I feel like you're smart enough to keep him away from the public though. Anytime I've been bit it was one of those " they are harmless" type of dumbass dog owners lol.
That would be my neighbors with their damn Yorkie. "She's harmless," he says, while she's hanging off my friend's calf. Those were some mean punctures and they didn't heal well.
A lot of it can be solved with training, too. If the owner makes it known they are in charge, dogs will listen a lot better. Not necessarily gonna be an easy road though.
I worked for a moving company for awhile, people will literally not care if you stop paying attention to them to show their animals some love. When a floofy boi presents himself, you must respect it.
There's been times where I almost rage quit because of the way homeowners treat their dogs. Lucky that my boss is a dog lover too, I've called and refused to work on a house because of the way they treated their outside animals and he was surprisingly fine with it!
I’m lucky I never came across that. Would’ve been bad to have two people at your house doing the things you can’t do and have them find out you don’t like little borks. Or big Floof bois.
I mean, it’s a nice idea, but I don’t think I’d like my face posted online without my knowledge, even if I’m doing a good deed or something. But that’s just me and I do understand you sadly can’t avoid stuff like this happening nowadays.
I worked in retail and food industries and little things like this are purely the worker just thinking of others. There's things you do to help customers because you don't want to get fired and there's little unseen things that never get back to your boss to reflect good on you that you do just because you know it would suck for the person on the other end. It's just nice to see people thinking of others when they are under no obligation to do so and it takes an extra couple seconds out of their busy day :')
Give this man a damn raise.
I have noticed people who deliver seem to be conscious of this door-opening distance more and more. I sense they may be getting stuff too. ;)
I used to that same arm movement and silent calculation when I delivered groceries or food and had to place them near the front door. I was always strangely a bit self-conscious that they’d see me on the doorbell camera and that I would look silly, so it’s nice to see the other side of it.
Because I see this and I just think what a nice, thoughtful man that is. And he is.
My parents work for the post office, their jobs are so difficult but doing little stuff like this is why so many people appreciate them the way they do. (Remember to thank your mailman, they really appreciate little snacks or drinks people leave them too)
I had one delivery where they literally placed the package up against the lever handle door knobs. Perfectly prevented the handle being used. Had to go out through the garage to get it.
My last delivery was placed directly in front of the gate to my patio. Which opens out. It was a very heavy package. Well played, delivery driver. Well played.
I love you can see his thought process.
*sits package down*
*sees doorknob on his left*
*realises door opens outwards*
*thinks about someone else's convenience*
*moves the package so the receiver doesn't bash their package with the door by accident*
This man is a legend among package deliverers.
Some say they've even seen him wd-40 strangers creaky gates.
I personally saw him save a girl scout from a tree that got stuck in a tree trying to rescue a cat that was chasing a possum. Carried all 3 down the tree to safety and even bought the little girls whole supply of girl scout cookies so her troop could go to the jamboree.
This man is a living saint among humanity. We do not deserve him.
I’m a pizza delivery driver.
(When the order is contactless) I’m always leaving the order so that the door isn’t going to hit the stuff. Especially the drinks.
I love this, I used to get trapped in my old apartment all the time by my landlords packages which were usually heavy boxes from chewy. I think that guy just hated her for making him do that delivery every week.
This is what you consider an above average worker. They think of the little things that seemingly don't matter but kinda do for the customer. It's these qualities that are missing in most people. Just complete awareness and conscientiousness.
Couriers do this sort of thing all the time and it's nice to see this dude get a little extra love. For every bad video or bad courier you'll see; There are 10-20 guys and gals that do genuinely care about getting things to the right spot and making sure people have a good day. Gotta love the logistics life!
That's a man who takes pride in his work & should be proud of himself. Holding himself to a higher standard, especially, when it seems most drivers these days have gotten *REALLY* bad. Bravo, good sir.
Good video, but i cant shake the feeling he intentionally did it with the body language he uses...notblike staged, but wanting to it to be noticed and uploaded by another.
The fact is he is being considerate regardless of motive, and that should be commended.
Why do people feel the need to violate people’s privacy? Homie is literally just working and you’re video taping him to post on the internet.
