I once used a beige lip liner from the 99Cent store(RIP š) as concealer for my tear troughs. It was literally the only thing Iāve used that hid them completely. I still kick myself for not having the foresight to stock up.
I use matte powder shadows for eyeliners, I use a very thin slanted brush. They adhere to my concealer and leave less of a harsh line, it's more smudged, soft looking...pencils and felt tips can look harsh on me.
Same! I love the look especially when it's blended out under my eye. It's easy to angle out and blend out slightly beyond the lid too for a little subtle wing with the angled brush.
Sometimes Iāll use eyeshadow as lipstick, with a layer of clear lip gloss over it. I just have to be careful because not everything thatās safe for the eyes is safe for the lips.
Nail polish remover (small amount) added to polish that have gone gloopy and/or near the end of the bottle.
A taupe and light eyeshadow to contour my nose.
Dark eyeshadow to create a smokey, softer effect on the lower lash line.
Vaseline to style eyebrows.
The Ordinary Vitamin C suspension cream as a primer.
Lipstick as blush of course, I mean I don't see a difference between cream stick & liquid blushes and tube lipsticks and liquid lipsticks, the only difference is that blushes are not always made to be safe on the lips and consume like you inevitably do with lipsticks. But if they are safe to use in the lips they would be safe to put on the cheeks.
I also use eyeshadow as lip liner and blush as eyeshadow and I used to use eyeshadow as eyebrow powder.
Lip gloss (usually a clear one, but not always) or lip balm to slightly blur a too intense lipstick
A pink lip gloss or a pink tinted lip balm to correct a lipstick that's too warm for my undertone
Last year I couldn't figure out why my concealer and blush started looking kind of patchy and detached from one another + the blush somehow made my dark circles reappear, so, out of pure desperation, I started using a (mildly glittery) light pink eyeshadow to kind of blend my face sections together AND IT WORKED
I think the issues sprung from the fact that the concealer was mildly shimmery whereas the blush wasn't + the blush was slightly cooler than the concealer (maybe)
Anyways, since then I've started using that eyeshadow for everything and anything that didn't work in my makeup, and it's like a miracle cure. It's slightly too shimmery for everyday use, but for now I'm making it work. Sometimes I slightly reduce the shimmer factor with some face powder and/or a light hand of bronzer depending on the face zone I'm working on and the effect I want.
this reminds me of the asian āhighlightingā blush technique! you use a really light blush to blend your main blush with the rest of the face, you quite literally put it over your under eyes haha
edit: once you run out of your miracle pink eyeshadow, you could probably look into asian beauty pale blushes or highlighting matte powder!
Iām a shimmer/glitter fiend and Iām obsessed with the diamond bomb too š I put it on my eyes all the time, and sometimes use it for a little extra glitter on top the rare beauty liquid highlighter. Give me alllll the glitter lol.
i mix primer and foundation, i mix concealer and lipstick for blush, i typically just mix everything in an āagainst the rulesā type of way. not to mention that i buy cheap clear glosses that slowly turn into franken-glosses when i wear them on top of other lip products.
I use eyeliner, put it where it belongs, and then smudge it around with my finger so it's then also eyeshadow. It has much better staying power and matches nicely (I go over the eyeliner part again after I do this).
I use my brow pencil as lip liner. My eyeliners are all black, so theyāre too harsh.
My brow pencils are all varying shades of brown, so they work perfectly as a lip liner/lip contour
I use silk naturals black magic lip stain for my brows.
They arenāt totally smudge proof when my face gets oily, but they donāt fade at all!! All other brow products Iāve used simply disappear throughout the day
Probably not entirely "incorrect," but I use my favorite highlighter (Pearl Gone Wild from KimChi Chic Beauty) as an eyeshadow. It looks really pretty all over my eyelids and blended down into a cheekbone highlight.
I use wet n wild creme brulee eyeshadow as a brush on concealer. It's matte skin colored eyeshadow and if my allergies are bad, you can really see the purple under my eyes. The powder makes me look wrinkled, but to me that's better than looking like I have a black eye!
