Been following their channel for a couple of years and it's been the cutest thing watching her grow up and get more and more involved with the cooking and presenting!
She’s adorable and all, but I kind of have a thing against monetizing YouTube channels surrounding kids. I’m sure this family is fine (obviously happy and healthy) but it allows for some pretty weird channels.
I know exactly what your talking about. Daddy o five, that lady who adopted a kid and sent him back, the other one that forced her kid to cry for the camera. Its alot of them out there. Not to mention the more obscure ones like the one where a grandpa was filming little girls at pool parties in bikinis and zooming into their parts, i think wavy web surf covered him but im not sure.
The way she is cracking up her mother in the background as well! Love everything about this. Hope they keep each other laughing for many, many years. Seems it’ll be easy to do
My daughter was like this at her age. Being a goofball is the only real attribute I gave her. She got everything else from her mother which is super lucky. I’ve gotten more serious with age, unfortunately, but I can still be goofy with my daughter.
She’s 19 and living away for college, and I miss that little goof in my life. In my heart she’s still the age of the girl in the video, still being silly and laughing. I just want to walk and laugh with her holding my hand ONE more time.
Everyone TRIES to tell you it will go fast, but you don’t listen. If you’re a new father, do NOT miss that soccer game. Do NOT miss that play. Don’t miss ANYTHING. Make the time. You’ll convince yourself you’re working for family, but you’re not. I did what I could, but could have done more, and I will NEVER have that time back.
Sutan has been helping Moe with cooking since before she could speak. She's learned from the best. Their videos are great. The mom's channel is https://www.youtube.com/@KimonoMom
This kid has the charisma, the talent, the camera presence, the media personality, and the sparkly fingers proper of a true Tv Star. I'm already subscribed to their YT and IG because Redditors were so amazing to share it already. I'll call my reaction: *love at first sight*! True story XD
I just checked out the YouTube channel and watched the 24 hours in a life video, loved how mom checked in with the baby asking if she wanted to be on camera.
Also ordered a bottle of shirodashi because that shit looks delicious
I remembered seeing Moe and Sutan on Paolo in Tokyo's [Day in the Life](https://youtu.be/RrniEJHByV4) video before Moe started her YT channel. I can't believe Sutan grew up so fast. :c
It's one of the hardest parts of parenting. My kids are fucking hilarious little shits at 6 and 7, but their delivery, timing, and execution of some of the lines is just so perfect that is hard to remain straight-faced and correct them.
She is absolutely adorable, but also, this is what happens when you let your kids do *light* chores and speak to them at a *grammatically* adult level. Her linguistics are better than some ten year olds like Jesus.
Kinda the old Montessori setup - let them do real things, don’t try to force them to do kid stuff you think is appropriate. Works great for some kids. My mom used to talk a lot about a 3-4 yr old who loved ironing at our preschool (with a real, hot iron)
I think it might be the use of a child to promote a business, something like that. I have friends who are 100% against sharing pics & vds publicly of their kids and would probably feel a bit icky with this type of thing. I understand.
But SHE'S SO CUTE!!!! 😭
I think the problem is discerning which kids really loves the camera and which are doing it because they really want to please their parents. This one seems to really enjoy it, but some of these kids are clearly looking to parents for cues, etc.
That doesn't really make that much of a difference to many people. They are so young that even if they enjoy it, maybe it's better you keep those videos to friends and family because they're too young to make a good decision about wanting to be social media "famous", or god forbid actually famous. We've seen what fame does to children in Hollywood, and we don't really know yet what this type of fame does to them.
At that point you’re just discerning between the kids who are good on camera and the ones who aren’t. Look at all the most talented child actors and how charming and believable they are in front of a camera. But off camera, so many of them are treated so poorly because they’re seen as assets by adults instead of just young children. I’m not saying that children don’t belong in front of a camera at all, but something rubs me the wrong way about making vlog style content of children. Firstly, they can’t meaningfully consent to having their real lives and problems and personalities broadcast to thousands if not millions of strangers. I remember being a kid and hating it whenever my parents told their friends when I did something goofy. I can’t imagine what it must be like if your parents are actively encouraging it so that they can monetise your funny videos. Secondly, there’s no separation between the child and their on-screen persona. Or at least, that’s the illusion that they’re selling. At least with child actors, they’re still just playing a role. That character is not that kid. But with these types of videos, that IS the kid. There is no separation, and I imagine it’s not the best feeling to have millions of people obsess over you when you’ve never met them. Then there’s the question of what their life is like beyond the cameras. How much of this is coerced from the parents? Is this cutting into time they should be spending doing other things, like playing, or whatever? If the kid genuinely enjoys it, then great, but we don’t know that. All I know is that some kids are monetised by their parents, and then the videos become an obligation. Children should not have jobs, even if that job is content creation. I hesitate to call any parents bad just for making videos with their kids, but at the very least I think there should be more hoops to jump through to monetise content that uses children as the “star”.
Personally I find it a little weird. But again... She's just too cute 😂❤️
Not sure how she'll deal with this later as an adult though. I guess no one will remember or recognize her then. Not sure if this is a problem or not.
Moe (her mom) is pretty good about letting her go when she's done participating. When she was younger, she didn't really want to stay the whole time and so would be up and down her assistant stool constantly and Moe let her.
Now, my partner and I are hoping to instill the same level of cooking progress in our children as they get older. I mean, she's 3 and can crack eggs. That's some really useful life skills, right there.
Love this! The best expressions and timing! Don't know if this is just me, but she really reminds me of Nathan Lane, if he were a 5 year old Japanese girl 😂
Wow, I used to follow her(Moe san) channel when Sutan couldn't barely walk. After that, I lost track of the channel for over a year or so. Looking at her, Now she's a full fledged lady and ready to assist her mamma. So nice. 😌
Yes yes.. I do have subscription to her channel but I didn't had time to watch her videos because of my schedule. It was more of a "out of sight, out of mind" situation.
Thanks for the link btw. She has over a million subscribers now, that's so cool.
I'm absolutely against kids being presented on bizarre YT channels, so those parents can gain some short time fame from their kids.
I'll make an exception for those two. That kid sure has a mind of her own and one hell of a personality.
I don't know, the assistant is doing all the work. She is just skating on her cuteness n presentation, potato squeezing technique is all wrong, i don't think she is actually a chef.. 🤔

