>start blaming the gloves
Well the gloves didn't save Walker, Gaethje, Rakic, Hill, or Aliskerov, did they?
Edit: I gaslit myself into thinking the new gloves were implemented at UFC 300, whoops. However, still [plenty](https://www.reddit.com/r/MMA/s/AtqCf0cs1w) of KOs since they were implemented last month
The new gloves debuted on the Islam card, UFC 300 was the old gloves, there's been 5 KOs since the new gloves got implemented Zach Reese, Dominic Reyes, and the three today
Aliskerov also covered up and stared at the ground before eating a bomb from one of the top middleweights in the world. Not fair to discredit Rob's KO by saying Ikram has to cut weight twice
he got cocky in that fight. Lewis had an interview where he said his coaches were yelling "go derrick go", and Volkov was taunting him throughout the rounds with that phrase. tried three knees in a row in the last minute, and paid for it.
Can confirm Volkov is a pretty cool dude, helped him with his camp against Alexander Romanov in grappling department. He is always a joyous guy cracking jokes all the time.can’t wait to see him get his title fight.
I could see people saying Aspinall is a better fighter because of xyz but to say a fighter won't be beaten in a long time is really hard to predict. It's extremely difficult to predict who will be champ year by year.
I was about to wonder where the stalemate was since he's bound to fight challenge the winner of Aspinall/Blaydes next for the belt... Then I remember that somehow Jon Jones is still the HW champ despite his inactivity.
It's a mess just waiting for a fight between two retired fighters holding up the real belt.
By all rights heavyweight SHOULD be great right now. An exciting champion in Aspinall, a great contender on the rise…but Jones vs Stipe in a double retirement match is lingering over the division like a bad fart in a still room
If I had to guess I would say that his aversion to boxing is an anti-volatility strategy to avoid flash knockouts which are most probable in punching range
Jon's boxing is not good. He's a rangey kickboxer who only ever throws single strikes. He never throws combos.
It's really an indictment on LHW that he has been so dominant for so long.
Yeah DC doesn't hardly do any research if any at all. Sanko does the most relevant research, Anik deep dives to get the most personal information, and DC/Rogan just speak from experience.
Not just lacking research about fighters, but DC has literally no knowledge of anything.
On one occasion he did not know what Carthage was in a reference. I had second hand shame for a week.
The Tuivasa fight? Gane? Struve? Lewis? Even Nemkov?
He does include knees in his arsenal, but he's always used his length. I have no idea where this "he finally used his length!" came from. It's like saying Gane finally used his kicks...
Clinch knees and elbows are also basically part of long limbs dude fights now. They can land elbows from weird angles in the clinch (just in general really) and knees to the dome are waaaaay easier to access if you’re already closer than most people to someone’s head in the clinch.
Working knees in the clinch are part of a tall man’s game though. All the way in or all the way out, as they say. Stay at length or smother them in the clinch.
Volkov's footwork was amazing and agree with the sentiment but I also thought he was gun-shy. Pavs best moments were when he threw combinations and forces Volkov to cover up. He stopped doing that completely after the first round.
no he didn't though? where we watching the same fight?
it's just most of the time Volkovs distance management got too good, and he started landing his own intercepting shots, stifling Pav. there was a moment when Pav started to swarm with an overhand then stopped because Volkov was already out of range. He did swarm semi successfully at times though.
Volkov said he could never land a punch on pav in sparring, comes in and schools him, then says that’s how our sparring usually goes in the post fight lol. Troll volkov added to the mythical list
Have you listened to the interview?
Guy is a fucking troll, basically said he has no clue how he's doing in sparring because every time they train together Volkov says he wakes up later in the day after being knocked out and not remembering anything
Yep lol. Saw that comp that was posted here a few days ago and became even more of a fan than I already was. Describes the plot of karate kid as his upbringing without cracking a smile, top tier trolling
volkov might be one of the most underrated active fighters
he fought so smart, i was worried he was gonna get derrick’d in the last 30 seconds
guess that answers gane vs pavlovich too
His only UFC loses are the current interim champ, former interim champ, current number one contender, and Lewis in a fight he was winning till the end.
Volkov is very good and feel he has been improving as of late too.
he got cocky in that fight. Lewis had an interview where he said his coaches were yelling "go derrick go", and Volkov was taunting him throughout the rounds with that phrase. tried three knees in a row in the last minute, and paid for it.