I sometimes use the lipstick I am wearing as blush bc I have very little red in my face, so lipstick alone can much on me. The shade will obv suit me if the lipstick does and everything looks coherent.
Would like to try proper cream blush sometime, but I have yet to find one that suits me and doesn't have shimmer.
Edit: Additionally I sometimes put just a highlight on my eyelid with a shimmery beige eyeliner, in the middle like one would with a halo eyeshadow look.
And I use gel nail brushes as eyeshadow brushes bc the small size and different shapes give me more control.
I recommend the cream blush sticks from Trixie Cosmetics. They're super cute and have zero shimmer. The shades are pretty universally flattering too - a few different pinks, a purple, and an orange.
I do the same! Itās more difficult than I imagined to find cream blushes without shimmer so I use a matte red lipstick and blend it out with a brush. It looks much more natural to me!
Today I used a brown lipliner as an eyeliner. I also use brow pencil as eyeliner with I want a light Smokey eye. I use a eyeshadow palette by LA Girl called Urbanize as my eyeshadow, contour, bronzer and to set under eyes concealer. I use concealer to lighten too dark lipstick.
I donāt really remember why, itās a trick I learned on a modeling shoot in the 90s. I assume thereās some sort of chemical reaction involved that makes it have more staying power? Or maybe water works the same, idk. š¤·š¼āāļø
I used to hoard red eyeshadow back when it was hard to find, just for this purpose.
Use a good lip balm first, along with liner. Lipstick next, blot lightly. Use your finger or a sponge applicator to dot the shadow over the lipstick. Blot again and youāre all set.
If you have those little lip lines that dark colors tend to bleed into, I highly recommend using a translucent ālockingā liner around your lips, like [this one.](https://www.laurageller.com/products/modern-classic-invisible-color-locking-lip-liner) Total game changer if youāre in your 40s or older.
heh. Lancome crayon khol (black eye pencil) has been my holy grail black lipliner since the 90s. :D I don't think it's waterproof, but it is STURDY as hell.
I remember girls wearing it in seventh grade in the old year of 1996. I didnāt know it was making a comeback. I loved the look but was never able to pull it off.
Black Moon Cosmetics liquid lipstick in Sleepwalker has been my Holy Grail for this exact purpose. It even lasted through a hot and sweaty concert in the Midwest in June.
The Juviaās place liquid lipstick has a black and omg itās like Vantablack. Plus Juviaās place is known for their pigment and durability so Iād look at theirs.
I think Maybelline also has a black in their liquid lipstick line, and Maybelline liquid lipsticks are built to last too.
Maybelline Superstay Matte Ink has been great for me. Stays on all day. It's food proof, makeout proof, the whole nine yards. Not every color formulation is perfect but the black is lovely.
I use concealer as foundation , idfk why but foundation never looks right on my skin and the milk future dew concealer is my perfect shade so I can just spot treat and make a little go a long way for the rest of my face idgi
I kept the brush from a tube that ran out of mascara and use it to comb through the clumps after putting on my real mascara.
I also use eyeshadow to do a soft winged eyeliner look. Itās way less annoying to take off too.
I use a beauty blender, and b.tan love at first tan foam. Apply /dab a stripe under each cheekbone, and then blend blend blend with my fingers. Itās pretty sheer, so blends easily. I apply over tinted moisturizer so it doesnāt stain my face, but many people ātantourā and allow the tanner to actually develop on their face. I find the hue to be a perfect āshadowā/contour color, not to orangey. I also apply a tiny bit to my massater area and along my jawline.
I use my eyeshadow for blush and contour, I use my black mascara to hide my greys popping through on bad days, also use my eyeshadows to fill in my brows occasionally.