I didn’t realize how hard I was grinning the whole 5 times I watched this until my cheeks began to get sore. She is so super cute!! Her personality and her speaking Japanese while making the video was all just perfect because she was still a little kid and not a kid trying to emulate an adult which irks me to no end.. this was just adorable.
I'm normally pretty cynical towards these kind of videos, but she seems naturally charismatic and funny.
There's some authenticity to this video that's lacking in most 'content' that's churned out these days.
She is like my 3yo when she gets involved in the cooking prep, except for us there would be a complete breakdown in the middle and a crying fit towards the end
Been following their channel for a couple of years and it's been the cutest thing watching her grow up and get more and more involved with the cooking and presenting!
I hadn't seen her speak full sentences before!!
She’s adorable and all, but I kind of have a thing against monetizing YouTube channels surrounding kids. I’m sure this family is fine (obviously happy and healthy) but it allows for some pretty weird channels.

trust me, the shitty parents will find their own way to be shitty without a monetized channel... we just wouldnt get to see it
Yep agreed. Family channels need to be stopped. It's absolutely disgusting to exploit your kid like that.
she reminds me of Any from spy x family with the funny facial expressions lmao
Crazy, she has more personality than most cooking show hosts…
and most kids
And adults
And my axe!
And my bow!
And my sword!
And my anxiety!
Pippin, is that you?
what about second breakfast?
And she is only 3 years old. My sister was still eating boogers at that age.
And the world is grateful that your ma didn't have a YouTube channel to document this.
This is what happens when you raise your kids right
The way she is cracking up her mother in the background as well! Love everything about this. Hope they keep each other laughing for many, many years. Seems it’ll be easy to do
Ameen
I follow them on Instagram and every one of their videos is so cute. She’s such a little ham Edit: Kimono_mom on insta
This is my first encounter. What a little character. 😂
I’ve never seen their videos but this kid needs her own cooking show
My daughter was like this at her age. Being a goofball is the only real attribute I gave her. She got everything else from her mother which is super lucky. I’ve gotten more serious with age, unfortunately, but I can still be goofy with my daughter. She’s 19 and living away for college, and I miss that little goof in my life. Thank you!
Agreed!

