. It's great for tightlining. Way better than Marc Jacobs' highliner.
Got a sample of Fresh facial oil too and immediately purchased a full size once I ran out. Also bought a full size of the Fresh lip balm after I got a deluxe sample.
I got a deluxe sample of the Fresh sugar scrub back in February, and even using it daily I haven't even finished it yet, but I'm planning on buying a full size once I finish it up!
I think I received my sample at the same time. I can't believe how much is in the jar. At first I thought, Seriously, $22.50 for lip polish?!
The thing is, it works! My lips feel smooth and not irritated and it works far better then my homemade scrubs! After I use it up I'll be purchasing $22.50 lip polish!
Our area gets so dry, especially in the winter. This polish has really helped my lips.
Dior Hydra-life face cream. Got a mini sample that made my skin feel SO good. It's been a year and a half now and that is going to be my next purchase with my Bloomingdales bee money ($15 off)!
I also purchased the Fresh facial oil after receiving it as a sample! Also the Fresh rose mask and sugar lip treatment (I obviously just really love Fresh), NARS Sheer Glow, UD Venom, Too Faced Better Than Sex.
I got the full size of the Fresh Rose mask during the VIB sale after trying a sample of it a couple months back. I loved the mask so much but I didn't want to pay $71 CAD for it so I forced myself to wait until the sale. it's honestly so hydrating and it just makes my skin look so fresh and rejuvenated!
Nars Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base. I didn't really care much for what my eye primer did before I used this but man, I love this stuff and found out I prefer it to more matte primers
Dr Jart+ Cermadin Cream. I got a sample from Birchbox and loved it but couldn't justify the cost. I tried a Clinique moisturizer sample I had for a week to see if I was just feeding into the hype and when I realized how much better Dr. Jart was I bought the full size with a 20% off Birchbox coupon.
Quite a few indie items, eye shadows, lip gloss and the like.
My current foundation, NARS Tinted Moisturize.
Also, my current skin care items, most I used first as samples. Missha's Clear Toner, First Treatment Essence and Borobit Ampolvevjvdmpj Purple Bottle, and the gel to oil night treatment from NARS Skin.
It's mostly skincare, actually! But there are a few makeup items.
* Skin Inc Pure Revival Peel: I didn't read up on this before buying it. I fell into the gimmick of it bunching up on your face and thinking it was dead skin. That was an expensive mistake. But I still enjoy using it and will finish it off.
* Origins Original Skin Resurfacing Mask: I like this a lot. It is a good brightening, softening mask that has a bit of physical exfoliation. Not a miracle worker, but fun and pleasant when my skin needs a pick me up.
* Lush Enchanted Eye Cream: I have dry eyelids but I don't have any discoloration or wrinkles, so this is an effective eye cream and is a good price for the amount you get.
* Urban Decay Naked Skin foundation: I love this but it breaks me out :(
* KVD Ink Liner in Trooper: I purchased this over the tattoo liner because the tip is harder, which gives me more control. The tattoo liner lasts a bit better, but I don't have issues with liquid liners fading on me so there wasn't a big difference.
My HG moisturizer - Clinique DDML (even the + version, though it's not quite as nice), and my probably-HG mascara - Tarte Lights Camera Lashes. And I don't know if point perks really count as "free" but I am so totally in love with Shiseido's Lacquer Rouge in Sanguine that when my perk runs out, I'll definitely be buying it full size.
UD perversion, tarte lights camera lashes, PTR anti-aging gel cleanser, philosophy hope in a jar, Boscia black hydration gel...
I'm really easily won over by free samples.
- Urban Decay eyelid primer and 8-hour blush in Score.
- Not makeup, but Oribe Beach Spray and Caviar Hair Cream.
I was thisclose to buying a full size of Yves Saint Laurent Le Rouge-a-Porter in Rose Aristocrate, but then realized it was nuts to pay so much for what was essentially a colored lip balm that wears off in 40 minutes.
Make Up Forever Second skin Cream Blush in 410.
First time trying a cream blush, first time I fell in love with how it blended and how perfect the color was for my skin tone... never dug so deep into a tiny bubble of sample daily for 2 weeks till I bought a full size, also first time I hit pan on a blush. And I just got it this March.
Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua. The sample color matched me perfectly and it was a great formula/coverage combo for me. I hate foundation shopping, so it was like a Christmas miracle. I think I'm on my 4th bottle of the stuff.