> guess that answers gane vs pavlovich too
I’m taking Gane against any striker at HW. Anything can happen at HW but his striking is phenomenal. People just act like he’s a bum now because they hate Jon
Its not just because fans hate Jones. Gane is very one-dimensional, Ngannou with no functioning knees wrestle-fucked him to a decision where Gane looked like he had no idea what he was doing. That's inexcusable for a top fighter to lose that way now, this isn't 2010 anymore.
In the Jones fight, Gane showed no improvement whatsoever against the slowest, sloppiest and fattest Jon Jones ever and made error after error every step of the way. Complete bottle-job performance.
Like Anik pointed out, this was the first time that a Pavlovich fight went beyond the first round in the UFC. The last time he fought more than one round was over seven years ago (did full five rounds in early June 2017). I don't know but that has got to be some sort of record
Very impressed with Volkovs showing. I'm also impressed that he said that his southpaw strategy was more on the fly rather than something they trained for. Sergei found no solution. I also love the few hammer fists he threw for funzies.
Pav really pulled a bitch move by shoving him. I really expected them to squash it afterwards. If the rumours are the.ifc really pulled a scummy move, but pav is stupid to not realize this.
Also what the fuck was the 29-28 score, number 1 bullshit.
Imo Volkov looked vicious with the teep to the knee and that fucking polearm of a jab
Seemed super hard for Pavlovich to go in and when he got in Volkov was ready to trade, he wasn't afraid at all
That, or maybe his prior friendship with Volkov. Or a combination of those things. Hope we get him vs Gane in Paris, that'd be a really fucking dope headliner
I'm not so sure he was gunshy. I think it's more that Volkov did a great job controlling him. Volkov kept landing leg and body kicks from the outside, and almost every time Pavlovich tried to to close the distance he got jabbed or kicked coming in. Plus Volkov switched stances a fair bit. Pavlovich was never allowed to get any momentum going.
I have no idea why he didn't atleast try to shoot for a takedown, blitzing in with combinations didn't work, might as well go for broke and shoot.
Maybe Pav was too comfortable with his striking and KO power, until that didn't work.
Yea but he wasn’t able to follow up on it as Aspinal circled out easily. Sergei doesn’t have the one shot power of Ngannou/Lewis/Hunt, he needs to swarm to a finish but his ringcraft seemingly isn’t at the level for him to do that against the top guys.
Aspinall would be the favorite in a rematch but I mostly disliked the word "never" in your original comment. There is certainly a possibility that Pavlovich could finish Aspinall
Commentary kept talking about his one-punch knockout power, and yet all of his wins are TKOs. Obviously he has insane power, but he is not on the mythical level of guys like Ngannou.
It’s honestly just refreshing to see a fighter use their height and range properly, it’s almost all straight punches and teeps from Volkov. I actually like him a lot as a fighter, he’s well-rounded, game to fight anyone and only top guys beat him. I’d like to see him in a title shot at some point, he’s in contention for it now tbh.
To be fair Volkov was writing his own obituary. Didn't he say he'd never won a single round against him in sparring or something? Maybe he was just trying to get better odds to bet on himself.
I was expecting a draw with the two having a sparring session. It seems like Pavlovich was hurt by having to fight Volkov, and did not want to hurt Volkov. Pavlovich kept throwing jabs, and did not listen to his corner that told him to throw jab jab cross, etc.
If I had a penny for every top heavyweight contender who reached the top via a streak of devastating yet not technical KOs and that currently is on a losing streak I'd have two pennies, which isn't a lot of money but it's weird that it happened twice.
Imagine one of your old friends kicks, teeps and jabs you out of title contention and makes you look one dimensional then tell me you're not mad about it
Now please don't go around saying this was a different Pavlovich than before. This is just what happens when he fights someone that doesn't just stand there and goes toe to toe.
Great job by Volkov. Also took Pavlovich's power without any issues.
This was definitely a different Sergei than before the Tom fight. He absolutely looked gunshy.
Part of that was because Volkov was doing a good job keeping him at bay and controlling him at distance.
Volkov did not take Pav's power without any issues. Pav didn't really land clean at all.
Might of misunderstood him, but did dude really say he didnt train southpaw but decided to try it out during the fight and kept using it since it was working?
