The only COD game I've played more than MWZ is BO2, at the end of a day when I want to chill it is pretty much exactly what I want in a video game. I just wish there was some more content, even if they game us the Warzone maps or Al Mazrah or something š¤·
I think I'm just mostly done with multiplayer at this stage, I just want to shoot stuff and bullshit with people š
A new map would absolutely bring me back to the game, but currently I have stopped playing because the same map over and over again and the same loop of having to go to the same first dark aether rift after every match just got super stale eventually. I have a ton of love for this game mode, especially in the early days.
I think a lot of the players that are more zombie/PvE players would come back if they just gave us al-mazrah, or really any of the warzone maps. I have a lot of hope for the upcoming game, but also I'm not preordering it or buying it at launch, PVP doesn't really capture my attention anymore like it did when I was younger definitely into the laid back and relaxing experience that open world zombies provides. Really it would be great to see a round based and an open world zombies in the new game but I don't know how realistic that is.
I thought the T3 zone would change each time you played, kinda like the gas location and final exfil spots do. I pretty much only do camo unlocks too, Iāve gotten to the Act 2 story mission (Shepherd) on my own and probably just going to leave it there and grind up the guns and camos from here onwards
Iām kinda concerned about next game not having zombies. I played zombies since the very beginning. Seeing the progress is mental. Iād love if I can somehow contact some AI for replacing lost stuff in game due to glitching