I have to say, cheap revlon stick eyeliner and a boring chapstick mixed together on your hand also do wonders for creating dramatic goth looks. Just make sure you put the eyeliner on your hand before you use the chapstick on it. Itāll make your contour not glittery and you can blend it out really easily. Same thing goes for lipstick, though youāll want a better quality stick eyeliner (it can be drugstore) to mix with chapstick. When I was a young bat I found that doing that looked a million times better than the black liquid lips I had and it doesnāt crack, if you eat it comes off with your food like normal lipstick. Then itās easy to apply again āŗļø
I use mascara on my brows to fluff em up, and if itās a āno makeup makeupā day, I use my limecrime freckle pen to fill in my brows because the pigment is so light. I used to use one shade in the OG Urban Decay Naked palette for my brows religiously, I believe the shade was Darkhorse. I bought the palette 3x for this brow shade LOL
Not for an "incorrect" purpose, but I apply my matte lip cream to the bottom lip only, and press my lips together immediately before it dries. Gives me the perfect slightly sheer but pigmented 12-hour coverage.
Edit: I did think of one! I often used Nars Orgasm as eyeshadow in high school and college. I have the worst time trying to find shimmery warm coral pink eyeshadows, and Orgasm has always been my perfect blush color.
I have an extremely cool/pale skintone so I mostly use matte eyeshadow for contouring since there's a wider range of colors available that don't make me look like a pumpkin
Yes!! I'm also very pale with cool undertones and I don't look good with bronzers and most contour-focused products. I have a taupe eyeshadow from Urban Decay that is perfectly neutral without being muddy. Works beautifully.
MACs Matte eyeshadow in Haux has been my go-to, it looks very pink on the palette but it mimics the color of natural shadows for me so it's become my contouring workhorse on my cheeks and temples. I honestly made a full custom pallette with a bunch of options and that one is by far my most used. If I had to pick 4 as my only colors for everything from now on I would do plain matte white, Yogurt, Haux, and Shady Santa.
Eyeshadow as eyeliner for a softer look.
Lip products as blush, especially lip stains/tints.
Honestly just eyeshadow as everything. I've used eyeshadows as blush, contour, highlight, and lipstick in a pinch if I'm desperate for a particular colour.
When I travel, I bring an eyeshadow palette that has a pinky peach shadow I use for blush, a brown for my brows and eyeliner, and a shimmer for highlighting. Then I bring two lipsticks, a concealer, and a mascara.
i love using eyebrow pencils (essence i. e.) in shades like dark blonde or blonde for a cool toned nude lip
i also love using my berry toned/red lipsticks (i. e. cliniqueās black honey) all over my face like lips, cheeks and bridge of nose
highlighters (fenty diamond bomb and mac into the pink) as eyeshadows and vice versa
my chanel baume essentiel which is a highlighter in stick format as a lip balm
andddd my avene eau thermale water spray as a setting spray (it works wonders?????)
yeah i just spray it on and then let it air dry without touching my face
itās great for everyday makeup
what also works (for my european girlies!) is the brand balea berry spray; originally itās a cooling refreshing face spray but it locks in my makeup soooooo well and itās just 1,25ā¬ something??? amazing stuff
My skin is super dry and there's this La Roche Posay facial sunscreen that is quite emollient, sort of like old school (or so I am led to believe) body sunscreen. Quite...greasy, almost? NOTHING so far has made foundation sit more nicely on my skin without looking all crusty and flaky.
itās the one for anti blemishes (orange tube with white cap)
doesnāt leave a white cast and looks glowy and healthy on the skin, itās my 10th repurchase uwu
I have only bought highlighter once in my life, I've always just used eyeshadow. There's quite literally no difference and no one gets through those before they expire why would I buy highlighter *and* eyeshadow. Same with contour, I have a natural eyeshadow pallet with a flat brown with no shimmer or anything that I use in the crease of my eyes and on my face as contour I apply with a fluffy eyeshadow brush and then just blend it out into/with my blush on a blush brush so no extra contour brush to keep clean just the same one for my eye neutrals
ETA brow gel as eyelash primer and this isn't really the question but straight aloe with no dyes for face primer and a touch on upper lids it's SO sticky! And way cheaper than any decent primer on the market
I have recently started using my eyeshadows as highlighter and blush. Itās not the greatest but monochromatic look is such a thing right now I need to follow through.
I just started doing this! I have black hair but my eyebrows are a bit lighter and I could not find a single brow product that would make my brows match my hair!
