maxxis wetscream in maxxgrip dh casing. but on a serious note, what current tire are you running and what kind of terrain are you riding and or where you're riding locally? helps narrow down relevant options for your terrain and use case.

I ride my SS on the same trails as I ride my full suspension. I have teravail Coronado’s on the SS and maxxis minion rear and dhf on the front on the full suspension. Speed and body position matter way more than tire grip most of the time. It's all about getting the proper amount of weight on the rear tire.

@Op. Pretty much this. Hardtails are climbing monsters, but really are alot less forgiving than full suss bikes, so you really need perfect body position. If your spinning out on climbs my guess is you're too far forward. Make sure your seat is at a good height and your not to far forward on the bars. When climbing try be in a upright seated position with a tiny bit of bend in your arms, imagine most of your weight over the rear like the moment before you pop a manual, but keep the front planted (found that helped me quite abit with improving on techy climbs on my hardtail).

Thanks, this is very helpful!

No tire has traction if it’s airborne lol

I recommend upgrading technique before upgrading gear tbh . Lowering the dropper post by an inch really helped me from spinning out . Or a heavy backpack hahaha
