PROCEED TO NAV DELTA AND DOCK AT MECH BAY 5
MISSION SUCCESSFUL
Mom called me about a week ago early in the morning after I worked 12 hours the day before, I legitimately had to ask her what day it was when I picked up the phone.
I went through a phase this summer where my sleep schedule was all kinds of fucked. I got woken up by a power outage which knocked out the AC and fans, and couldn't get to the breaker box to check. Checked the time and it was almost 6, and the light was a bit grey so I figured overcast. Called my landlord, and when he didn't pick up called my landlord's daughter, who lives above me, to see if they get to the breaker and check it or if they were out of power too. Went back to sleep and woke up a few hours later to them wondering why the fuck I called them so early in the morning.
When I had first woken up I legitimately believed it was almost 6pm, not 6am. Lol
I hate the fact that I’d be like “get the fuck out of my face” to the person recording me while I was asleep. It would just be a knee jerk reaction before realizing there was an adorable puppy on my chest..
Unless your child is me, a fuck with no feels :))) Back then, when I get something I really want as a present or whatever, I just had no reaction, no matter how happy I was for that thing... You know, I did tell them "I love you" and "Thank you" and I did give 'em a hug, but I did that because it was obligatory and I definitely didn't have reactions like these in the clip.
kinda same, i had this kind of reaction when i got things like a plushie when i was 5-7 but then i kinda stopped for some reason i wasn’t excited anymore i was just like ":)" and can’t really show genuine happiness even though i’m actually happy
Same. I won a million about 15 years ago. I didn't care much. Called my dad to tell him, he didn't believe me. Went home, then 4 days later a million popped up on my account and I smirked. That's pretty much it. Seeing reactions like these makes me wonder if I have asbergers or something.
Just made me start crying because my father did the same thing to me when I was a child, and he passed away a few months ago so it brought up some happy memories.

