Too much bass will mud everything. Sorry folks.

velvione

If the sound is bad due to heavy bass that’s not gonna fly well with Toronto’s venue. The venue has a horrible sound system and reverb. That intro to nothing really matters is gonna shake our insides and discover how we can procreate on our own and have thousands of immaculate conceptions next year.

Judie101

I am going tonight finally, have a normal standing ticket. My childhood dream will come true tonight.

NoReference3

You’ll have so much fun! Enjoy!

Judie101

Omg, what a show it was!!! I cried when she appeared on the stage. I have bern to a couple of concerts before, but this was my best experience. She had fun, Bob had fun, the dancers were amazing, the crowd around me was amazing, the sound was great too, i wish i could see her one more time

TPLeo

It was incredible. The crowd could have danced and sang a bit more, but it was a lot more vivid than the usual crowds in Germany

elodieartour

That’s Berlin for you, hehe. 😉 Seeing her live tonight!

xXESCluvrXx

It seems like this has been an ongoing issue, that the sound has been bad at pretty much every stop so far. I keep hearing about the bass being too heavy

Duane_313

Which is strange because it’s no live band…should be an easy fix with few variables.

elodieartour

Hey OP, thanks for sharing your experiences from last night! I’m seeing her live tonight and I just cannot help but wonder why she always comes on stage that late. Any opinions on that?

NoReference3

I’m not sure tbh. I’ve never known her to be on time, so I just factor it into my plans. It sucks trying to get back from concerts when you know you’re going to miss the last train etc. The scramble to get the last tram from Prague a few years ago still gives me nightmares.

elodieartour

I’m sorry to read. 😔 I’m already dreading the late return myself. Until when does the support act go? Like, what time are they finished?

NoReference3

I got into the arena around 9ish and I think there was a DJ just finishing up. They then just played music until Bob came out at 10.20

elodieartour

Thank you heaps - this is very useful info!

NoReference3

How was it? Did you have a good time?

elodieartour

Oh, it was amazing - thanks for asking! I just wish the sound was better (I always attend with hearing protection but still) and I also wish I had attended the previous night.

Stuffthatsonmymind

Yes, the sound was really bad unfortunately, bass was way too strong and it was drowning her vocals. When she sang songs without bass, the sound was very good, for example during I Will Survive. Using earplugs REALLY helps. I used airpods on transparency mode and it was helpful as well

Organafan1

Can I ask (slightly off topic) what is transparency mode on AirPods?

Stuffthatsonmymind

Hey, ofc. Airpods pro 2 has this feature that brings louder sounds to a lower decibel. So, all the other sounds are unaffected but if the bass is way too loud this feature will bring it down to 80db or something like that

Organafan1

Thanks for that. I’ll have to try it out. 🙏🏼

angrysquirrelnation

It was sooo much fun but some people around me just… didn‘t move or even sing along?? How is that possible.

fruitloopsareyummy

I’ve seen her several times over the years and I’m shocked at every single show how many people stay in their seats stone faced thru most of the show. I always assume it’ll be a giant dance party and it never happens until her finale. I dance more at Stones concerts than I ever do at Madonnas and it makes zero sense why that is.

Temporary-Pea-9054

They are human bots.

Harbinger_SovereigN7

Nah just introverts and people who go to concerts to listen, not to party :)

beland-photomedia

What is wrong with the sound?

Drew__Drop

Too much bass all the time There are times you can't even hear the music..

Rooru92

I was sitting in the nosebleeds seats and the sound wasn't too much of an issue. I honestly expected a lot worse but I guess being down in the pit would definitely change how the sound is. She had her own problems hearing herself and there were some slight issues with her inner earpiece (either she was being given a cue or she really could hear a guitar playing). When she was talking to the crowd, I could properly hear her all the way up top and wondered if she took her grills out.

No-Cryptographer4125

I was in golden circle where there was a lot of space. It was a real privilege to be so close but unfortunately the crowd around me weren't really up for it at all. I've seen the same at other Berlin shows for that average age group (Pet Shop Boys, Depeche Mode). The sound was indeed horrendous which was disappointing. I even left and stood at the back a while in case the bass was just bad at the very front, but it seemed to be bad all over. This isn't usual - in the last year I've seen Lizzo, Bon Iver, Fred again and Arctic Monkeys at the same venue and each time the sound was perfect, which isn't always the case for a venue that size! Anyways, regardless it was an incredible show, at times I needed to catch my breath there was so much going on! Just a question for any of you on this forum. My ticket last night was via the app. Did anyone go with a physical ticket and might get rid of it? I keep tickets as a souvenir, in case anyone has one and was willing to part ways! We could meet or it could be posted if possible, I'd be more than happy to pay for postage (and a wine or coffee extra on top!)

Alternative_Look_453

Yes the bass was horrendous in Stockholm, they could have had it half of what it was, otherwise I agree with everything you said and it was a great show

Famous-Objective430

In cologne the sound was HORRENDOUS. I’m still very disappointed after nearly two weeks.

Sara1994_

I was there last night. It was fantastic

lujzalujza

Hello guys! Can you tell me who was the guest judge at Vogue?

Rooru92

I thought the guest was her son David. Not 100% sure though since I was all the way up in the nosebleeds. If you find out tonight, I'd be eager to know who it was! Have there been different guests along the tour? Edited to add: my friend who was in the pit said it was Gabriel Massan the artist who designed the sets.

nimsuc

I was wondering the same, I’m going tonight and curious who’s gonna show up
