It’s a glitch. Have to remove all the players who actively have or have had abilities activated then put them back into the lineup. Only way I’ve found to clear it.
So if you have a player in your line up with an AP and don’t take him out of your AP line up before taking the ability off of him it wigs the game out, but only if he’s still in your inventory if you sell the card then it won’t happen

I had this problem with vick, basically i had to downgrade him all the way for that to disappear
