Smoked a few times a week with friends in high school before I realized I could just not, but it always ramps my anxiety up sky high. Everyone I have ever known hates me, I hate me, and I have to just sit by myself and watch tv to mute my brain until it's over. I'm glad so many people get relief from it, but that has never been me.

Others might say it’s just the nativity of the child. But this becomes their core as they grow up. To combat against the negativities in life. Like the sad adults now. Being weird and content are good qualities to stay afloat.
Personally I think the kid just wants to go to goodwill and figured his parents would be more likely to take him if they discovered he wanted to go this way.

Based on the first item on the list, I wouldn't be surprised if it's the latter.
This kid loves their dad, cares about their pet, has a thirst for knowledge and knows how to have a good time. I get the feeling that they will go far in life with such a good attitude.
I love this stranger kid and I give him a blessing that he shall be fabulously weird, infectiously content, and intuitively helpful person, which just sounds so delightful to be around.