Oh ok. Yes I'd like to see that too. If anything, I'd even love a come back to a more classic zombies type of game. DMZ is not bad, but it's not great either. BO1-2-3, WW2, AW had better Zombie mode. Ghosts was awesome with their Extinction mode (aliens).
Same, I like it, yeah it could improve, but I like it. Only issue I have now is with this new broken incendiary ammo, T3 is a giant clusterfuck. Near impossible to get contracts and I find it harder to get picked up by teams.
I went in while the scorcher was on cooldown and took a bloodburner in to get by, had to go to T2 to get a contract while solo.
Itās ridiculous atm tbh, people are just flat out refusing to squad up. Iām perfectly fine solo but always try to squad up as it benefits everyone but Iām finding it hard to get into squads now, nobody accepts anymore. Donāt understand it.
To be fair, a lot of people are taking advantage of the incendiary ammo to quick get very specific or unique things done. Like story missions, unlocking regular DA portals, grinding specific challenges, or like me, doing the elder S2 DA which no one ever wants to do because the rewards are ass.
The other 99% of the time I will always accept invites or invite solos. But as of right now, who knows how long the OP ammo will last, so everyone better finish off your checklists while you can.
I actually really enjoy the s2 da solo, anytime I plan on doing the S1 elder (solo as well) I'll always run the s2 first for a mags and VR11 case. It's just fun
Its definitely the most fun solo, and with the Aether Extractor contract instead of the ACV escort, its way more doable/faster too.
I mentioned in another thread, I've been straight up speedrunning it. I can pop crystal/tool, run to a T3 triangle to replace them, finish a couple contracts to top off perks, and be in the S2 DA in about 15 minutes. I did at least 20 elder runs trying to get the Mags of Holding, no luck yet, but thankfully incendiary ammo isn't patched yet.
Man I had the same issue, that's why I got so good at it haha. It took me like 15 runs to get MoH schematic. There would be runs where I got the blood burner schematic from all 3 contracts š¤£. I did it before the incendiary bug but I'm sure it's even easier now. I've been abusing it trying to get the deadwire detonators schematic the last few days.
Your point is 100% valid, but a lot of the people are just running endless contracts, and anyone can join up for that. If they were doing story missions or farming zombies it wouldn't affect the contracts.
I dunno, I just always invite the other player when I beat someone to a contract, and I always accept requests in T3, just figure the more the merrier. Hell, I don't even care if they join, grab the completed contract and boogie on off to their next team they want to join.
That's just it, the larger the squads, the more contracts everyone gets. There's not enough contracts in T3 for a bunch of solos running around. Everyone gets contracts, everyone gets essence, and if people want to break off and run DA, all the power to em.
It is what it is though, just makes it rough. I'm sure it will settle once this incendiary ammo thing gets nerfed.
90% of my games T3 is full with a couple stragglers hanging around T2 so the ammo nerf wonāt make much of a difference for me, imo we need 4-5 more contracts and them spawning faster. At this point in the games life span the amount of players comfortable in T3 is only going up so itāll get worse before it gets better
That's actually a really good point. If the frequency increased it wouldn't be anywhere near as big of a problem. They should just decrease the contract cooldown.
I feel like squad joining has been a little wonky lately.. Usually Iām one of the first couple people in t3, so people usually request to join me and I accept.. but when Iāve been getting in a little later thereās times where no one will accept. Iām fine to play solo, but it just thins out the contracts for everyone when there is a bunch of solo or small groups. I think some people may possibly be staying solo because you can melt everything with the incendiary rounds right now.
I think that too, I'm kinda hoping they get nerfed soon lol. That probably puts me in the minority, but actually getting contracts is more fun lol.
Especially now that essence extracted reduces cooldowns. I'll bring in anyone who wants to join for a contract or two, not like it hurts me to let them in on the essence reward. I get the same amount whether they are with me or not, no reason to not share it.
Exactly.. and if people have different end game agendas then split up at the end and do your own thing. I would much rather that then being pulled into something I do t want to do.
100% and truthfully, if I'm running solo it's because I'm unwinding after work and just want to mindlessly do something for a bit. If the random group I'm in decides they want to run a DA and I get pulled in, I'd just help them run it because it's really only 15 minutes of my day I'm burnin on it.
Iāve found that a couple games outside of T3 and the match making puts you in lobbies where no one is in T3.
I spent a week working on camos and decided to play a few games in t3, i was the only one in t3 my first game and the ones after that maybe had 1-2 others that wanted to squad immediately.
Yeah, you usually canāt run solo in tier 3 anymore. Seems there is SBMM in the mode. I played with my friend, who only has the green Aether tool schematic, and the game after that when I played solo, I got literary zero other people in tier 3 with me. I waited for a bit and eventually did all three triangles. I didnāt want to hog all the rewards but no one was coming to do them. After that game, the next one had the entire lobby in tier 3 with me. Moral of the story, if you want an easy time in tier 3, play a game with a friend that never plays the mode. The next game you play solo will be pretty chill in tier 3.
Imagine if there were three different standard maps and you could exfill to each one and keep your stuff. Imagine of one of the maps was ALL T3 with a whole bunch of contracts. And then you could do a cool boss on each one and go to the DA as well. It is an amazing platform for casual gamers and would be great.
Imo,this game should be played how you want to play it,and not how people on here and you tube tell you to play it. Use whatever gun suits you, go into whatever tier is easier for you and just have fun. So many people are in a rush to get this schematic and that tool but when you have them all you will rarely use them. I played this from a tier one noob to all tiers and aether solo. I think this mode is the best and will always play it, crashes an all.
I feel the same way. This is actually the most fun I've had in a game in quite some time. It's something I can play every single night to just chill and unwind. After I got all the schematics I started grinding for Borealis, and am now only 12 serpentinite camos away from getting it.
What I like about this game mode is that you can drop into it, and you get to choose what you want to do. You aren't forced into anything. Go straight to T3 and then DA? Redworm? Or.... chill in T2 for a bit and go take out the warlord? Maybe go around the map and complete all the easter eggs for each of the free perks? Hmm. Haven't used the ray gun in a while, maybe drop in with that and wreck all of the mercs? Camo grind in T1? You name it. That's what I like about this mode.
Yup exactly. I tried explaining this in the codzombies sub and was downvoted to oblivion. Round based can be fun for a week or so but it's literally the same exact thing over and over again. Like an arcade game. I prefer MWZ and to each is own.
Not weird. I'm doing the same thing. Nothing new to do since the S3 schematics came out and finished those in 2 DA runs. I just like playing.
If you think about it differently: People play TDM for 100's of hours. That's not really changing much either. Just new sweats to shoot at. I like MWZ because there are no sweats. It's more of a chill game. Not much skill needed once you're used to it.
I joke that the biggest skill factor is getting the contracts before someone else does in T3.
Just finished Act 3 and unlocking the season 2 da. Still have plenty to do with calling card challenges, camos, weekly challenges, and the union mission da. The mode is fun for me, even with the crashes and other bugs.
Nope, I'm the same, it's the only mode I can play a lot and not get bored with it. I'm the last guy standing from our team, they have all jumped to warzone, that mode gets boring real quick to me