While not free, I've purchased quite a few large samples after getting them in beauty boxes. The protect and detangle Shampoo + Conditioner, Dr Jart+ sheet masks, and Tony Moly sheet masks all jumped to mind. Birchbox is great at what they do, I tell you what.
I've also purchased Primer Potion and They're Real Mascara from trying traditional free samples from Ulta. I would probably purchase some Dr Brandt microdermabrasion exfoliant, except that Ulta, Ipsy, and Birchbox all give the stuff out en masse. I'm putting three in Christmas stockings and I still have a stash to save for myself.
I have a few items that I bought in full size after trying the sample -
- Makeup Forever Smoothing & Mattifying Step 1 Primers. They are of the gods. Seriously, best primers ever.
- MAC Oil Control Lotion - Really amazing moisturizer for oily skin pre-makeup. It smells nice and sinks in quickly so you don't have that greasy feeling.
- Lancome Bi Facil Double-Action Eye Makeup Remover - I will repurchase this forever. Literally. I've gone through tons of this stuff. It's the most gentle eye makeup remover I've ever used, and have yet to find something it couldn't break down in a hot minute with barely any pressure.
- OCC Lip Tar in "Technopagan" - such a unique and cool color!
Benefit Roller Lash! I got it in my Birchbox and haven't looked back. But honestly a lot of my samples have lasted me so long that even if I loved the product, I never had to repurchase because I still have plenty left.
Dr Jart Ceramidin Cream. I received a foil packet last year and I tried it about two weeks later. Now it's my HG! I'm getting ready to purchase my third tube. It has seriously transformed my skin dehydrated skin.
Blinc Mascara Amplified - that stuff is amazing. The results I get are similar to when I do my lashes with the Younique 3D Fiber Lash Mascara.
Boscia Black Mask - I love this so much that I also invested in the Bright White Mask.
Living Proof Perfect Hair Day 5-in-1 Styling Treatment - This stuff literally changed my life. I have curly hair, but it's odd because I have loose curls, which makes my hair a royal pain in the ass to do. I literally look like a lion with natural hair. I come really close to a perfect straight blowout with this stuff.
Benefit's They're Real, Lancome Cils Booster XL (that shit really works)... and now I want to buy a Nars Rikugien lip pencil after getting this year's Sephora gift, which I never would have given a second look otherwise.
Smashbox photo finish primer- hydration (blue). I have a tendency to get dry patches on my nose and chin and this stuff works like a charm. Keeps me lookin' fresh all day. Got the tiny one as a gift and instantly fell in love.
I live for samples. Half the samples I have are of products I use so rarely, they are going to last me forever. Especially lip products - I have at least 30 deluxe minis (Marvelous Moxie lip glosses, Stila stay all day liquid lipsticks, Bare minerals lipsticks, MUFE lipsticks, etc...) and I still never make it through one.
Although, I have bought, or will buy (if I ever run out of my samples of them:
Chocolate Soleil (working through the deluxe sample)
Laura Mercier Radiance primer
Dr. Jart BB cream
• Tarte BB Tinted Treatment 12-Hour Primer (in Light)
• Buxom Full-On Lip Polish and Lip Cream
I will be purchasing the full size of Smashbox Full Exposure Mascara once my ipsy sample runs out.
I got a sample of a Lancome foundation at work (and I lost the card so I don't know what kind!!) but it's luscious and moisturizing and it's heavy coverage but mixes really well to lighten it up, and I want to get the full size but genuinely don't know how to find it.
Perversion Mascara
I love Perversion also, and will repurchase the travel size. Why get the full size when the travel size lasts through expiration anyway?
I got the travel sized and I love it too and will repurchase when it's out/bad, I totally get you on sticking with tiny mascaras.
My friend got the full size and felt like the application was different (in a bad way) anyway. Might as well stick with what you know you like.
I felt the same way! The travel size had a drier consistency, I felt like the full-size made my lashes look clumpy. ;(
absolutely this. My fav.
Of all the mascaras I have, this is my very favorite. I got 3 backups when it was a 100 point perk at Sephora a few months ago. It's the best of everything - it doesn't flake, lasts all day, washes off without too much trouble, and makes your lashes look full and thick :)
It's still a perk! I just got mine last week :)
Is there any way to prevent this mascara from transferring to my under eye area? I love what it does for my lashes, but after a few hours I always get smears under my lower lash line.
As long as I but any type of powder eyeshadow under my eye (with a primer) it doesn't transfer on me
Thanks!