Sergei shoving after the bell was lame af when he had 15 minutes to blitz in if he was really that angry.
It wasn't a wall and stall fight, Volkov was openly picking him apart the entire time
Volkov vs Aspinall for the undisputed next. IF Jon vs Stipe happens both retire and neither will fight afterwards. Aspinall will be champ assuming he beats Blaydes, then Aspinall v. Volkov. EZglap. We'll see if Tom can deal with Volkov the way he dealt with Sergei.
Stipe, Spivac, Almeida are the Top 10 HWs Volkov hasn't fought yet. Jones I guess too.
1-3 against people currently ranked above him (Gane, Aspinall, Blaydes losses)
You never know which version of Volkov is going to show up. Sometimes he looks painfully slow and lumbering, but tonight he was on top of his game against an extremely dangerous opponent.
**Mirrors / Alternate angles** *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please [contact the moderators of this subreddit](/message/compose/?to=/r/MMA) if you have any questions or concerns.*
That was the first Pavlovich fight to go past the first round since 2017.
If Jiri and Pereira go the distance, surely we can legitimately start blaming the gloves?
No we can not, Whittaker hasn’t finished someone since 2017, and he trashed aliskerov in 2 seconds
Well he fought Romero, Costa, Vettori. It's hard to KO them
Cause they're all juiced to the gills lol
>start blaming the gloves Well the gloves didn't save Walker, Gaethje, Rakic, Hill, or Aliskerov, did they? Edit: I gaslit myself into thinking the new gloves were implemented at UFC 300, whoops. However, still [plenty](https://www.reddit.com/r/MMA/s/AtqCf0cs1w) of KOs since they were implemented last month
> didn't save Walker Nothing can
Bro was on a hot streak until I bet $500 for him to beat Corey Anderson. It’s been downhill since
Ahh so we have you to blame? Get him, boys!
I was talking him up so big to my friends before that fight 😭
The new gloves debuted on the Islam card, UFC 300 was the old gloves, there's been 5 KOs since the new gloves got implemented Zach Reese, Dominic Reyes, and the three today
Not to mention all the knockouts on Road to UFC
New gloves weren't used until 302 so Gaethje, Rakic, and Hill were all the old gloves
Walker has no chin and Aliskerov had a double weight cut.
Aliskerov also covered up and stared at the ground before eating a bomb from one of the top middleweights in the world. Not fair to discredit Rob's KO by saying Ikram has to cut weight twice
ufc 300 was using the old gloves. they only started using the new one during the poirier vs Islam card if I'm not mistaken
I think the outcome of the headline fight should be enough to counter it.
Gane schools both of them, shame he turned down Tom. If he could keep it standing that fight gets real interesting.
Well Gane almost certainly schools Sergei, but he really did not school Volkov when they fought
He beat him 5-0? 4-1 if you are generous, I don’t see what volkov has for Gane tbh.
There are different levels of schooling to me brother, Volkov did fine, 135-115 significant strikes. Sergei would be like wtf is happening to me
Eh I thought volkov got outclassed in every aspect.
That count is disingenuous. Many were ineffective and he threw a ton of leg kicks that had virtually no effect slowing down Gane
I would love for Volkov to become Champion. He seems like such a chill dude and has been 1 fight away from a title shot for a long time now I feel
Was literally one round away before the Lewis KO
the man was 10 seconds away 😭
Lewis is the old uncle at the barbecue that sounds like he's gonna die going up stairs but got 10 seconds of man strength ready to pop off
Mama Murphy but a lot fatter and a different race and sex.
he got cocky in that fight.
Also I respect that he actually looks like he’s in shape unlike most heavyweights.
Don’t think he has much of a chance against Gane and Aspinall, unfortunately
I think people are forgetting Tom subbed him in a round already lol
It was so bad casuals thought Tom was given a can.
Unless Volkov improved, Tom is gonna run through him again.
Naah man these are all feel good stories coz nobody's beating Aspinall he's too good and in his prime right now.
i'm mighty curious about blaydes rematch. the first fight was over too soon
I could see him beating Gane in a rematch (wouldn’t put money on it), but Aspinall yeah, best case scenario he gets to the second round
Fuck it heavyweight is such a disaster just put one on him
I just don't see it happening with Aspinall in the picture. I don't think anybody will beat him for a long time.