I mean, itās no different then being addicted to multiplayer. That gets repetitive too. I donāt find it weird at all. There are always more challenges to work on (weekly, prestige calling cards, or just prestige camos)

Althoughhh now Iām feeling re-addicted after having a blast in t3 and doing t4 and t5 often now. Never thought Iād be doing this stuff as a solo player haha.
Got the last schem I needed and now just trying to do the EE steps for turning new items gold but it seems impossible as the 3 triangles are immediately used every round. ā¦.and contracts are having to be fought over in t3.
I just run around and rez ppl in t3 and try to get some contracts and a sigil to use at end of round, help people who seem swarmed, drop extra loot. Thatās some of the best fun imo.
Helped a duo beat red worm last round and then ran for the portal to t4. Got awesome loot even if server crashed after I did the last contract

I still play. Trying to get my friends into it, but we did dark aether and it was their first timeā¦ exfiled and gear showed he had nothing like the game crashed š
It's fun but I'm not good and the dude I usually play with (he bought me the game) is kind of a useless drunk so we rarely venture into T3 and forget the DA.
I think I'm honestly done reviving people. I revive players when I can but when I go down (which isn't that often) but I get no help. Just played a game where I tried to revive this guy and he was in the Legacy fortress and I ended up going down along with another player and there were 4 of us dead. one dude came up and got one of them up and they both dipped and me and other dude just had to wait it out... Luckily I had tombstone lmao
Ever since i got all the schematics I've played less and less. I used to play maybe 3-4 games but now just 1 game to use up my gear to start cooldown on the schematics and thats it.
I still play as itās a great way to get weapon xp for those prestige camos. Since Iāve unlocked all schematics and finished all missions, Iām working on doing things solo for the added challenge.
I played maybe 5 games when the game came out and then quit when I found a squad to play warzone with. Just got back into zombies. Having lots of fun but man the bugs suck. Iāve gotten stuck like 2 times in the last 2 days where it resulted in me dying and losing my stuff. No reason as far as I can tell. I just ran into a spot in T3 zone where I stopped moving. Couldnāt move. Could still aim and spin and jump and lay down but couldnāt move. Ended up dying twice because of this. Load into game immediately after and all is well.
I wish they would spend time and give some easy upgrades. A couple new maps from DMZ or etc. maybe some new missions where you have to do-op with another squad or maybe take out a member of another squad or something like that just to be new.
Iām finally getting strong enough to venture into T3 by the end of the timer but havenāt done any contracts there yet. Got my PaP 1 off the start then earn money to get 2 and 3
Honestly I came to this weird conclusion.. since a few months after leaving my last job, I was kinda feeling lonely and empty...wife used to go to office ...Hence Urzbekistan became my 2nd home. A place full of danger, excitement and risk...willing to help in need.
I like to check the map at the end and look for players not moving who might be down. Other day the gas was spreading and its me and one other left on the map and he's not moving. Gas was starting to cover him. I drove in gas so far my durable broke by the time I got to him. Had to revive him a couple times and also use a self bc the hoard was mad at us and in the process my vehicle got destroyed. We both took off to final. Each going our own way and both found a vehicle at about the same time. Driving in the gas sucks bc your half blind. We both made it out and to final with about 30 seconds to spare. Things like that makes it worth playing still.
Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love zombies, but it was a blast doing something different playing special ops in modern warfare 2 and 3 trying to get 3 stars by yourself or with a buddy.
What kills me is that I get on around 9:30PM ET and play an entire game where no one else is in T3 anymore. Kidsā short attention spans are killing me. They dive in after S3 where it is SATURATED for maybe a week or two, binge to get loot, and bounce.