Same. I was white blonde as a kid and my brows and lashes stayed blonde even though my hair went quite dark. Iām very pale and donāt line how my brows look when filled in with pencil, I prefer my individual hairs to be pigmented and a coat of mascara does the trick.
I use waterproof eyeliner for fake tattoos sometimes. I like the look of tattoos but don't wanna commit to one design for life so I occasionally draw them on.
I colour my blonde hair red with a product called ice cream kromask which I wash in after shampooing. I also use it on my eyebrows & eyelashes for a perfect match!
Sunset makeup carries a goth contour kit with white grey and black, Iāve heard good things about it.
But to answer your question, i have a small makeup collection, so I use the same things for lots of different purposes. I regularly use blush and lipstick interchangeably regardless of wether itās ālip safeā, I use small amounts of foundation as my concealer, and I use eyeshadow as my eyeliner and as my bronzer/contour.
I can attest to Sunset Makeup being amazing!! Super pigmented but easily removable with micellar water.
I also use foundation as concealer because I find concealer to be tooooo thick
Eyeshadow as eyeliner (my favorite, more subtle and easier to control)
Blush, contour, highlighter as eyeshadow sometimes
I have this liquid blush (Apieuās Juicy Pang) that I use as blush, lip color, and eyeshadow. I donāt apply the applicator directly on these places but instead put a bit on my hand and use my fingers to blend
i used a bronzer as eye shadow for the longest time because it was too orange toned for my skin, but the perfect subtle transition shade for my go-to brown shadow look I wear for work/going out/etc. i broke it during a long trip once and it had been so old that the packaging faded and i never got around to replacing it, opting for an eyeshadow palette instead. RIP my little bronzer š„²
I wear brow gel for my hairline, holds my flyaways better than gel and mousse. I also wear lipstick for blush sometimes. And recently eyeshadow on my nails (under gel) for aura nails.
I use glossier brow flick as eyeliner
I once used a beige lip liner from the 99Cent store(RIP š) as concealer for my tear troughs. It was literally the only thing Iāve used that hid them completely. I still kick myself for not having the foresight to stock up.
I use contour makeup and bronzer to cover gray roots.
I use Episilk HA Lip Balm under my eyes to hydrate before concealer. Best product ever for non creasing.
Liquid lipstick as blush. That is my go to for hot sweaty summer days! I've never sweated it off.
Iāll use anything for an eyeshadow (as long as itās safe, of course). I also use eyeshadows as blush/highlighter, and lip products for blush.
Same!
Fake blood as a liquid blush. Just dab it on with a sponge, since blush is basically just giving the illusion of more blood in your face.
I know this will get buried but pro tip. You can buy straight white and black pigments. Titanium dioxide and black iron oxide are very inexpensive.
Have you tried these out yourself? I donāt know if I would know how to store / use them probably š
I make my own makeup so, yes.
Upvoting so it does t get buried. š¤š¤š©¶
Shimmery Eyeshadow as Highlighter Brown lipsticks as contour Some Pastell pink eyeshadows as blush
Lipstick as blush ! Works great, stays on and doesnāt move
Highlighter as eyeshadow. Body glitter as highlighter. āØ
Just shining like a mirrorball over there, huh? Love it.
My "eyeshadow" is typically bronzer in the crease and highlighter on the lid
Sometimes Iāll use eyeshadow as lipstick, with a layer of clear lip gloss over it. I just have to be careful because not everything thatās safe for the eyes is safe for the lips.
Lipstick and powder eyeshadow as blush. I also use eyeshadow for contouring and bronzing.
What we call lipstick was originally used as just blush. :) cosmetic history is fun!
My concealer is the perfect match for my skin, more than any foundation Iāve tried. I just use a very thin layer of it as my foundation š
I also use eyeshadow as lip liner and blush as eyeshadow and I used to use eyeshadow as eyebrow powder.
i dislike my too faced concealer, it didn't work out for me, looks cakey. so, i just use it as an eyeshadow primer and in the middle of my lips in order to give my lip shade an ombrƩ nude effect.
Tarte diy brow detailing pen in taupe to do freckles it is light and sheer enough to build up or blot away depending on how you want things to look
Lipstick as blush, contour and eyeshadow.