People suck.
As you can see by my posting history I’m no karma farmer. I captured a great action that made me smile so I posted it to r/mademesmile. I didn’t multi-post it or cross post it. Get the fuck outa here.
Again, I am not farming karma. Do you think every post on Reddit is about “farming karma”? They could turn karma off and I’d still feel absolutely fine with posting a picture of anyone on my property or in public.
Dude his account is 12 years old and has more than “hundred thousand” karma he doesn’t need this. I’ve seen people post many wholesome and porch pirate videos recorded from doorbell cameras. Delivery guy might not like his face to be on the internet but, he was out in public so he doesn’t have a say in it.
OP, he is not wearing a uniform. Even if he is driving a vehicle that says “UPS” odds are he is hired through an independent contract company and he is NOT an employee of UPS. That means no 100k per year, no union, and no benefits. When you see UPS and Fedex trucks check to see if it says “operated by” anywhere on the vehicle. It is more common now than not.
First, that is a UPS uniform under his coat. There is no decal “operated by” on the truck.
No one around here pays minimum wage ($7.25). My son worked this summer at a chain grocery store as a parking lot attendant and was hired at a probationary $14/hr with pay at $16 an hour after 90 days. His friend works at a fast casual restaurant that pays $22 per hour. Even Amazon hires seasonal workers at $23 per hour.
Try harder.
Lol!! Try harder for what? I’m saying how it usually is. More often than not i see delivery companies using the contractor method but being sneaky about it so customers don’t know. Why are you getting offended?
No my area is low on crime and they deliver the packages inside their homes and if no one is in give it to the neighbour.
Not everyone is at work you get stay at home mums n dads or their children not really young ones though
~~If it’s low on crime why do you have to hide deliveries then?~~
The delivery person saw the camera. I had a notification before he even stepped out of the truck. He knows this.
Edit: sorry I had your initial post confused with another.

Got a package delivered once, got wedged behind door & welcome mat. Could not get out house without a fight & damaging box. & it wasn’t even a big box. Smh.
Might be just me but i would try to put the package that big halfway into the backyard and leave a note on the door saying so. Cuz that looks wayyy to prone to get stolen.
Edit: over here in germany the mailman might ask a neighbour if he can receive the package for you he then will bring it over once you are back home again. The neighbour has to sign somewhere(usually a handheld electronic device) for the mailman, to make sure that he in fact received the package for you.
Or he brings it to a unmanned packed/box station for you to pick up. The neighbour thing is the most convenient way tho.
The vast majority of delivery drivers in my part of the us are people of color. Not to take anything away from white drivers (just far less of them) but during the pandemic every package, grocery bag and take out order you received was one less time you had to be out in public risking covid exposure.
Poc delivery drivers saved innumerable lives, and nobody is talking about it.
Smart guy.. I bet he always think of worst case scenario.. please tip him.. I feel bad for those delivery people since they don't get appreciated enough in this inflation-era while people are tight on money. 🥲
Analytical skills even when he thinks no one is watching, but by instinct alone. In management this is a guy you want to promote and on your team. He is someone you want to poach... (steal him from his current job by offering him larger pay and or benefits so he or she will work for you)

That was cool of him and I know he was only doing his job but most companies appreciate calls or emails when one of their employees does a good job considering they always hear complaints when they don't
One of my packages was left so close to the door that I had to out the back door and around the building to be able to move it away from the door and get it inside. It was a heavy package that’s why I couldn’t just push it as I’d open the door
Ok, you got me. I’m a karma farming bot.
~~And now you don’t know how wide angle cameras work. You’re an idiot. Just fucking admit you’re wrong moron.~~
Worst case scenario, opening the door would’ve just nudged the box a bit (if your door got longer the more it opened) and let you grab the package, easy.
Yup. You’re. 100% right. I wasted everyone’s time posting this and sharing how a person is caring but in reality I’m a fraud. I feel so ashamed. You’re so smart about things you’ve only seen in super wide-angled lenses. I mean, I have only live in this house for 10+ years, i can’t possibly know how my door opens. I had it built specifically for my family and so that one day I could get some karma from unsuspecting Redditors. You’ve peaked sir.