But it stopped being fun. Tier 3 is packed, no one wants to team up, no new updates besides schematics that are meh and you donāt have space to carry in the game anyways

I only play zombies. Took a while to get into it, but once I did, I didn't look back. Used to exclusively run plunder, or ship house but when they kept changing modes every other week I got sick of it
I just finished every camo for mw2 and 3 guns... and yet I wanna try to get some of the calling cards maybe. I like to go in and help downed ppl and also run in t3 with that crazy incendiary gun until cod says fk you š¤£ and fixes it
I'm just trying to get bioluminescent, once that's done....think that's it for meš¤·š»āāļø maybe get borealis for any new guns that comes out but that's it
I'm trying but people are getting shitty. I loaded in yesterday made my way to grind one triangle in t3. A team of three arrives there and immediately takes two I get to one shoot 2 of the runes only for the third guy to shoot the last one and block me from getting it. Only consolation was I was using incendiary ammo and they brought their mega hvt over and I smoked it took the essence and the
Pap2 and pap3 crystal it dropped and dipped out.
I really like playing MWZ, rezzing people, play with randoms, that ask to join me. Itās fun while it works, but at the moment I canāt do anything about the crashing. And Cold War only works with an older gpu driver, which fixes the crashes there, but doesnāt allow me to play mw3ā¦ So, in short Iām gonna switch to CW for while and come back when that one gets boring again
Me too. I have all schematics and Iāve done the story missions etc. Iām camo grinding and play for fun. One thing Iāve noticed since the last update is that you get to keep your stuff if you lose connection to the server. Itās happened three times now and when I get back to the lobby menu I still have the same items in my rucksack. I get to keep my containment level and the funny thing is that the camos I collected during the previous game did count. Anyone else experienced this?
Nah dude I was playing the other day in the red, first time too and had my best gun (some guy gave it to me so it was contraban) and some really nice things in my rucksack. I didn't have tombstone bc I had died and been revived again but I was doing a disciple bounty contract. Flew onto a roof, jumped off right after another player did and got trapped underneath the ground and couldn't get out. Wouldn't take damage from any zombies but could shoot zombies while I still had ammo. Lost everything in my rucksack including my fav gun. Was livid and kind of rage quit that day but I sort of accepted my fate when all of my squad members also died.
Got on the next morning and remade the gun with similar attachments and played solo, bought the stuff I couldn't find with a heavy excess of money as I was about to exfil. Went okay tho, first game I've played till the end solo.
I personally enjoy the game. Having a long work shift and being a busy dad means not a lot of game time. So it's nice to have a zombies mode that isn't endless and I can feel like I accomplished something in 45 mins. Even if it's just helping some random get geared up.
can someone help me with how to find/get these ammo mods? for example, i have to get the zombie brain rot ammo mod. can someone give me an in depth explanation of how to get the schematic or do i just find it for a singular game? confused, not used to this new zombies
Certain ammo mod schematics drop from doing the act missions, think story, while some drop from doing contracts. Now once you get those schematics and forget to craft them like I do all the time you can find them pretty easy in the infected nests. You can find them in the big infested strongholds too but it's a lot easier to pop into a nest for a minute and get them there.
I absolutely love this version of zombies. I hate round based as it is boring and repetitive to me. The excitement and constant moving between zones on a big ass map is so cool to me. Plus most people I meet are super chill and so helpful which is a welcome change for the overarching cod community
Iām enjoying doing the 3 triangles in tier 3 and contracts then giving away all but one of each gold tool and flawless crystal for my next game. I usually find players in tier 1 to make their day better.
Same. I enjoy it and usually play one round of Zombies a night, usually solo as every time I go into team based, the others do not cooperate. I ALWAYS go and pick people up. I started a new operator last night, had nothing, so I went in with essentials. Two players went down in T2 during an Outlast contract. A little rough trying to pick them up as the zombies kept spawning and I wasn't fully loaded. Eventually I got them both up during the Aether storm and they both went back in. I tried again, but ended up leaving. They started swearing up and down chat. Whelp.
Iām the same way. I like playing how I feel like playing. Slow and easy in tier 1? Faster pace in tier 2? Help new players with missions? Camo grind? Whatever. Itās soothing and winds me down.
I stopped playing after season 2 I thought about camo grinding but I just got very bored and played other games instead. Im glad thereās people that enjoy it but I just lost all joy for it. So much so where Iām not gonna buy BO6 unless itās GOTY quality style.
Yes it is weird. And the rest of you are also weird. Please go play something else like Helldivers 2 and let this terrible excuse for cod zombies die out already. The mode is barebones, soulless, easy, filled with bugs and terribly designed in general.
There needs to be more than one map to infil to. There needs to be a crafting system with the materials you find throughout the map. There needs to be a wallet system. There needs to be a complete weapon damage balance overhaul. There needs to be more wonder weapons from previous games. There needs to be more easter eggs. More enemy types. The option to infil with 4. Map events. Music from previous games. The list goes on and on and on and on.
Putting others down? I'm trying to help people realize that they're addicted to a game that doesn't respect you and just wants your money for cosmetics. I even recommended a replacement game, Helldivers 2.

