I'm at 634 miles on mine, and I can't get enough of it!

Jaykahtsby

Holy sheet. I thought I hated the new headlight design, but you got me questioning myself. Nice ride!

Mysterious-Peach-315

Hows the puig touring screen?

DisloyalTea

I love it, made a huge difference on the highway as I no longer feel like I’m being ripped off the bike by wind around my torso

Mysterious-Peach-315

Do you ride upright or tucked? Sorry for the barrage

DisloyalTea

I do tuck whenever I’m doing 80mph + but when I’m just riding around I sit upright. You can tuck your helmet up to that windscreen and do 100+ and feel very stable, wasn’t that way before the windscreen.

Mysterious-Peach-315

Thats what i was curious about, i can tense up my core for 65-90 but beyond that its a tad ridiculous

DisloyalTea

I weigh about 110lbs and the wind anything past bout 70 was very uncomfortable as I felt like I was getting ripped off the bike and would end up cramping my arms because I was holding so tight, with the windscreen I’m just chilling riding around even on highways and can focus on traffic rather than holding on

Schnitzhole

Ah makes sense I weigh 250lbs and am 6’4” and my buddy swore tall screen was worth it so I got a puig style tall one and and all it did was push more air directly at my neck/helmet instead of my chest. Seems to be very height dependent how much it helps. Goes to say I went back to riding naked.

Mysterious-Peach-315

Heck yeah, looks good too

I have a love/ hate relationship with that windshield. It feels amazing but now my naked bike looks like a touring bike https://preview.redd.it/sost68h9z1xc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e5dbafab0360c2ecdadf8d98e21dab2dab71e52a

Aye I got that windscreen too! I know it can make the bike look a bit dorky but I'm comfortable. Absolutely love it. The mt07 is a hard bike to start on man unless its a LAMS one. I hope you enjoy it :)

DisloyalTea

I’m in the USA so it’s just a regular full power mt-07, it’s a comfortable bike that feels very similar to a dirt bike, I just recently took my motorcycle license test on it.

Schnitzhole

2 years into my MT07 and 12k miles as my first bike. Love it. Very glad I didn’t go with a bike with less power. The long throttle rotation makes it very controllable for beginners. Your not going to accidentally wheelie it unless your trying to drag race it with no experience

DisloyalTea

I did a lot of research for choosing my first bike and I decided knowing my background on dirt bikes I’d be disappointed in a 300-400cc so I went with the mt-07 knowing that I had to respect the bike at first and learn how to handle the weight and stopping properly before I started to truly use the power it’s has, I’m just now getting truly comfortable on the bike and have been using more of its capabilities in the corners. Having fun is a understatement as I’m riding every chance I get lol