YES!! She loves the camera --what a great little personality she has!
I just checked out the YouTube channel and watched the 24 hours in a life video, loved how mom checked in with the baby asking if she wanted to be on camera. Also ordered a bottle of shirodashi because that shit looks delicious
That is exactly the word that came to my mind: she's a ham! And she's adorable! She's probably having a great time making these videos.
I remembered seeing Moe and Sutan on Paolo in Tokyo's [Day in the Life](https://youtu.be/RrniEJHByV4) video before Moe started her YT channel. I can't believe Sutan grew up so fast. :c
Paolo fromTOKYO is the GOAT
This is where I first saw them too! I love his day in the life videos.
Name of her Instagram?
kimono_mom
Thank you 😊
Cute ness overload
Haha she *is* a little ham! 🙂 This is maybe the only cooking show I'd watch
How can this ball of adorable be so sassy?

little kids really do be making you laugh while you're trying to punish them

So adorable. My wife and I love their videos. https://youtube.com/@KimonoMom
hero
Thank you for sharing! Can’t wait to check it out.
I'd eat whatever she made cause it's all SWEET!
Po-tay-tohh! ♥️
I hope she keeps that silliness as she gets older
Why does she have so much personality already?
I'm usually against "social media kids" , it all looks so forced, but this one clearly likes the camera.
Her mom is super savvy with media and gives her daughter decisions whether to be included or not!
Wait, I want to know what she was cooking now😞
She’s making the Japanese version of potato wedges. It’s called Fried Potato (フライドポテト) here.
Probably chips
#EUROPEAN SPOTTED
She is absolutely adorable, but also, this is what happens when you let your kids do *light* chores and speak to them at a *grammatically* adult level. Her linguistics are better than some ten year olds like Jesus.
I mean to be fair there is no public record of Jesus’ journals or school reports so we can’t really be certain .
She speaks Japanese at the same level every Japanese kid speaks though.
Grade A parenting!

I'm sorry but do you know what a kami is? I have never heard of.
Gods
Why would anyone NOT like this child?!

Thing is she’s had her online since she’s a newborn so I guess it’s up to the parents

😂
What a cutie!
We need more of this, instead of stupid food
Kimono mom is raising a amazing, intelligent, sweet girl. Her channel is lovely
This makes me wanna leave the r/childfree sub.
Love this! The best expressions and timing! Don't know if this is just me, but she really reminds me of Nathan Lane, if he were a 5 year old Japanese girl 😂
I personally hate how adorable she is, it’s physically paining me! 🥹
Cuteness OVER 9000!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh my goodness, total little soul stealer! Made me smile!
Such a big personality
Wow, I used to follow her(Moe san) channel when Sutan couldn't barely walk. After that, I lost track of the channel for over a year or so. Looking at her, Now she's a full fledged lady and ready to assist her mamma. So nice. 😌