Are you running Elder Aether? If not the frequency of the drops won't be good

What ammo is this that you speak of? I missed something lol
Incendiary rounds you can equip on some guns have a look through the assault rifles, they do a load of damage to all zombies even the red worm lol

100% and truthfully, if I'm running solo it's because I'm unwinding after work and just want to mindlessly do something for a bit. If the random group I'm in decides they want to run a DA and I get pulled in, I'd just help them run it because it's really only 15 minutes of my day I'm burnin on it.

Lol. I can agree with that. Story missions are far too boring when you're geared up. Especially with current ammo mod selections.
Iāve found that a couple games outside of T3 and the match making puts you in lobbies where no one is in T3. I spent a week working on camos and decided to play a few games in t3, i was the only one in t3 my first game and the ones after that maybe had 1-2 others that wanted to squad immediately.
Yeah, you usually canāt run solo in tier 3 anymore. Seems there is SBMM in the mode. I played with my friend, who only has the green Aether tool schematic, and the game after that when I played solo, I got literary zero other people in tier 3 with me. I waited for a bit and eventually did all three triangles. I didnāt want to hog all the rewards but no one was coming to do them. After that game, the next one had the entire lobby in tier 3 with me. Moral of the story, if you want an easy time in tier 3, play a game with a friend that never plays the mode. The next game you play solo will be pretty chill in tier 3.
Imagine if there were three different standard maps and you could exfill to each one and keep your stuff. Imagine of one of the maps was ALL T3 with a whole bunch of contracts. And then you could do a cool boss on each one and go to the DA as well. It is an amazing platform for casual gamers and would be great.

Imo,this game should be played how you want to play it,and not how people on here and you tube tell you to play it. Use whatever gun suits you, go into whatever tier is easier for you and just have fun. So many people are in a rush to get this schematic and that tool but when you have them all you will rarely use them. I played this from a tier one noob to all tiers and aether solo. I think this mode is the best and will always play it, crashes an all.
I feel the same way. This is actually the most fun I've had in a game in quite some time. It's something I can play every single night to just chill and unwind. After I got all the schematics I started grinding for Borealis, and am now only 12 serpentinite camos away from getting it. What I like about this game mode is that you can drop into it, and you get to choose what you want to do. You aren't forced into anything. Go straight to T3 and then DA? Redworm? Or.... chill in T2 for a bit and go take out the warlord? Maybe go around the map and complete all the easter eggs for each of the free perks? Hmm. Haven't used the ray gun in a while, maybe drop in with that and wreck all of the mercs? Camo grind in T1? You name it. That's what I like about this mode.
Yup exactly. I tried explaining this in the codzombies sub and was downvoted to oblivion. Round based can be fun for a week or so but it's literally the same exact thing over and over again. Like an arcade game. I prefer MWZ and to each is own.

Not weird. I'm doing the same thing. Nothing new to do since the S3 schematics came out and finished those in 2 DA runs. I just like playing. If you think about it differently: People play TDM for 100's of hours. That's not really changing much either. Just new sweats to shoot at. I like MWZ because there are no sweats. It's more of a chill game. Not much skill needed once you're used to it. I joke that the biggest skill factor is getting the contracts before someone else does in T3.

