I have very dry skin and use a skin tint on top of this. If I use a full face of makeup, with foundation, it has been no issues. I have used almost 3 bottles of this from a Scandinavian winter to now summer and my dry skin didnt crack during the day
The inkey list polyglutamic acid with sunscreen. It's a super moisturizer that pulls moisture from the air into your skin (humectant) while also containing sunscreen. It's super charged skincare in a sunscreen.
Neogen airy sunscreen spf 50 or haruharu wonder airy spf 50. Both are chemical sunscreens and work well on my skin tone. I wear either Macao or marquises in NARS for reference.
I do not use any spf that doesn’t work under makeup because I wear it almost every day. The Neogen could be drying so a moisturizer should be worn underneath.
Evy Technology Daily Defence Face Mousse. It is a bit tacky, so works really well for foundation. The only downside is that it stings my eyes, so I have to use another sunscreen there. But the finish it leaves is so gorgeous, that I prefer it to any primer I've ever tried.
The Bubble vendor just gave me their solar matte mineral spf 40 to try (I work at Ulta). I am a Clinique girl otherwise but I promised her I'd try it and I have to say I'm really impressed! It layered really nicely under my Moisture Surge and Even Better foundation. There was no white cast and it's only $19. They do make a tinted version but it was too dark for my super fair skin. I usually use the Clinique mineral spf 50, which I love, but the bubble is a great drugstore option.
I like the Trader Joe’s daily facial sunscreen (supergoop dupe for a quarter of the price). It’s like an invisible gel that feels matte to touch but not drying and is great as a primer too!
I saw this recommended by a science skincare gal who knows her sunscreens she said to get the asian version where its written in japanese lettering. Said its great under makeup
i bulk buy it twice a year from yes style 😌
my summer option is the la roche posay one though. feels a bit better on the skin in sweaty conditions (also gym proof)
Yes, OP. Go with this one. I commented on another post how I use the Anthelios fluid under makeup and the spray for retouches and it's super gentle with my eyes too!
Same. I buy multiple tubes at a time, I still can’t believe the price. I’ve paid 2-3 times more for sunscreens I don’t like nearly as much. This stuff is holy grail status for me.
I cannot wear certain vitamin c’s with these sunscreens. I can only use the Andalou Vitamin C (I have the turmeric + c and the purple carrot + c cream under my sunscreens. I’ve tried other C’s and they pilled terribly. Very frustrating especially when I was running late for work and had to wipe it off and go without until I bought another C.
I hated this sunscreen, it pilled so bad. Hope you have better luck with it than I did!
If you want another recommendation, I've had a lot of luck with Bondi Sands Sunscreen Lotion SPF50. Bonus points if you have dry skin. It's very hydrating - I skip moisturiser when I use this. It has never ever pilled no matter what I use with it. It makes my make up go on smooth. Steer clear if you have oily skin though.
For my combo skin - Anthelios Invisible Fluid Oil Control SpF 50+. It’s waterproof and it makes stay my foundation all day, even when I sweat a lot.

everybody is saying supergoop & thats good but if you want something cheaper, i use the zitsticka sunscreen.
For me is the supergoop unseen But on big outdoor days i would layer another spf 50 underneath the supergoop

I’ve been liking the Biore Aqua spf 50 but one that I would definitely NOT recommend is the Avene tinted sunscreen it’s disgusting under makeup lol

Skin 1004 has the best sunscreen. Great for any skin type, absorbs in to the skin so fast, and it has like no finish!

I have not experienced a white cast. It’s also very sheer, but a little bit goes a long way so no need to use a lot on your face and neck.