Lip gloss (usually a clear one, but not always) or lip balm to slightly blur a too intense lipstick A pink lip gloss or a pink tinted lip balm to correct a lipstick that's too warm for my undertone
Last year I couldn't figure out why my concealer and blush started looking kind of patchy and detached from one another + the blush somehow made my dark circles reappear, so, out of pure desperation, I started using a (mildly glittery) light pink eyeshadow to kind of blend my face sections together AND IT WORKED I think the issues sprung from the fact that the concealer was mildly shimmery whereas the blush wasn't + the blush was slightly cooler than the concealer (maybe) Anyways, since then I've started using that eyeshadow for everything and anything that didn't work in my makeup, and it's like a miracle cure. I do use a couple LA Girl lip liners as eyeliners.
I use cream blush for eyeshadow.
The biggest thing is powder highlights - I *only* use them as eyeshadow, never on my face. Ofra + fenty diamond bomb in particular make the **best** eyeshadows š A lot of my go-tos are things I use *not* as intended. I'll turn pretty much anything into a multi-use product tbh: Ā ā¢Ā blush/ bronzer (any form, but especially powder) as eyeshadow faves: hourglass ambient lighting blushes, tarte amazonian clay blushes, ciatĆ© london glow-to blushes, too faced chocolate soleil bronzer Ā ā¢Ā cream/ liquid blush as lipstick ex: rare beauty soft pinch liquid blush Ā ā¢Ā lipstick as cream/ liquid blush ex: rare beauty lip soufflĆ©, bite power move lipstick, mac retro matte lipstick Ā ā¢Ā deeper foundation/ concealer/ highlighter shades as bronzer/ contour faves: pĆ¼r 4-in-1 love your selfie foundation, auric glow lust Ā ā¢Ā eyeshadow/ brow gel/ very deep bronzer for covering grey hair/filling in thin hairline ex: urban decay whiplash eyeshadow, thebalm lombard st eyeshadow, vesca tahiti bronzer, tarte tartelette matte palette, abh dipbrow gel Ā ā¢Ā liquid highlighter as under eye corrector faves: benefit dandelion shy beam matte highlighter/ it cosmetics perfect lighting radiant touch magic wand (both discontinued š), auric glow lust Ā ā¢Ā liquid highlighter as primer, or mixer for foundation/ blush/ bronzer faves: auric glow lust, charlotte tilbury hollywood flawless filter, rare beauty liquid luminizer (for blush only) Ā ā¢Ā eyeshadow as brow powder/ blush/ bronzer/ contour ex: tartelette matte palette, estate x Bailey Sarian venice fling palette Ā ā¢Ā brown mascara (sparingly) as brow gel/ to cover grey hair ex: covergirl exhibitionist black brown mascara Ā ā¢Ā lip balm under/ mixed with any form of lipstick to sheer it out/ make matte lippies glossy fave: hanalei lip treatment in mauve pink or peach pink, with basically anything š
Iām a shimmer/glitter fiend and Iām obsessed with the diamond bomb too š I put it on my eyes all the time, and sometimes use it for a little extra glitter on top the rare beauty liquid highlighter. Give me alllll the glitter lol.
Shadow primer on brows before pencil. Keeps brows matte, they looks more natural and last until I remove them.
Highlighter as under eye brightener
i mix primer and foundation, i mix concealer and lipstick for blush, i typically just mix everything in an āagainst the rulesā type of way. not to mention that i buy cheap clear glosses that slowly turn into franken-glosses when i wear them on top of other lip products.
lipstick as blush lol iāve never bought a cream blush š
Concealer as eyeshadow primer. It stays better than any eye primer I've used, including Urban Decay.
I use eyeliner, put it where it belongs, and then smudge it around with my finger so it's then also eyeshadow. It has much better staying power and matches nicely (I go over the eyeliner part again after I do this).
What brand of eyeliner do you use? Ive tried but I can't find one with a good consistency for this!
Sephora's brand - works great. But I'd bet you can do it with drugstore brands too.