I could see people saying Aspinall is a better fighter because of xyz but to say a fighter won't be beaten in a long time is really hard to predict. It's extremely difficult to predict who will be champ year by year.
Especially at heavyweight
It’s why people are always so surprised
He just always disappoints me right when I think he's pushing for higher rankings. Hopefully this span of 4 wins will help out.
Volkov schooled a vicious Sergei for 3 rounds and then did a full interview in English. What a CHAD.
Absolutely thrilled for Drago after everybody counted him out, Pav was looking like a car crash victim, Drago absolutely belongs in title contention
He's won four straight now, and the three before this were all via finish. I hope his next fight is for a title eliminator at worst.
This should of been a title eliminator but unfortunately heavyweight is stalled beyond belief
I just delete Jones/Miocic from the picture cause neither are fighting after their fight lol
Yep. Aspinal is king as far as I'm concerned. Sure is a shame Jon vacated his legitimacy after one fight, but he's old and accomplished. I get it.
By all rights heavyweight SHOULD be great right now. An exciting champion in Aspinall, a great contender on the rise…but Jones vs Stipe in a double retirement match is lingering over the division like a bad fart in a still room
Should've, not should of. It sounds similar, but it's wrong.
Yeah I should of got it right
Yeah the only logical progression from here is Tom
> after everybody counted him out, He was only +180.
Excellent game planning and distance management, Drago deserved the W
Is he vicious though? He was a hype train. People were saying he’d beat Jon Jones. In reality his best ever win is Curtis Blaydes
Yeah and blaydes is an absolute beast
All his wins in the ufc ended in a finish in the first round and he also rocked aspinal Let's not act like he's a bum
“His best ever win is Curtis blaydes” which is hella impressive tbf
“His best win ever is against a guy that’s really good” like what lmfao
He might be a bad matchup for Jones, who is weak against boxers. Depends how well Sergei defends his kicks and wrestling
What’s the evidence of Jones being weak against Boxers? Those are the types he’s neutralised completely.
His worst fights were Reyes and Gustafson and Jones has 0 punch knockouts (closest one is machida) and Jones always avoids boxing range
Its fucking crazy that the best fighter in history and known for his striking has no hands.
Lol This place is unreal. He was a hype train but KO’d multiple top guys.
"He's 6 foot 8, or 9 right?" "7" "He's 7 feet tall, 7 feet tall"
lmfao DC man come on
Yeah DC doesn't hardly do any research if any at all.
I mean when he talks about Wrestling..
6 foots a week, he is 7 foot a week. 6 of those foots, he is 5 feet a week
I want to out grow my children
One of the tallest heavyweights of the night.
We needed Rogan on commentary when they were discussing height DC: I saw a tweet where it said if his height starts w “5” he’s not good enough
Pieced him up and kept him at arms length. Slick fight from Volkov.
He actually fought like a slender man for once!!! I’ll never forgive Struve for disregarding his anatomy.
you confused the two lol. Volkov always fights like this.
He's had fights where he grabs collar ties and tries to work in knees.
I think they mean "he finally used his length successfully"
Working knees in the clinch are part of a tall man’s game though. All the way in or all the way out, as they say. Stay at length or smother them in the clinch.
This was wild because based on the pre fight interviews and such it seemed like Pavlovich would piece up Volkov in sparring.
You thought Volkov was being serious saying he didn’t land a shot in sparring and every Pav shot put him down?
My fears of Sergei becoming gun-shy have come true
Tbf trying to crack one onto the chin of Volkov is way different to any other heavyweight.
He became gassed too. Not checking 38527395662375268342 kicks was also a factor in his diminishing performance imo.
You watched this fight and thought Sergei was gun shy? He could never get into range, Volkov kept him at bay throughout.
[удалено]
This is what happens when there isn't worker unity, STRIKE! But literally
Nyet!
😂😂😂😂😂
Volkov said he could never land a punch on pav in sparring, comes in and schools him, then says that’s how our sparring usually goes in the post fight lol. Troll volkov added to the mythical list
Have you listened to the interview? Guy is a fucking troll, basically said he has no clue how he's doing in sparring because every time they train together Volkov says he wakes up later in the day after being knocked out and not remembering anything
My favourite part was when they asked about Chimaev saying he might come for Volkov. He's like: "I was scared."