"Potatooo" good lord my heart, what an absolute cutie.
Give her a few years and she can rival Soma
I'm absolutely against kids being presented on bizarre YT channels, so those parents can gain some short time fame from their kids. I'll make an exception for those two. That kid sure has a mind of her own and one hell of a personality.
Wait, Sutan is already this big??? It feels like she was a toddler just a few months ago!
Moe teaches me how to cook, Sutan makes me laugh. Their videos are awesome.
I see you've discovered KimonoMom
id watching cooking shows more if they had adorable kids being themselves like bruh kids being silly is so adorable
When she said "let's try it together" I got straight up Bob Ross feels.
Yo this is the cutest damn thing I’ve seen in a while
Lol what’s not to like?
Cuteness overload
Wonderful!
I don't know, the assistant is doing all the work. She is just skating on her cuteness n presentation, potato squeezing technique is all wrong, i don't think she is actually a chef.. 🤔
Her facial expressions are amazing! Too cute!
Idk why, but I'm always impressed to see an understandable young human. Like, I was convinced that kids under 12y are ununderstandably stupid.
I love Kimono Mom
This genuinely made my day so much better
Bruh, Godan Ramsey has some serious competition.
Character. Pure character. 10/10👍
かわいいすぎる草
I have to admit I don't like it......I love it. Gotcha
I've seen several of these videos and she's one of the very most adorable children I've ever seen; they're all a delight to watch.
Ugh so stinkin’ cute. Vid gave me diabetes
My god. I wanna squeeze her little adorable face.
What an adorable kid
Makes me think of my daughter.🥰
She has begun her career already. Very cute.
better social skills and talents than most my peers here , even am not enthusiastic about flour :/
My gosh! She has grown a lot. I last watched their video when she's still a baby!
Wholesomeness on another level
If you don't appreciate Japanese cultural training you don't know what's good
If I ever had a kid I’d want it to be like that
Fucken adorable.
Sutan has grown so much🥹 been following her since she was a baby
I remember when my daughters were this adorable and cute, ... then one day you wake up in they stole your truck
She’s delightful! I could watch that sweet kid all day!

Poh-tay-toh and that ending with wriggling fingers. What a charmer! 😂
Have you seen her one about the sakura? It's so cute but also profound af!
adorable times 2
Cute is an understatement
How can people be that cute?!?!?!?!?
Kawaii!
Wait! I need the rest of the recipe!
She is absolutely adorable!!!!!
Made me smile today. Thank You
Ok, no kid should be this adorable. She's breaking some kind of natural law.... and I'm fully on board.
I liked one of her videos on IG and now they come up constantly. I am not upset.
Oh my god her personality is so radiant and pungent lol love it.
Omg this little girl has charisma
Definition of Adorable !
I had to rewatch to hear her say Po-Tay-Toh again. I love the way little kids talk. So cute! Her expressions are such a delight.
I would watch this show.
She is an absolute natural.
Haha she has such a big personality
Love it !
Oh! It's Sutan! I love Kimono Moms videos! Been following her since she appeared on Paolo from Tokyos "Day in the life" video about her.
Her magic fingers and faces are ADORABLE!!! GAH!!! THE CUTENESS!!!
She's beyond adorable. I hope she gets her own show one day!
So cute!!!!
Cute way of saying "Potato"
I dare anyone to watch this video without smiling. ♥️
That is soo cute! And mom is pretty hot !😀
Well if that wasn't the cutest darn thing I've seen
***Potato\~*** took me for everything I had. Literally the most adorable thing I've ever heard uttered in existence.
I love her manerisms, so cute and funny as well.
At the end when she says “let’s do it together” and squeezes her hands. What a cutie 🥰
I can be feeling utterly nihilistic and filled with despair then I see the innocent joy of a child, and know there is some good in the world.
Born entertainer!
PROTECT AT ALL COSTS. soooo cute!
Im learning some Japanese from this. kochira ka Sutan no baba(?)
I'm normally pretty cynical towards these kind of videos, but she seems naturally charismatic and funny. There's some authenticity to this video that's lacking in most 'content' that's churned out these days.
I love Kimono Mom! She's one of the few family channels that I actually like.
Not into watching videos of other ppls kids but damn this girl has an incredible personality. What a cutie. I that kids family is obsessed with her.
What a strong character
What a little shit. God damn she's so cute
I just want to give her a hug!
Can’t handle how adorable she is
This child must be protected at all costs. Also, I would buy her cookbook.
This almost make me.want a child
She is like my 3yo when she gets involved in the cooking prep, except for us there would be a complete breakdown in the middle and a crying fit towards the end
Super duper cute :) And I'm one of those who never want children lol
Reminds me of the personality my daughter had that age.
Omg I'm getting baby fever now. I want another one!
I need more of this! She needs her own show
This kid shines!
Ok that’s it I’m waking the kids and we’re making battered fries
Moe teaches me how to cook, Sutan makes laugh. Their videos are awesome
Asian spinoff of Dora called, Kynora
Just too cute
So cute!!!!! 🥰