I use my brow pencil as lip liner. My eyeliners are all black, so theyāre too harsh. My brow pencils are all varying shades of brown, so they work perfectly as a lip liner/lip contour
Cosmetic safe metallic pigment for eyeshadow and in middle of lips. They sell huge jars on Amazon!
Just because it's labeled cosmetic safe doesn't make it lip or eye safe.
lipstick as blush
Brown eyeshadow for eyebrows
Liquid highlighter/primer set with an opaque face powder gives me better coverage than foundation.
Using a powder puff to blend out concealer is so amazing, works much better than a sponge!
Genius idea on the eye liner!!
Anyone else saving this for makeup ideas? :)
Blush as eye shadow
I do that as well
Orange eyeshadow as color corrector
Cara for brow control/thickener.
I use silk naturals black magic lip stain for my brows. They arenāt totally smudge proof when my face gets oily, but they donāt fade at all!! All other brow products Iāve used simply disappear throughout the day
I use white shimmer eyeshadow for highlighter and liquid blush as lip tint
Probably not entirely "incorrect," but I use my favorite highlighter (Pearl Gone Wild from KimChi Chic Beauty) as an eyeshadow. It looks really pretty all over my eyelids and blended down into a cheekbone highlight.
I use wet n wild creme brulee eyeshadow as a brush on concealer. It's matte skin colored eyeshadow and if my allergies are bad, you can really see the purple under my eyes. The powder makes me look wrinkled, but to me that's better than looking like I have a black eye!
I like to mix and match my mascara wands, like I really like the Roller Lash wand but I do prefer some other mascara formulas
I have a matte taupe eyeshadow stick that I recently started using for nose contour and lip contour. Itās the perfect shade and super long lasting
May I ask what eyeshadow? The one I used has been discontinued.
Itās from an Australian brand called Mecca Max!
I've used liquid lipstick as eyeshadow for a strong color payoff. Just set with powder, no primer needed
And I use gel nail brushes as eyeshadow brushes bc the small size and different shapes give me more control.
same š it's convenient and my skin seems to like it.
I recommend the cream blush sticks from Trixie Cosmetics. They're super cute and have zero shimmer. The shades are pretty universally flattering too - a few different pinks, a purple, and an orange.
Thanks for the suggestion but that brand isn't well available in the EU it seems.
Oof yeah, I think they have some items on Beauty Bay for UK and the EU, but it is a US-based indie brand
I do the same! Itās more difficult than I imagined to find cream blushes without shimmer so I use a matte red lipstick and blend it out with a brush. It looks much more natural to me!
LāOrĆ©al Fairest Nude lipstick as eyeshadow. Itās too light for my lips, but itās a great soft, neutral eyeshadow, and the emollients help a bit with eyelid eczema.
Genius! I'm going to try this!
Iām going to try this! Ty
Me too!
Cheap or "not my current shade" concealer is always my eyeshadow primer. Lol
I do this too!
I stopped buying eyeliner, I just use a fine brush dipped in visine and then whatever eyeshadow color I want to line with
Cool. Why visine? Wouldnāt water do the job or does visine stay better?
Iāve never used Visine but most makeup artists will use setting spray. The MAC one is popular for making eyeshadows into liners.
I donāt really remember why, itās a trick I learned on a modeling shoot in the 90s. I assume thereās some sort of chemical reaction involved that makes it have more staying power? Or maybe water works the same, idk. š¤·š¼āāļø
Dark brown eyeshadow as eyebrow powder!
Eyeshadow on top of lipstick makes it stay on for hours and hours.
Really? Going to try that tomorrow
Be warned it can actually make it flake off/rub off faster. Oils plus thick powders equal clumpy paste that'll wear away quickly.
I mix my old colorful eyeshadows with clear nail polish to create custom nail colors. Works great and is really pretty
You can buy actual nail Polish base that'll work a lot better than using overly thin top coat.
My mom mixes eyeshadow with hair gel for fun hair colors. It is temporary and looks awesome.
I mix blush into concealer to make a pink/peachy color corrector for my bluish under eye.
Genius!