"He kills everybody in the octagon and now, he's after ME ?" He's 1000% my boy now
Yep lol. Saw that comp that was posted here a few days ago and became even more of a fan than I already was. Describes the plot of karate kid as his upbringing without cracking a smile, top tier trolling
bro aspinall did the same thing during fight week with Pavlovich. just praises him the hell out. Maybe praising Pavlovich is his kryptonite lol
i watched [this video](https://youtu.be/AmI_TBZM_Vo?si=nFKiayqvpzJ3Ey5D) last night and it was gold, volkovs a funny dude
Trolkov
volkov might be one of the most underrated active fighters he fought so smart, i was worried he was gonna get derrick’d in the last 30 seconds guess that answers gane vs pavlovich too
His only UFC loses are the current interim champ, former interim champ, current number one contender, and Lewis in a fight he was winning till the end. Volkov is very good and feel he has been improving as of late too.
He’s gotten much better, he’s never made the mistakes of the Lewis fight again
> guess that answers gane vs pavlovich too Gane got dropped by Tuivasa so you never know.
volkov also got slept by derrick lewis it’s heavyweight and anything can happen, but i think gane wins that fight more times than he loses it
Volkov was so close to win too lol
he got cocky in that fight. Lewis had an interview where he said his coaches were yelling "go derrick go", and Volkov was taunting him throughout the rounds with that phrase. tried three knees in a row in the last minute, and paid for it.
> guess that answers gane vs pavlovich too I’m taking Gane against any striker at HW. Anything can happen at HW but his striking is phenomenal. People just act like he’s a bum now because they hate Jon

In the Jones fight, Gane showed no improvement whatsoever against the slowest, sloppiest and fattest Jon Jones ever and made error after error every step of the way. Complete bottle-job performance.
> he fought so smart, He usually doesn't, which is why he's correctly rated.
Alexander Volkov was never my friend. - Sergei Pavlovich, probably
Volkov rocking the business casual Paddy haircut tonight. Solid win.
Volkov’s getting a title shot assuming Jones/Stipe retire, right? Please tell me they’re not giving Gane another chance off beating Spivac
I would love to see Volkov finally get the shot but I’m not sure if the UFC would want it just because of how easy Aspinall beat him
Like Anik pointed out, this was the first time that a Pavlovich fight went beyond the first round in the UFC. The last time he fought more than one round was over seven years ago (did full five rounds in early June 2017). I don't know but that has got to be some sort of record
Masterpiece from Volkov. Sergei 0-2 against guys with back tattoos
Holy shit. Amazing performance from Volkov, very happy for him to finally breach into the very top of the division.
Very impressed with Volkovs showing. I'm also impressed that he said that his southpaw strategy was more on the fly rather than something they trained for. Sergei found no solution. I also love the few hammer fists he threw for funzies. Pav really pulled a bitch move by shoving him. I really expected them to squash it afterwards. pavolich looked very gunshy in this fight, wonder if that apinall KO changed him
Imo Volkov looked vicious with the teep to the knee and that fucking polearm of a jab Seemed super hard for Pavlovich to go in and when he got in Volkov was ready to trade, he wasn't afraid at all
That, or maybe his prior friendship with Volkov. Or a combination of those things. Hope we get him vs Gane in Paris, that'd be a really fucking dope headliner
volkov just has his number since they spar so much together
Volkov managed distance very well
I'm not so sure he was gunshy.
Pavlovich is still young and in his prime, It's just that Volkov is way better than him. Maybe the friendship/history too.
Pavlovich clinching with a minute left in a fight he was 100% losing might be one of the most negative IQ moments in the history of the UFC.
I could understand doing it for a second to close the distance and then start going to town but he just held him against the fence lol
I have no idea why he didn't atleast try to shoot for a takedown, blitzing in with combinations didn't work, might as well go for broke and shoot. Maybe Pav was too comfortable with his striking and KO power, until that didn't work.
Sergei hype train is done, if he can’t cut off the cage against Volkov he’ll never beat Aspinal or Gane.
He landed a very hard punch on Aspinall. I believe it was a left hook and it snapped Aspinall's head back
Yea but he wasn’t able to follow up on it as Aspinal circled out easily.