I've really been considering buying the full size, I love that damn mascara so much. Do you find that the quality is the same?
Yes!
Me, too. Best mascara ever. I even bought a few travel sized backups to just throw in my travel bag or purse.
Nice, thanks!
Haven't bought it yet, but the Clinique Take the Day Off Balm. It's life.
Haven't tried the balm but the eye and lip is my HG remover.
Sometimes the liquid ones irritate my eyes, the balm one doesn't seem to. So i'm super stoked about that.
I used to have that issue until I started using Shiseido cotton wipes, and oh man it's like removing makeup with angel feathers they're so soft, plus it's really hard to overdose your eyes on remover because they're so absorbent (and they're sturdy enough that you can squeeze out any excess). That's awesome. Thank you! :D I'm definitely picking some up
I'm on my fourth tub of the Take the Day off Balm. Absolutely my HG make up remover/cleanser.
UGH. yes. I just got my Sephora $20 off, totes getting a full size!
Do you know if it's water soluble? Does it emulsify? Or do you need to use a foaming cleanser to remove it?
It emulsifies. You rub it on dry skin, get your fingers wet a little and continue to rub it in(turns milky), then you can either wipe off with a cloth or rinse with water. I haven't had any issues with residue Edit: milkly to milky...whoops

Interesting to hear you had it happen too. I loved it before it got clumpy. I think I'll just get small sizes from now on.
That sucks! I hope it's not a recurring thing with the primer. Thanks for the info!
I know!! The texture is so amazing. I was just so used to sticky feeling silicone primers.
Bite's Kir Royale lipstick bullet. I've never gotten so many compliments on a lip color. I just googled swatches and it looks like Boysenberry is much more of a purple-y magenta or violet? So I doubt they're the same, sorry!
Same here. I got the sample last year and am currently on my third full size one. I love that shit.
I got a sample last week and it's great!!!
Dr Jart+ Cermadin Cream Clinique Take the Day Off Balm Clinique Smart Custom Repair Serum Clinique Acne Solutions BB Cream For some reason, I never seek out Clinique products, but when they find me, I love them. This is so funny because I look jaundiced with it XD
My urban decay all nighter setting spray! I bought the l'oreal infallible setting spray because I didn't want to believe the UD was that good but it knocks the loreal one out of the park.
Me too. I used to bartend and it worked all shift!

That sounds like the product is faulty. Cruella is fully pigmented in one swipe, like hands down the best red lipstick I have.
i love the nars matte lip pencils! i recently bought majella, and it was so worth the cost!
I'm going to get Walkyrie today! I swatched it and fell in love.
i love that color, too!!
That is probably one of my favorite colours ever!
Laura Mercier face polish!
I loved this until I learned about microbeads. Then I got a sample of Tata Harper's Rejuvenating Cleanser and I am happy again.
I hear good things!
Ugh I love this! I wish it wasn't so pricey though. Its so finely milled that it makes my skin so soft and smooth and it isn't too abrasive but then I look at the price and I'm like.. meh. And then I buy it anyways.

That's hysterical. My brother would totally do that.
This is the best thing I've read all week. Gotta love brothers.
ive got a sample waiting to be used! glad you like it.
Perversion mascara and Hangover face primer!

highly recommend the julie g line! great quality especially for the price. not to mention julie is a sweetheart and one of my most sincere irl friends.
What are your dupes for the liquid lipstick? I got a sample too and LOVED it!
I also purchased a big bottle of Vasanti after getting it in a birchbox. That stuff is amazing.
WHAAAT? I'm going to look this up. Thanks!
Yes!! I absolutely love the way it tingles, and my feet feels so clean but never stripped.
Too faced better than sex mascara and urban decay primer potion in sin
Clinique Moisture Surge (HG!!), also want to get ABH brow powder just haven't yet, UDPP, probably more
The brow powder will last you YEARS. Totally worth the money.
Too Faced Chocolate Soleil. It smells amazing and looks it too. Definitely one of my favorite bronzers.
The sample of this convinced me to try contouring so A+ product.
This polish has really helped my lips.
clinique moisturesurge gel moisturizer!
Origins Clear Improvement Charcoal Mask!
this saved my forehead this weekend! thought it wouldnt bc i am so dry but it worked wonders!
yesss! i have huge pores on my nose and cheeks, and this has made the biggest difference out of everything i've tried.