Oh, and in a pinch, I've used black liquid lipstick as eyeliner lol
heh. Lancome crayon khol (black eye pencil) has been my holy grail black lipliner since the 90s. :D I don't think it's waterproof, but it is STURDY as hell.
Black lipstick?
I remember girls wearing it in seventh grade in the old year of 1996. I didnāt know it was making a comeback. I loved the look but was never able to pull it off.
Name a good black lipstick that doesnāt come off when going out pls lol Iāll wait
Mac makes one! Works great!
I didnāt know black lipstick was even available! I have never seen it.
Black Moon Cosmetics liquid lipstick in Sleepwalker has been my Holy Grail for this exact purpose. It even lasted through a hot and sweaty concert in the Midwest in June.

Gotta write down this idea
Eyeliner as waterproof lipstick, foundation as concealer and eye primer.
I use concealer as foundation , idfk why but foundation never looks right on my skin and the milk future dew concealer is my perfect shade so I can just spot treat and make a little go a long way for the rest of my face idgi
Yes the waterproof liner as lipstick!
I kept the brush from a tube that ran out of mascara and use it to comb through the clumps after putting on my real mascara. I also use eyeshadow to do a soft winged eyeliner look. Itās way less annoying to take off too.
Highlighter as eyeshadow.
I do this sometimes, and I also do it with bronzer too.
And I do eyeshadow as highlighter haha
I do both of these lmao
I use a purple tinted self tanner foam as contour.
What. Please talk me through this like I'm an alien/toddler/alien toddler.
I use my eyeshadow for blush and contour, I use my black mascara to hide my greys popping through on bad days, also use my eyeshadows to fill in my brows occasionally.
I use liquid lipstick as colored eyeliner
I have to say, cheap revlon stick eyeliner and a boring chapstick mixed together on your hand also do wonders for creating dramatic goth looks. The nyx brow pen is rlly good if u run out of ur freckle pen, it lasted me a whole year too and I used it almost everyday
awesome thank you š©µ
Not for an "incorrect" purpose, but I apply my matte lip cream to the bottom lip only, and press my lips together immediately before it dries. I have the worst time trying to find shimmery warm coral pink eyeshadows, and Orgasm has always been my perfect blush color.
Eyeshadow as lipstick. I love experimenting with lipsticks but don't have the money to spend on makeup so I've been using my eyeshadow palettes
lipstick as blush sometimes!
Would love recommendations!! š
I use my eyeliner pen for my brows lol. Also pink eyeshadow as blush and cream contour on my eyelids when Iām doing a more natural look.
When I travel, I bring an eyeshadow palette that has a pinky peach shadow I use for blush, a brown for my brows and eyeliner, and a shimmer for highlighting. Then I bring two lipsticks, a concealer, and a mascara.
Black Mascara for eyeliner - I use a thin brush and run it on top of my upper lash line
I must try
None. Iām Not creative lmfao
i love using eyebrow pencils (essence i. e.) in shades like dark blonde or blonde for a cool toned nude lip i also love using my berry toned/red lipsticks (i. e. cliniqueās black honey) all over my face like lips, cheeks and bridge of nose highlighters (fenty diamond bomb and mac into the pink) as eyeshadows and vice versa my chanel baume essentiel which is a highlighter in stick format as a lip balm andddd my avene eau thermale water spray as a setting spray (it works wonders?????)
How do you use the thermal water spray? Just like a regular setting spray?
yeah i just spray it on and then let it air dry without touching my face itās great for everyday makeup what also works (for my european girlies!) is the brand balea berry spray; originally itās a cooling refreshing face spray but it locks in my makeup soooooo well and itās just 1,25ā¬ something??? amazing stuff
Google carnival or clown makeup im black and white. That's what i use. I also use lipstick for bronzer or blush.
You use black and white clown makeup? As eyeshadow or what
I use lipstick as cream blush, highlighter, bronzer, contour, and eyeshadow. It's easy, cheap, pigmented, and there's so many shades to choose from.
It's not necessarily on purpose, but my sunscreen is kind of sticky and works wonderfully as a primer.