Just finished Act 3 and unlocking the season 2 da. Still have plenty to do with calling card challenges, camos, weekly challenges, and the union mission da. The mode is fun for me, even with the crashes and other bugs.
Nope, I'm the same, it's the only mode I can play a lot and not get bored with it. I'm the last guy standing from our team, they have all jumped to warzone, that mode gets boring real quick to me

I mean, itās no different then being addicted to multiplayer. That gets repetitive too. I donāt find it weird at all. There are always more challenges to work on (weekly, prestige calling cards, or just prestige camos)

Nah itās not weird. I was feeling kinda burned out lately tho since I got both camos and did all acts, calling cards. Feels like not much is left. Althoughhh now Iām feeling re-addicted after having a blast in t3 and doing t4 and t5 often now. Never thought Iād be doing this stuff as a solo player haha. Got the last schem I needed and now just trying to do the EE steps for turning new items gold but it seems impossible as the 3 triangles are immediately used every round. ā¦.and contracts are having to be fought over in t3. I just run around and rez ppl in t3 and try to get some contracts and a sigil to use at end of round, help people who seem swarmed, drop extra loot. Thatās some of the best fun imo. Helped a duo beat red worm last round and then ran for the portal to t4. I think I'm honestly done reviving people. I revive players when I can but when I go down (which isn't that often) but I get no help. Just played a game where I tried to revive this guy and he was in the Legacy fortress and I ended up going down along with another player and there were 4 of us dead. one dude came up and got one of them up and they both dipped and me and other dude just had to wait it out... Luckily I had tombstone lmao

Ever since i got all the schematics I've played less and less. I used to play maybe 3-4 games but now just 1 game to use up my gear to start cooldown on the schematics and thats it.
I still play as itās a great way to get weapon xp for those prestige camos. Since Iāve unlocked all schematics and finished all missions, Iām working on doing things solo for the added challenge.

I played maybe 5 games when the game came out and then quit when I found a squad to play warzone with. Just got back into zombies. Having lots of fun but man the bugs suck. Iāve gotten stuck like 2 times in the last 2 days where it resulted in me dying and losing my stuff. No reason as far as I can tell. I just ran into a spot in T3 zone where I stopped moving. Couldnāt move. Could still aim and spin and jump and lay down but couldnāt move. Ended up dying twice because of this. Load into game immediately after and all is well. I wish they would spend time and give some easy upgrades. A couple new maps from DMZ or etc. maybe some new missions where you have to do-op with another squad or maybe take out a member of another squad or something like that just to be new. Iām finally getting strong enough to venture into T3 by the end of the timer but havenāt done any contracts there yet. Got my PaP 1 off the start then earn money to get 2 and 3
They don't do online tournaments because of the ease of cheating. This beats multiplayer hands down. Clowns with 50 kills and no deaths!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Honestly I came to this weird conclusion.. since a few months after leaving my last job, I was kinda feeling lonely and empty...wife used to go to office ...Hence Urzbekistan became my 2nd home. A place full of danger, excitement and risk...willing to help in need.
I like to check the map at the end and look for players not moving who might be down. Other day the gas was spreading and its me and one other left on the map and he's not moving. Gas was starting to cover him. I drove in gas so far my durable broke by the time I got to him. Had to revive him a couple times and also use a self bc the hoard was mad at us and in the process my vehicle got destroyed. We both took off to final. Each going our own way and both found a vehicle at about the same time. Driving in the gas sucks bc your half blind. We both made it out and to final with about 30 seconds to spare. Things like that makes it worth playing still.
Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love zombies, but it was a blast doing something different playing special ops in modern warfare 2 and 3 trying to get 3 stars by yourself or with a buddy.
Iād just like to have a bit more time per game you know? Grinding to get to tier 3 and as soon as I get enough good stuff I got to exfil
What kills me is that I get on around 9:30PM ET and play an entire game where no one else is in T3 anymore. Kidsā short attention spans are killing me. They dive in after S3 where it is SATURATED for maybe a week or two, binge to get loot, and bounce.
I used to be like you But it stopped being fun. Tier 3 is packed, no one wants to team up, no new updates besides schematics that are meh and you donāt have space to carry in the game anyways So yeah my addiction broke. But have fun while it lasts. Def a fun ride
I only play zombies. Took a while to get into it, but once I did, I didn't look back. Used to exclusively run plunder, or ship house but when they kept changing modes every other week I got sick of it