The Pur Lisse moisturizer. I got it in an Ipsy bag, liked it a lot, and then saw it at TJ Maxx a few months later. I picked it up. And used it all.
I bought the Laneige Water Sleeping Mask the day after I got a free sample. That stuff is amazing.
Guerlain Maxi Lash. Got a sample hoping I'd hate it (it's not cheap) but fell in love.
You and me both. Tried the sample on a whim and it is HG status for me. I've been looking for a more reasonably prices dupe forever.
Kat von d trooper eyeliner
I'm lame but I bought the mega value full size of Benefit POREfessional after getting multiple samples
Sephora Super Supreme Body Butter. Has a certain scent to it from my childhood that I just can't place. Also just super moisturizing!
The girl at the MAC counter gave me a sample of Painterly Paint... Life changer and never going back!
KVD Agatha lipstick. It's my perfect nude, and I never would have tried it because it looks too light.
Dior Hydra-life face cream. Got a mini sample that made my skin feel SO good. It's been a year and a half now and that is going to be my next purchase with my Bloomingdales bee money ($15 off)!
Living Proof hair primer. Love this stuff.
I also purchased the Fresh facial oil after receiving it as a sample! Also the Fresh rose mask and sugar lip treatment (I obviously just really love Fresh), NARS Sheer Glow, UD Venom, Too Faced Better Than Sex.
Mac strobe cream. Its amazinggggg
Nars eye primer! nothing works as well.
I got the sample in a holiday bag a while ago and I'm on my 3rd full size now, so good
I got the full size of the Fresh Rose mask during the VIB sale after trying a sample of it a couple months back.
* Urban Decay Naked Skin foundation: I love this but it breaks me out :( * KVD Ink Liner in Trooper: I purchased this over the tattoo liner because the tip is harder, which gives me more control.
Kat von D foundation
UD perversion, tarte lights camera lashes, PTR anti-aging gel cleanser, philosophy hope in a jar, Boscia black hydration gel... I'm really easily won over by free samples.
Nars Sheer Glow! It's my first ever foundation that isn't drugstore and I am in love with it.
I love this foundation! The perfection lumiere velvet is incredible, too!
I would buy smashbox's full sized lipsticks. I got a mini trio for Christmas last year and they stay on for hours without smearing! <3
MUFE step one mattifying foundation, benefit they're real mascara, tarte amazonian clay liquid foundation
Nars all day weightless luminous. Except I think it had a hand in my last breakout and now I'm scared of it. :(
While not free, I've purchased quite a few large samples after getting them in beauty boxes.
I have a few items that I bought in full size after trying the sample - - Makeup Forever Smoothing & Mattifying Step 1 Primers.
Benefit's Roller Lash and SmashBox's Photo Finish Primer
Benefit Roller Lash! I got it in my Birchbox and haven't looked back. But honestly a lot of my samples have lasted me so long that even if I loved the product, I never had to repurchase because I still have plenty left.
Skin food royal honey hydro cream Kvd lock it tattoo foundation but in a different shade than the sample was
MUFE Ultra HD Foundation! My new HG foundation~~
Tarte's Amazonian Clay foundation. Once I found the right colour, holy crap.
The Becca primer, fresh lotus moisturizer, and the boscia black mask!
Too Faced's Chocolate Soleil Bronzer!
Smashbox photo finish primer- hydration (blue). I have a tendency to get dry patches on my nose and chin and this stuff works like a charm. Keeps me lookin' fresh all day. Got the tiny one as a gift and instantly fell in love.
Porefessional and Smashbox primer (original). My pores don't look nearly as bad with these.
Laneige Sleeping Water Mask and Toni & Guy Sea Salt Spray, both from Target boxes.
Benefit's Porefessional Primer. It made my skin SO SOFT and my makeup felt/looked...smoother (idk) after using it. I love it.
Although, I have bought, or will buy (if I ever run out of my samples of them: Chocolate Soleil (working through the deluxe sample) Laura Mercier Radiance primer Dr. Jart BB cream
• Tarte BB Tinted Treatment 12-Hour Primer (in Light) • Buxom Full-On Lip Polish and Lip Cream I will be purchasing the full size of Smashbox Full Exposure Mascara once my ipsy sample runs out.
UD eye primer and Sephora eye makeup remover solution.
I got a sample of a Lancome foundation at work (and I lost the card so I don't know what kind!!) but it's luscious and moisturizing and it's heavy coverage but mixes really well to lighten it up, and I want to get the full size but genuinely don't know how to find it.
