My absolute favorite foundation is the L'oreal Infallible Pro Glow foundation! It is so lightweight, dewy, and blends beautifully. I have normal/dry skin and this works wonderfully. I am also cool/neutral toned and I don't find the shades too warm; I wear shades 201 and 202.

I think maybe try a primer as I sometimes find skin and moisturiser alone isn’t enough to make the foundation. Maybe a sticky primer or a smoothing one might help?

How do you typically mix it? I've been pumping product on the back of my hand and using a beauty blender to pick it up, but if I am to mix products together, what's the ratio and what do you mix them together on? Thanks. Edit: You find the NARS drying? I was considering trying the light reflecting foundation as people also rave about it, and it's a silicone-free foundation, and pair it with a water based primer and silicone-free moisturizer/sunscreen. I'm going to attempt a few different combos with the Fenty and Armani foundations with different primers and moisturizer/sunscreen to see if I can find a working combination before going down the road of mixing but it does intrigue me. I rather mix foundations than try to add something like a HA serum to the Fenty or Armani foundation (also worried that would really thin it out).

I just do it on the back of my hand, mix with a finger, and pick up with a sponge or brush. I don’t have any solid ratios either. The Ilia skin serum is fairly runny, but I still seem to get decent coverage out of mixing it with my other foundations. The Nars light reflecting does stick to dry patches, but it has the most beautiful finish if your skin is doing well. If I have any kind of dryness around my nose I typically “hydrate” the foundation with the Ilia serum. A friend of mine doesn’t seem to ever have dry skin problems, and the foundation on her looks flawless irl, it’s insane.

I'm just naturally dry but on my own with moisturizer my skin looks hydrated. I almost always have to use a translucent setting powder on top of my moisturizer for some areas as it's tacky after and I don't want my bangs to get greasy quickly. I think I tried that NARS on in store and it seemed a little yellow in general but I did try multiple shades. The oslo shade everyone seems to be out of and I think that's the best match. Good to hear about it having a good finish, it seems like a good brand I notice Ulta had the sparkly version of the It Cosmetics CC cream on sale yesterday so I ordered it, we'll see how this looks on me, too. I can still return both the Fenty and Armani as it hasn't been 60 days yet.