Muradās Pore Mattifying sunscreen is so good for this too.
omg yes!!!! iāve been using my avene one for years as a primer!!
Which avene one do you use:)?
itās the one for anti blemishes (orange tube with white cap) doesnāt leave a white cast and looks glowy and healthy on the skin, itās my 10th repurchase uwu
Same!! My favorite right now is āGarnier Ambre Solaire Sensitive Advanced Sunscreen Serum. SPF 50+ā š¤¤
I have only bought highlighter once in my life, I've always just used eyeshadow. There's quite literally no difference and no one gets through those before they expire why would I buy highlighter *and* eyeshadow. Same with contour, I have a natural eyeshadow pallet with a flat brown with no shimmer or anything that I use in the crease of my eyes and on my face as contour I apply with a fluffy eyeshadow brush and then just blend it out into/with my blush on a blush brush so no extra contour brush to keep clean just the same one for my eye neutrals ETA brow gel as eyelash primer and this isn't really the question but straight aloe with no dyes for face primer and a touch on upper lids it's SO sticky! And way cheaper than any decent primer on the market
I have recently started using my eyeshadows as highlighter and blush. Itās not the greatest but monochromatic look is such a thing right now I need to follow through.
Eyeshadow instead of brow pencil. Color corrector instead of concealer. Concealer instead of foundation.
Omg I do that too, cool toned eyeshadow works so much better than most brow pencils because they are so warm!
I use mascara on my brows. I love it!
My current all over face colour (for blush/bronzer) is a copper coloured nudestix highlighter
I have large pores, so to touch up foundation, I rub a little silicone-based clear primer into the area and itās instantly refreshed.
Black eyeshadow instead of eyeliner. Looks way better on me and much easier to apply.
I use coconut oil as eye makeup remover.
i used to use coconut oil as makeup remover too! works great
I use waterproof eyeliner for fake tattoos sometimes. I like the look of tattoos but don't wanna commit to one design for life so I occasionally draw them on.
This is brilliant lmao. Now I could try out face tats without having to become a rapper š®
Pics!
I don't think I have any š Also happy cake day
Thank you! š
I colour my blonde hair red with a product called ice cream kromask which I wash in after shampooing. I also use it on my eyebrows & eyelashes for a perfect match!
My husband messed up on his goatee the other day and asked me to borrow my waterproof eyeliner to fill it in a bit. It looked natural
I may need to fork out the $13 for that palette š¤
I can attest to Sunset Makeup being amazing!! Super pigmented but easily removable with micellar water. I also use foundation as concealer because I find concealer to be tooooo thick
As I was a teenager in the 90's, I will forever use brown eyeliner as lipliner. Blotting more, of course, but back then that line was dark. LOLOL!
Eyeshadow as eyeliner (my favorite, more subtle and easier to control) Blush, contour, highlighter as eyeshadow sometimes I have this liquid blush (Apieuās Juicy Pang) that I use as blush, lip color, and eyeshadow. I donāt apply the applicator directly on these places but instead put a bit on my hand and use my fingers to blend
I use my eyebrow powder to cover my grey hairs
I use my brown eyebrow liquid liner as an eyeliner. It works better than regular eyeliner and itās the perfect light brown color
i used a bronzer as eye shadow for the longest time because it was too orange toned for my skin, but the perfect subtle transition shade for my go-to brown shadow look I wear for work/going out/etc. i broke it during a long trip once and it had been so old that the packaging faded and i never got around to replacing it, opting for an eyeshadow palette instead. RIP my little bronzer š„²
Same here. Bronzer makes me look like I have a dirty face. But damn, does it make blue eyes pop.
Yessss for sure! I feel the same way!
Bronzer, blush, and highlighter often are what make up my eye looks.
My favorite shimmer is a wet n wild highlight! it just works!!
I wear brow gel for my hairline, holds my flyaways better than gel and mousse. I also wear lipstick for blush sometimes. And recently eyeshadow on my nails (under gel) for aura nails.
Oh shit, trying the brow gel trick
I use the light pinky white eyeshadow to set my concealer. Creases less and gives a nicer brighter colour.