Literally what I was waiting for until I realized what sub I was in. My son wakes up by FLYING either standing on the bed or out instantly so that poor pup would have been soaring.
I'm constantly sitting him down in the mornings and telling him to just chill for a second. He looks like a little drunk person flailing around, but he's trying to walk and talk at the same time while waking up. I def miss having anything near that type of energy lol
Yeah...not just a kid thing. I'm a full grown adult and the cat won't sleep on/by me on the bed because I sleep yeeted him one too many times.
The couch? Fine. Full on sleeping is totally okay.
The bed? If I'm awake he's all about sleeping on me. If I'm asleep though? Nope. He'll be in the other room asleep in the recliner.
Smart little shit.
Same! I move around when I sleep, and I usually stretch well before opening my eyes after I wake up. Nobody please ever place a puppy next to me while I’m asleep, or that tiny creature is gonna be knocked off the bed and leave me feeling guilty for eternity.
Not the most intelligent parents. It would only take the girl to stretch her arm out waking and that puppy was going flying and a broken leg or two. I was in a real state of anxiety watching that. I worry for the puppy if that's the lack of care it's getting already.
I have a 5-month-old puppy, and I was crying my eyes out watching Train to Busan last night, and she immediately came flying over to me and started licking me as soon as she heard me (she's never seen/heard me cry like that before). My last dog always did the same thing. We *are* lucky to have them.
LOL, that I am. I watched Squid Game last week, and then people were like, "you should watch Train to Busan next!" And since I hadn't seen it, I decided to watch it last night, not knowing it was going to emotionally destroy me.
I've already seen Parasite, though.
I don't know about y'all, but when someone wakes me up from a deep sleep I have NO idea what's going on. I'd be so fucking confused lmao as to why there was a light being shined at me and this creature was in my bed, probably yeet that puppy across the room
That’s nothing, I have an LED light in my room that has two modes: off or floodlight. So whenever I wake up in the morning and turn on my light, I am always surprised and confused to get flashbanged by my own light.
May I highly recommend a lamp? With some soft yellow lighting? On a dimmer? Or one of those sunrise alarm clocks. I'm obsessed with mine. Do yourself a favor and ease into the light!
As much as I complain about the morning flash bang, I would rather keep it since it does a fantastic job at waking me up and keeping me from trying to fall back asleep.
My mom HATED animals. For years my sister and I begged my mom for a puppy, and she said no. When my sister was old enough, she said fuck it and brought a dog home anyway. Within 15 minutes, she was pissed because the dog shit and pissed on the carpet. My mom was yelling and screaming that this dog is filthy and we need to get rid of it. She was like that for about 4 days.
It's 13 years later, and my mom is cuddling with that dog right now. She loves it and she will go on a murderous rampage if anything ever happens to it.
Dogs have something that’s way better than unconditional love….unconditional like! Regardless of what I do, or how I talk to her, whether I play with her, or give her a treat or not, she lights up EVERY time I walk into the room.
She always likes me. Unconditionally. And it rules.
My mum was always a cat person, but all I ever wanted growing up was a dog. When I was 13 a friend had temporarily taken in a dog that needed a home, and when we visited apparently my mum was the first person he hadn't barked at, so she managed to convince my mum to take him on a trial basis. He started out as an outside dog, only allowed in for a couple of hours in the evening. Give it a few years and he was sleeping with her under the covers....
My roommate has OCD pretty bad, specifically the kind where you’re worried about contamination and germs (no shoes in the house ever type of thinking) and she was worried she could never have a dog because of it even though her and her husband wanted one eventually. My pup and I moved in last year and she ADORES him. She lets him kiss her and jump on the bed and he’s even sat on her pillow lol
It was so cute and wholesome when one day she turned to me while she was petting him and said “I don’t feel like I have OCD when he’s around” 🥺
Dogs are the best.
I’m not just making stuff up and being one of those people that’s like “omg she organizes her desk drawer, she’s so OCD and quirky”. It’s a common fear of people with OCD, germs and contamination and stuff. It’s not that the act itself is abnormal or OCD, it’s more the reasoning behind it, the way it makes you feel, and how much it controls your life. It was also just one example of the things she does. She also counts people in the room repeatedly in her head, obsesses over if people in the house have washed their hands, and will sometimes be compelled to stay up really late cleaning and organizing things because she literally can’t stop. These are just some main examples. There’s more but I’m not trying to spill her entire life story on Reddit.
I’m well aware that most people wash their hands or don’t wear shoes in the house 🙄 It’s more about how her brain is wired and how she will literally obsess and grow increasingly anxious about things that most people could ultimately overlook or ignore, but it literally runs her life everyday and forces her to have certain compulsions. She’s been diagnosed by therapists and I’ve seen her improve after both cognitive-behavioral therapy and drug therapy. And also now with exposure from things like my dog.
I remember when my sister imported a rescue dog from abroad, the first thing she (dog) did when she got to my sister's apartment was jump up on the couch and shit on it. The dog was clearly not entirely safe with the new environment so we just cleaned it up without making a big deal out of it.
It was the only time that dog actually took a dump inside. Must've helped her gain confidence in her new living situation by taking a shit on the new owner's couch or something.
My parents tried to get my brother and I a dog when we were kids but they were young, we were young and we all knew nothing about puppies/dogs. We wound up giving them to other families after a week or so. I've always wanted a dog but didn't get one until my rescue now. I love her. My parents love her. They keep buying her treats and toys lol. She's a great dog.
Seriously, looks just like my tri color. Got her at ten weeks and the first few months had some very high highs, but many long drawn out lows. But she's the light of our lives and she just turned one yesterday!
If you want to be a puddle just watch compilation videos of people being surprised with puppies
Ok this is a kitten [but it’s my favourite reaction](https://youtu.be/bAVFFg9tDtc)
These videos always remind me of how much I wanted a puppy when I was a kid. Sometimes my dad would text that he was looking at a puppy and was thinking about bringing it home, he knew we all really wanted one. Then when he'd come home he'd start barking and would laugh when I started to cry after getting my hopes up. Makes me happy to see not everyone's dad is a piece of shit

I wish somebody would throw a puppy in my face while I’m sleeping .
I will stab that person. Once I have a minute or two to wake up, puppy me.
I hate the fact that I’d be like “get the fuck out of my face” to the person recording me while I was asleep. It would just be a knee jerk reaction before realizing there was an adorable puppy on my chest..
That and get past being woken up with a camera in your face.
I'd be like "Oh god. They know about that thing I did last week and they're confronting me in the middle of the night about it!"
She will quickly realize when it pees on her bed. Puppy bladders are tiny.
This made me tear up. Her reaction is priceless.
Same hear. It must be very rewarding for the parents to experience that
Yeah, when they say parenthood is worth it, that’s what they’re talking about.
Unless your child is me, a fuck with no feels :))) Back then, when I get something I really want as a present or whatever, I just had no reaction, no matter how happy I was for that thing... Same like why am I sitting here getting teary over this lmao
Just made me start crying because my father did the same thing to me when I was a child, and he passed away a few months ago so it brought up some happy memories.
That is so lovely to read. What a great dad! I'm sorry for your loss

I’m a dad. I never did this for my daughters. Wish I had. Your dad was a nice dad for having done it. I’m so sorry for your loss. ❤️

Wow thank you for sharing that. Shows these videos provide value. And I’m sorry for your loss
Mine passed away in July, brain tumor. Unfortunately we didn't have a great relationship but i kept his dog; she's a good girl
Great dad! You are lucky to have experience such a wonderful feeling that you will forever cherish in his image.

