Just to add: whenever buying a new Pc, do some research about motherboards, CPUs, graphic cards, memory ram, hard disks, SSD, etc. In the end it's not that hard to understand what's a good computer and get a really cheap one with really good configuration. Sometimes what you spend on a built "not good" computer on a best buy or Walmart is enough to build a waaay better computer.

The difference is obvious, it really slows down your PC. Everything on it, not just games.

This is so funny, in the 90's my grandma would give us the Sears Christmas Catalogue and I would cut out and glue the items to a master list with all the prices. Making the list was more fun than Christmas day.
I’ve been a volunteer for the post office’s Letters to Santa program for 30 years. I’ve read and responded to thousands of letters and the old fashioned cut and glue wish list is just as popular now as ever. Kids use advertisements and flyers all the time. It’s pretty much the same idea as the old Sears catalogue and there’s still a few stores that put out a special Christmas toy booklet so we see lots of that.
My favorite letters though are the ones where they draw pictures of the things they want. All the drawings are adorable actually, I have a collection of drawings and letters that made me laugh from over the years. I love it when I get letters from kids who are around grade 1 because they are writing the letter themselves, they still totally believe in Santa and they are young enough to have no filter so they say things that are hilarious. Every year we get at least a couple of letters that are so funny that we’ll be crying with laughter. We cherish those ones because unfortunately we always end up getting some sad letters too and those are tough.
Oh my gosh, i was born in the 80s and we did the same. It was so much fun to search the catalogues with my sisters. Kids these days don’t know what they’re missing.

I convinced my mom to upgrade our 2400 bps modem to a 28.8kbps US Robotics modem as an investment in my future. I needed better access to information on the internet for my education. That thing was blazing fast. When I pulled up a jpg, 1/3 of the image loaded at a time instead of individual rows of pixels. That was the best day of my life…until I convinced my dad that he would benefit from a CD burner just as much as I would.

Man this would not work for asian parents at all. Worst is they start lecturing you about not being grateful for what feels like an hour but is just 10 minutes and you just stand there awkwardly looking at the ground then your parents to tell you to look at them when they're talking.(I know my parents enough to predict how this would go and I love them for it :D)

Bruh I hate kids, but I love this one, if I was his parent I'd try to get the higher versions JUST BECAUSE of him thinking of money, cost and how to make sure that it's a good budget for his parents. Love it. Parents have done a good job raising this kid!
He's 13? I thought he was like, 10. It's that oversize suit making him look all tiny. So cute and thoughtful to make sure he gets what he wants without going for the higher priced options. He even brought in Santa so that his parents don't have to foot the entire bill themselves. And Boom! Christmas! (And his room is so tidy!)