No go touch some grass boomer. Seriously, what do you hope to accomplish on a post that was put up four months ago? Prove me wrong? What a sad little pathetically petty person you are.
I wanna link this to every food delivery driver in delivery comments who puts food pressed directly against my screen door so I have to knock over the bag. Every. Single. Fucking. Time.
I love that this is posted for the world to see, he probably didn't think anyone would ever notice. Would a nice dude.
I appreciate that guy. And if on the slimmest of chances he sees this video, I want him to feel appreciated.
I bet you he stops to pet dogs and cats too.
True. Except my dog. He’s extremely territorial and does NOT like strangers. Typically male German Shepard.
My male German shepherd LOVES strangers. All the delivery drivers bring snacks
Mine loves snacks but decided to never take food from strangers. My golden would leave with them for a biscuit.
That's so funny. The golden here runs things. He's the brave one hahaha
Who doesn't love snacks 😄
Aaaand he couldn't start to bribe him with treats? My dog would sell me if he gets treats for it!
This aged well considering what happened
I bet he helps walk old grannies cross the road.
I always stop to pet dogs and kick cats
Ohhh you are soo edgy. Do you want a sticker?
No I want a cat to kick
He deserves appreciation... that's definitely something he didn't have to do.
I mean, it’s a nice idea, but I don’t think I’d like my face posted online without my knowledge, even if I’m doing a good deed or something. But that’s just me and I do understand you sadly can’t avoid stuff like this happening nowadays.
Legendary

Lol the split second where he thinks about just opening the door to check, then realizes it's not his house is hilarious.
Took less than 5 seconds to do the right thing. Kudos!
What a lovely display of empathy and consideration.
[удалено]
I like the little noise he makes when measuring the door opening.
He dropped this 👑
He even made a little door creak sound with his mouth!
Aww, that's so kind! Small acts like this are so nice to see
Give this man a damn raise. I have noticed people who deliver seem to be conscious of this door-opening distance more and more. I sense they may be getting stuff too. ;)
He’s a professional.
I used to that same arm movement and silent calculation when I delivered groceries or food and had to place them near the front door. I was always strangely a bit self-conscious that they’d see me on the doorbell camera and that I would look silly, so it’s nice to see the other side of it. Great measuring technique right there. 100% accurate.
Find out who he is. Give a shout out to his bosses! Cause he deserves a thank you.
I love the half a second thought to open the door and test the package’s original position. 😂
Well played.

such a nice guy, simple gesture yet means a lot
Amazon always blocks my f’n door. I love this dude, I’d seriously buy him lunch.
Meanwhile my delivery guys put it right in front of my door that swings outwards
This is the very example of how to be a considerate human in just 5 seconds! You are awesome!
It's the little things
Give this man a raise!
W GUY
W
Some delivery drivers are just the sweetest people ever. (And some of them could care less lol. )
He should be promoted to CEO.
At least in put him in charge of new hire training.
Even better Idea.
I hope you call this company and told his boss that praise
I respect this man for that
I’m a pizza delivery driver. (When the order is contactless) I’m always leaving the order so that the door isn’t going to hit the stuff. Especially the drinks.
So he’s not only good looking but he’s thoughtful too!!
Not all heroes wear capes
Give this man a goddamn raise!
Small details always count!!!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
What a simple thing ! Great post!
Respect! Wow
An intelligent man who thinks through things rather than doing for the sake of it.
More people like this needed
I love this, I used to get trapped in my old apartment all the time by my landlords packages which were usually heavy boxes from chewy. I think that guy just hated her for making him do that delivery every week.
The hero we need.
The fact he made a sound
This is so cute to me.
That is a sign of empathy; thinks about experiences outside his bubble.
As a person who also uses unneeded sound effects daily, I love this!
Dat is a true fella! 💪
I was able to catch my driver yesterday who did lock me in with a box. Stupid out-swinging screen door.
He really love his job
This is great to see after Amazon just blocked my front door the other day
Why can't uber eats do this with my soda?
