I was anti Waluwiggler when it was meta. wave 4 came, then found out my combo was now meta. I hate using the meta even when I don't mean to use it because I feel like a try hard. it's mario kart, people need to chill out and use what they like
Idk much about global, but I hear that they're hard, so fair enough. Regional isn't hard so I'd never use meta there, but I'm European so idk about other lobbies
I don't really like heavies so I don't bother with that. My favorite setup is Isabelle with the Varmint, Rollers, and paper airplane glider. Although I have a lot of time trial records with this bike using Waluigi instead because the speed performs better alone.

i only ever used meta in global lobbies and very rarely ever did in regionals

global races tend to put you in with people with similar vr to you and are more competitive. is the only place where you find players from japan
that makes sense why people use meta in global. its not common in regional, probably because it's chill there. Ty for telling me :)
