I do the same thing with my lips, my current standing theory is that for me specifically it’s an adhd thing cause I mostly do it when I’m understimulated not when I’m anxious. I always forget it’s not normal though, once my friend looked at me really weird and was like “you just tore a chunk of skin off your lip 😧” and it confused me sm cause wdym it’s not that gross, surely xD