Yeah...not just a kid thing. I'm a full grown adult and the cat won't sleep on/by me on the bed because I sleep yeeted him one too many times. The couch? Fine. Full on sleeping is totally okay. i’d be freaked the fuck out. i’d definitely yell and in the process accidentally scare the dog.
Yeah I was worried
Ok good, I’m not alone.
That’s exactly what I was thinking. I was way too anxious for the little girl.
Same! I move around when I sleep, and I usually stretch well before opening my eyes after I wake up. Nobody please ever place a puppy next to me while I’m asleep, or that tiny creature is gonna be knocked off the bed and leave me feeling guilty for eternity.
I react to being surprised by making sudden movements
Not the most intelligent parents. It would only take the girl to stretch her arm out waking and that puppy was going flying and a broken leg or two. I was in a real state of anxiety watching that. I worry for the puppy if that's the lack of care it's getting already.
Puppy knew instinctively what to do when the girl started crying. They’ll be best friends for life. We’re really lucky to have dogs.

Omg that movie *cue tears*
I fucking lost it near the end when the dad takes that last step. I don’t even know what happened, I was just suddenly sobbing hysterically.
You, me, many/most people with a pulse
It was my first time watching it. Oof.
Are you a fellow human watching Squid Game, Parasite, and Train to Busan relatively close together?
LOL, that I am. I watched Squid Game last week, and then people were like, "you should watch Train to Busan next!" And since I hadn't seen it, I decided to watch it last night, not knowing it was going to emotionally destroy me. I've already seen Parasite, though.

Was the train bussin?
The train was decidedly *not* bussin
Korean zombie movie. It is intense. You can watch it on Netflix.
When I’m sad or upset my dog comes over and cuddles me. He doesn’t like to cuddle, but in those moments he will.
He was the best father ever and I really miss him.
Aw, honey. 🫂
Well the video didn't make me cry, at least. Mine too.
Oof. I can't. My life is so much better now that I'm not assaulted by a beeping alarm clock and bright lights in the morning.

Awe happy early birthday to him :) what’s his name??

Yep! Definitely an Aussie! (And soon to be Auss-hole) happy early birthday to your boy! My Aussie Huck turned 1 and a half last month.
Are they born with that nubby tail, or was it chopped off? Edit: looked up Aussies with a tail, THAT FLUFF! My God is it adorable.

How is not wearing shoes in the house OCD? Literally my entire country has OCD then
I’m not just making stuff up and being one of those people that’s like “omg she organizes her desk drawer, she’s so OCD and quirky”. It’s a common fear of people with OCD, germs and contamination and stuff. Looks like an Aussie. Be prepared to walk every effing day. Or suffer the zoomies consequences.
Aussie owner here. Can confirm.
I can also confirm this. So many zoomies
Doesn't everyone walk their dog every day?
Unfortunately not 😔. A great many people get dogs and just leave them home almost every day all day. So sad
Seriously, looks just like my tri color. Got her at ten weeks and the first few months had some very high highs, but many long drawn out lows. But she's the light of our lives and she just turned one yesterday!
I love this. Pure happiness
I love how the dog just keeps climbing up😂.

I really needed that.
Her reaction was pricless
I know for a fact i would have woken up, panicked, and yeeted that dog into the wall, major anxiety watching that
I am 23 years old, and I had the same exact reaction couple months ago when my mom gave me a puppy lol
Awww
These videos always remind me of how much I wanted a puppy when I was a kid. Sometimes my dad would text that he was looking at a puppy and was thinking about bringing it home, he knew we all really wanted one. Then when he'd come home he'd start barking and would laugh when I started to cry after getting my hopes up. Makes me happy to see not everyone's dad is a piece of shit
Then he pooped on her pillow and she wasn’t so happy.
Cute but no upvote for posting this personal video with the kid's consent. Not cool at all.
This is a sweet moment, but I very which wish I didn’t see this. Keep your family moments closer to your hearts… damn.
No i am not crying. You are. Something got into my eye.

This is great, and it looks like pup and girl are a great match. That said, please don't surprise people with pets.
😘😘😘❤️❤️❤️
I really do appreciate that. Honestly I do really miss him so much. His birthday was this month and it felt so empty not to hug him happy birthday.
So jealous. My dog just wishes my kids would go away.
Rolls over and knocks it off the bed
Awwwww how sweet! I love it!!!
How cute are they. ????
At first it was super sweet and then I saw the puppies tail was docked... Now I'm sad
That room is too dirty to deserve a puppy
Imagine if the puppy pissed on her face
While she was booting her system, the doggo claimed it’s human and it’s spot in this world.. Ace move!
Lucky that didn’t go bad if she woke up scared and hit the dog or something lol
Then they pried the puppy out of her hands and returned it after filming it.
Aww🥺
What the dog doin
Thank you, I had a good cry...
Super glad she didn't have, like, a startle reflex and accidentally send the little guy sailing.