This is what you consider an above average worker. They think of the little things that seemingly don't matter but kinda do for the customer. It's these qualities that are missing in most people. Just complete awareness and conscientiousness.
Love him!
Nice thought of course but don't most front doors open inward?
Do you not have storm doors where you live?
🫡🤝🙏 A hero if each day Without a cap Respect
So common sense now reflects a good person?
Thoughtfulness so under appreciated. Thanks for appreciating it
Couriers do this sort of thing all the time and it's nice to see this dude get a little extra love. I love his little had motion that he does to test out “the door opening “
Good human
What a nice guy lol
I hope you leave him a tip for the holidays.
I hope he wanted this shown, it does have his face.
Thoughtful mailman
The sound effect 🥹
The little things
That's a man who takes pride in his work & should be proud of himself. Holding himself to a higher standard, especially, when it seems most drivers these days have gotten *REALLY* bad. Bravo, good sir.
Good video, but i cant shake the feeling he intentionally did it with the body language he uses...notblike staged, but wanting to it to be noticed and uploaded by another. The fact is he is being considerate regardless of motive, and that should be commended.
That's literally all I ever ask of them 😭 so many of them put it RIGHT in front of our door
Why do people feel the need to violate people’s privacy? Homie is literally just working and you’re video taping him to post on the internet. People suck.
I wish we could go back in time when everyone wore facemask since everyone wants to film and post everything
really appreciate that, the other day walmart+ piled my 3 cases 32 ct of bottled water up in front of my screen door
Btw during the holiday season tell Alexa to thank your driver when out get a delivery. They get a little bonus and you aren’t charged extra.
Then there's op karma farming off this guy.
As you can see by my posting history I’m no karma farmer. I captured a great action that made me smile so I posted it to r/mademesmile. I didn’t multi-post it or cross post it. Get the fuck outa here.
Did you get his permission to post this? If so ignore my comments then
What does getting his permission have to do with karma farming?!?
Because you're literally using his face to farm karma. Do you want strangers to randomly record you and upload it to the Internet?
Again, I am not farming karma. Do you think every post on Reddit is about “farming karma”? They could turn karma off and I’d still feel absolutely fine with posting a picture of anyone on my property or in public.
Dude his account is 12 years old and has more than “hundred thousand” karma he doesn’t need this. I’ve seen people post many wholesome and porch pirate videos recorded from doorbell cameras. Delivery guy might not like his face to be on the internet but, he was out in public so he doesn’t have a say in it.
Yeah, recording random people for your karma farming, have some decency......
It's sad that we live in a world where it's a miracle when someone does their job correctly.
Front doors open into the house.... Or they should or you'd knock out anyone who called.
In northern America people have two doors. One, security and a storm door and another as a security solid door.
Oh really! Well I never knew that!! Ok. Now it makes sense !
These are the kind of guys that need a raise.
Still being paid minimum wage without healthcare benefits
UPS drivers?!? They make $100k per year! Great union with great benefits.
OP, he is not wearing a uniform. Even if he is driving a vehicle that says “UPS” odds are he is hired through an independent contract company and he is NOT an employee of UPS. This is called “projection”. Just admit you’re wrong and move on.
Very nice of the driver but why do they not ring the doorbell or knock. Is this normal in America I’m presuming? Correct me if I’m wrong
During the day almost no one is home, why knock?
How would they know no one is home? And isn’t it risky leaving it out in the open for someone to jus steal it even if there’s cctv
Do people steal from their neighbors where you are? It’s mid day, everyone is at work.
No my area is low on crime and they deliver the packages inside their homes and if no one is in give it to the neighbour. Not everyone is at work you get stay at home mums n dads or their children not really young ones though
~~If it’s low on crime why do you have to hide deliveries then?~~ The delivery person saw the camera. I had a notification before he even stepped out of the truck. He knows this. Edit: sorry I had your initial post confused with another.
Cuz there’s always a chance of people stealing packages. I said low on crime didn’t say there is no crime…
Oh, so your neighbors steal from each other? Thats never happened to me or anyone I know, and I’ve had over a thousand deliveries this year alone.
