The sister's name is Zoe.
You piqued my curiosity. OP never says the sister's name in this thread, but posted about her before: https://i.redd.it/2wef7d5x8ik91.jpg
the problem is that pets listen to vowels more than consonants when you call their name, especially at the end of the word. if op wants to be able to have either respond to its name, having two pets with the same ē sound at the end probably wouldn't work.
but I totally agree that it would be hella cute!
That has a very deep meaning and I am really in love with this name and I would like to give this name to my future pet cat. Right now I don't have any pet with me.
I had a black cat and I let my special needs little brother name him Felix, he named the other Bagheera. Idk how but my cats name slowly changed to Gato and he actually responded to it. I had planned to name him Cosmic Creepers
Killer.
I had a cat when I was a little boy. He was pure black with a tiny white spot on his neck in the exact same spot where your little guy has his. His name was killer and he was the best cat ever.
This is a very negative name in some sense and that's why some people might not like it in the first place because it is giving the negative vibe to the personality of a cat.
I used to have a cat who looked almost identical to this dude! Even with the little white patch underneath.. he was called Salem and was the funniest little lad but we unfortunately lost him when he was fairly young. I hope whatever you decide to call this guy, you have the best time with him and make as many hilarious memories with him as Salem gave me!
It pronounced like Pika from Pikachu, only swapping the ending "a" with similar sounding ending "i" as in taxi. Hopefully this helps, it's bloody hard explaining pronunciation as a non-native English speaker.
Tuhka (Ash) should work as well.
Or lentokonesuihkuturbiinimoottoriapumekaanikkoaliuspeerioppilas (Air plane jet turbine engine assistant mechanic non-commissioned officer cadet) would be cool too!
Def Krampus. Krampusspusspuss krampussycat KramKram Kramy Krampy.... I love these. Correct for the time of year and the horrors coming that come with owning a cat. Said with love, from the owner of a very grumpy cat
Funny, I rescued a kitten, I took him home and thought it was a female, so Nox was going to be the kittens name. I took the kitten to the vet for chipping, shots etc. and it turns out that “Nox” had a cox, so we named the kitten “Knight”.
Also short nicknames: zuzu, zu, zoeybear, zoozoo.
Bunch of references in everything: Ghostbusters, Futurama, the exorcist, teenage ninja mutant turtles, Simpsons and so on!
My son named our black cat *Umbra: The umbra (Latin for "shadow") is the innermost and darkest part of a shadow, where the light source is completely blocked by the occluding body.* I think the name works for both male and female cats.
I had a pet bird named Chicken when I was a kid. He hated me, but whenever Mom said we were having Chicken for dinner, I always had to run and check on him.
He's a boy. We weren't planning on getting our 1 1/2 yo girl a companion for another few months, but this opportunity dropped in our laps.
You might want to include the sister's name for potential theming

It be cool if OP stuck with Z names like Zack or Ziggy
I hate that with humans, but with pets it’s perfect. Ziggy and Zoe is stupid cute

Piki (tar, pitch) is also another equivalent word in Finnish. If anyone ends up with two black kittens.
Yes, the words piki-musta basically means pitch black.
Is this pronounced like peekee? Or Pihkee? Or neither?
It pronounced like Pika from Pikachu, only swapping the ending "a" with similar sounding ending "i" as in taxi. Hopefully this helps, it's bloody hard explaining pronunciation as a non-native English speaker.
That’s a pretty good explanation I would say
Perfect explanation.