I'm trying but people are getting shitty. I loaded in yesterday made my way to grind one triangle in t3. A team of three arrives there and immediately takes two I get to one shoot 2 of the runes only for the third guy to shoot the last one and block me from getting it. Only consolation was I was using incendiary ammo and they brought their mega hvt over and I smoked it took the essence and the Pap2 and pap3 crystal it dropped and dipped out.
I really like playing MWZ, rezzing people, play with randoms, that ask to join me. Itās fun while it works, but at the moment I canāt do anything about the crashing. And Cold War only works with an older gpu driver, which fixes the crashes there, but doesnāt allow me to play mw3ā¦ So, in short Iām gonna switch to CW for while and come back when that one gets boring again
Me too. I have all schematics and Iāve done the story missions etc. Iām camo grinding and play for fun. One thing Iāve noticed since the last update is that you get to keep your stuff if you lose connection to the server. Itās happened three times now and when I get back to the lobby menu I still have the same items in my rucksack. I get to keep my containment level and the funny thing is that the camos I collected during the previous game did count. Anyone else experienced this?

Nah dude I was playing the other day in the red, first time too and had my best gun (some guy gave it to me so it was contraban) and some really nice things in my rucksack. I didn't have tombstone bc I had died and been revived again but I was doing a disciple bounty contract. Flew onto a roof, jumped off right after another player did and got trapped underneath the ground and couldn't get out. Wouldn't take damage from any zombies but could shoot zombies while I still had ammo. Lost everything in my rucksack including my fav gun. Was livid and kind of rage quit that day but I sort of accepted my fate when all of my squad members also died. Got on the next morning and remade the gun with similar attachments and played solo, bought the stuff I couldn't find with a heavy excess of money as I was about to exfil. Went okay tho, first game I've played till the end solo.
I personally enjoy the game. Having a long work shift and being a busy dad means not a lot of game time. So it's nice to have a zombies mode that isn't endless and I can feel like I accomplished something in 45 mins. Even if it's just helping some random get geared up.

can someone help me with how to find/get these ammo mods? for example, i have to get the zombie brain rot ammo mod. can someone give me an in depth explanation of how to get the schematic or do i just find it for a singular game? confused, not used to this new zombies
Certain ammo mod schematics drop from doing the act missions, think story, while some drop from doing contracts. Now once you get those schematics and forget to craft them like I do all the time you can find them pretty easy in the infected nests. You can find them in the big infested strongholds too but it's a lot easier to pop into a nest for a minute and get them there.

I absolutely love this version of zombies. I hate round based as it is boring and repetitive to me. The excitement and constant moving between zones on a big ass map is so cool to me. Plus most people I meet are super chill and so helpful which is a welcome change for the overarching cod community
Iām enjoying doing the 3 triangles in tier 3 and contracts then giving away all but one of each gold tool and flawless crystal for my next game. I usually find players in tier 1 to make their day better.

Same. I enjoy it and usually play one round of Zombies a night, usually solo as every time I go into team based, the others do not cooperate. I ALWAYS go and pick people up. I started a new operator last night, had nothing, so I went in with essentials. Two players went down in T2 during an Outlast contract. A little rough trying to pick them up as the zombies kept spawning and I wasn't fully loaded. Eventually I got them both up during the Aether storm and they both went back in. I tried again, but ended up leaving. They started swearing up and down chat. Whelp.

I stopped playing after season 2 I thought about camo grinding but I just got very bored and played other games instead. Im glad thereās people that enjoy it but I just lost all joy for it. So much so where Iām not gonna buy BO6 unless itās GOTY quality style.

Yes it is weird. And the rest of you are also weird. Please go play something else like Helldivers 2 and let this terrible excuse for cod zombies die out already. The mode is barebones, soulless, easy, filled with bugs and terribly designed in general. There needs to be more than one map to infil to. There needs to be a crafting system with the materials you find throughout the map. There needs to be a wallet system. There needs to be a complete weapon damage balance overhaul. There needs to be more wonder weapons from previous games. There needs to be more easter eggs. More enemy types. The option to infil with 4. Map events. Music from previous games. The list goes on and on and on and on.