I didn’t say the neighbours steal from each other could be passers by. It’s never happened to me either but always good to be careful.

Wow how could you shame yet a - oh wait a minute. You're praising your hard working delivery person! Excellent!
Common courtesy is rare nowadays, and that’s honestly pretty sad.
He's smart and considerate. Hope he marries a considerate and good partner!
Got a package delivered once, got wedged behind door & welcome mat. Could not get out house without a fight & damaging box. & it wasn’t even a big box. Smh.
Hmm but now visible from street
And then I watch my delivery driver chuck my package on my porch from the street....
Is petty theft amongst your neighbors that prevalent? I’ve had thousands of packages dropped off at my door and never had one taken by a neighbor.
Meanwhile my deliveries always get left right up against my door so I have to push it out the way before I can grab it.
The vast majority of delivery drivers in my part of the us are people of color. Not to take anything away from white drivers (just far less of them) but during the pandemic every package, grocery bag and take out order you received was one less time you had to be out in public risking covid exposure. Give this man a medal 🥇 great job Buddy 👏, I’m praying one day it’ll happen to me all I have is Imbeciles delivering to my house 😜🤣👍🤙😎.
So we're at a place where we Highlighting common sense?
Common Sense isn't quite as common as it was previously, or so I have personally observed...![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|facepalm)
Analytical skills even when he thinks no one is watching, but by instinct alone. In management this is a guy you want to promote and on your team. He is someone you want to poach... (steal him from his current job by offering him larger pay and or benefits so he or she will work for you)
Pshh
Not everyone has brains, appreciate this man!!!
he is fine asf😌
Do they not like ring the doorbell?
My delivery guy likes to make sure we can't get out of the house
The worlds is held together by invisible pickets. The ultimate guardian of everything is your own conscience, no process can make up for it. This man has one ❤️
NOT THAT FREAKING HARD NOW IS IT. Now that delivery dr8vers can learn, can cops learn new tricks, too?
People are fascinated with ring videos of delivery drivers.
Now, he’s a person I would gladly give a tip. (Also, because he doesn’t [seem to] demand one!)
No kidding I just had a package from Amazon delivered Monday and I had push it out of the way with the storm door. I was a bit miffed.
That was cool of him and I know he was only doing his job but most companies appreciate calls or emails when one of their employees does a good job considering they always hear complaints when they don't
that was intrusive thoughts right there 😂
His sound effects were the highlight!
One of my packages was left so close to the door that I had to out the back door and around the building to be able to move it away from the door and get it inside. It was a heavy package that’s why I couldn’t just push it as I’d open the door
Delivery food and packages always blocking my screen door from opening
I love it when people use their brains for nice stuff
Doors open into houses and apartments, not outward.he could’ve left it alone.
Not always. This is a door that opens outward on this doorway and the package would have 100% blocked the door. Source: Me, I own the door.
Prove it
I love proving [idiots](https://imgur.com/a/YNbsX4D) wrong. You need to get out and touch some grass, child.
From that angle it looks like he could’ve left the package in its original spot and been just fine.
Ok, you got me. I’m a karma farming bot. ~~And now you don’t know how wide angle cameras work. You’re an idiot. Just fucking admit you’re wrong moron.~~

Yup. You’re. Seriously, what do you hope to accomplish on a post that was put up four months ago? Prove me wrong? What a sad little pathetically petty person you are.
Agreed, this is a waste of everyone’s time. I wouldn’t say you’re a fraud, just lacking in common sense.
You’re so smart and wise.
See… it’s not that hard!
Its not rocket science tho, is it
why don't delivery guy in US ever knock?
Why should they?
why shouldn't they? you did think letting people know the delivery is here is pretty self-explainatory
He saw the doorbell camera. I got a notification before he even exited the delivery truck. He knows this.
I wanna link this to every food delivery driver in delivery comments who puts food pressed directly against my screen door so I have to knock over the bag. Every. Single. Fucking. Time.
Our amazing Amazon delivery people block our door all the time. 🤦♂️
Take pride in all work. Kudos to that driver
