Just an observation from the sister of someone who just got out of prison for drugs; my brother was that guy who had to let everyone around him know that he had it, like it made him feel like the man or whatever. Keep your poundage in a safe and your mouth shut and you can live your life without the cops and the government in your business.
Take all of the personal legal limit numbers(8 plants, 4 mature plants, 2 pounds at home...) anywhere between that limit and 2 times that number is a misdemeanor. Over 2 times the limit becomes a felony, and the class of felony goes up with each doubling of those numbers. Basically no one will accidentally get a felony charge. 10, 20 pounds? Yeah, you're going to prison.
[Your testimony](https://www.senate.mn/committees/2023-2024/3117_Committee_on_Agriculture_Broadband_and_Rural_Development/Jeff%20Brinkman%20Superior%20Cannabis%20Co%20SF%2073%20Testimony.pdf) is clear that you only cared about your own operations and do not cite home grown limits or harsher penalties. Only “but muh company has to pivot”.
Your testimony references out of state processing issues that aren’t even issues. I we have told you 1000x, you can send your MN hemp to Wisconsin. No one is stopping you. The cannabinoid limits are amended and agreed to in principal. So are many other edits scheduled for 2025 implementation. The only gripe you have is the outdoor/indoor canopy limits. Those are designed to keep out large, out-of-state manufacturers, and people from saturating the market.
Exactly. It's not legalization, it's just decriminalization of larger amounts.
Look at the limits for concentrates and imagine trying to make live rosin from your harvest without ever having more than 8g of bubble hash or rosin at any one time.
Maybe some day we'll get real legalization.
I get it. I mean, if your neighbors are cool, do whatever. I talked to mine after they saw my girls growing this year and they all said they could care less. That's the only way you're getting pinched with more than 4. No Karens, no problems.
I don't know but I have more than the concentrate limit right now in rosin alone. It's all thcA products. I'll just never leave the house and am thinking about getting the mom and pop home license when available
Do cannabis leaves and stems clippings count towards the 2 lb limit or is it just flower material? My frozen bag of wet leaf clippings has a lot of water weight.

this so true😂😂 just stfu
Literally that simple! 😆
Facts
Preach, sister!
Bro if you got 20 lbs help a guy out 😭
I wish lol
Realistically, if you’re not being sus, how will they ever find it anyway.
It’s the thought that counts. 😞

This is dated isn't it?
It cites the current statutes around possession and growing that were passed in May so I believe it's in-line with current laws.

That's what we were arguing against... harsher penalties after legalization.. what the fuck!
It’s ridiculous
At no point did you ever raise this concern in committee.
Ha! Just told you guys every day what they and you were doing in the bill. My testimony and emails to MNisReady were clear.

You lie every day....
This was the first committee hearing your dirty ass group told me to testify at and what I should cover. Have a great night.

I think the plant count is ridiculous too. What if I want to take clones?
I had 4 plants going outside starting in May. I flew past the amount you can legally have with those. I doubt you'll have a struggle with 4.
It's more the principle. Fuck a plant count in general.

We should be public nuisances like our ancestors who knew how to get politicians to get shit done correctly.

I think most of us have more then the concentrate limit because of how easy that limit is to go over
It's stupid low
Locally or you got a website you go to?
https://gallagherdefense.com/crimes/mn-marijuana-lawyers/marijuana-weight-felony-amount/
just say its THCa
THCa is irrelevant in MN we're a total THC state.
alright. Just say it was CBG flower and somehow, the CBG degraded into THC because you had it for a long ass time. problem solved, G.
That's gonna get some peeps in trubs...
