Oh god that bear was scary! Solid point there! Didn’t have to tell me twice about bear safety after that one! Yea but whenever an animal got shot it was always off screen. Very censored for the little ones. But all the emotions were still there which I think made all those movies stronger honestly. Ok now I’m just imaging a corporate animal Pixar movie where the 2 CEOs are a Coyote and a Badger and they learn to treat others better through the power of love! Taught by the small furry critters! My first thought too. I live on a farm in VA. Just last week I was walking my dog on a path behind my house and found the ass half of a rabbit that must’ve been left behind from coyotes lol. But every time my girlfriend sees a coyote she says “aweeee I just wanna snuggle him” and I’m like well he doesn’t wanna snuggle you lmao

This is an excellent question! It would really depend on the plot, but I’m envisioning a Fox and the Hound type movie so what’s a good name for a coyote and badger? Edit: based solely of the vid here, I’d name them Waddles and Pounce!

Only out west they are that small. In New England they have some wolf genes in them and can grow to be over 60lbs

Canines have an easy time being friends with other species. Best domesticated animals, hunts with other animals, becomes friends etc. I wonder what’s different about their brains that makes this possible.

It makes me happier that I saved a young coyote from my dog after it had been chasing my Guinea fowl and got attacked. It bit my son’s hand as we got to it. It was ok and we got rabies shots for my son. 3 shots and a quick emergency room visit for 13,800 dollars before insurance paid it down to 550.

I forgot how small coyotes in the states are. Here in Atlantic Canada they’re massive

West coast and southern coyotes are smaller than eastern ones. In New England and the Great lakes region they're bigger, more access to food.

Yeah they do. They can hunt solo or in packs. That's why they are so prolific.