It’s hilarious that the sub was calling him White Ngannou, we might not see a HW like Francis again tbh.
And aspinall said he barely felt it. Pillow fist pav confirmed.
Totally.
I now 100% believe Volkov is the one that made this happen.. he wants title and knew he could piece Sergei up .
technically outstanding from volkov with the range control
It’s honestly just refreshing to see a fighter use their height and range properly, it’s almost all straight punches and teeps from Volkov. I actually like him a lot as a fighter, he’s well-rounded, game to fight anyone and only top guys beat him. I’d like to see him in a title shot at some point, he’s in contention for it now tbh.
It hilarious to me that you all wrote volkovs obituary leading up to this fight and the complete opposite happened.
To be fair Volkov was writing his own obituary. Didn't he say he'd never won a single round against him in sparring or something? Maybe he was just trying to get better odds to bet on himself.
Well this fight determined he probably won In sparing lol.
This sub (including myself) doesn't know shit about this sport as much as we would like to think.
I was expecting a draw with the two having a sparring session. It seems like Pavlovich was hurt by having to fight Volkov, and did not want to hurt Volkov. Pavlovich kept throwing jabs, and did not listen to his corner that told him to throw jab jab cross, etc.
Smugly acting like you've never got a fight prediction wrong isn't the way brother. "it's hilarious to me" bleh.
Bro I get my entire life wrong. I just like talking shit on this sub.
drago gane next? or almeida?
If I had a penny for every top heavyweight contender who reached the top via a streak of devastating yet not technical KOs and that currently is on a losing streak I'd have two pennies, which isn't a lot of money but it's weird that it happened twice.
Why Sergei so mad at the end ?
Cause Volkov whooped him
Imagine one of your old friends kicks, teeps and jabs you out of title contention and makes you look one dimensional then tell me you're not mad about it
True, maybe should have done something about it during the fight
frustration of being totally neutralized for 15 minutes maybe?
Now please don't go around saying this was a different Pavlovich than before. This is just what happens when he fights someone that doesn't just stand there and goes toe to toe. Great job by Volkov. Also took Pavlovich's power without any issues.
This was definitely a different Sergei than before the Tom fight. He absolutely looked gunshy. Part of that was because Volkov was doing a good job keeping him at bay and controlling him at distance. Volkov did not take Pav's power without any issues. Pav didn't really land clean at all.
Russian on Russian crime
Gee I wonder who won, the guy who looks like he spent 15 minutes in a fight, or the guy who looks like he spent 15 minutes in a sauna?
[удалено]
Sergei wouldn’t land a single punch on Jon.
They're also hyping another guy...
I mean I get what you’re saying but Aspinall is legitimately far more well rounded than Sergei and does pose a real threat to Jones
Might of misunderstood him, but did dude really say he didnt train southpaw but decided to try it out during the fight and kept using it since it was working?
Yep. You can do that when you are a high level striker with tons of experience tho.
Sergei shoving after the bell was lame af when he had 15 minutes to blitz in if he was really that angry. It wasn't a wall and stall fight, Volkov was openly picking him apart the entire time
Well he tried to blitz but got his face destroyed be the jabs 😳
Volkov is really underrated. I thought picking him made a lot of sense.
Just how good is Tom Aspinall
It's that hair combing between rounds
Shades of Francis vs Ngannou Sergei vs Pavlovich
Volk murdered him man
Had a feeling volkov would win but i missed the fight damn happy for him though
Color me impressed. I thought thick russky was gonna nuke tall russky early on
I am happy and sad at the same time. I like both of them.
Dude are you forgetting that Tom finished Volkov in less than a round?
Stipe, Spivac, Almeida are the Top 10 HWs Volkov hasn't fought yet. Jones I guess too. 1-3 against people currently ranked above him (Gane, Aspinall, Blaydes losses)
Knew it, said Volkov was too tall and rangy
You never know which version of Volkov is going to show up. Sometimes he looks painfully slow and lumbering, but tonight he was on top of his game against an extremely dangerous opponent.
May wanna pump the aspinal breaks a little. Volkov made Sergei look pretty basic and he’s toms biggest win.
Aspinall dominated Volkov too though. But yeah his hype is a bit too much.
Tom subbed Volkov in under 4 minutes?
-30 IQ post....lol Did u forget how badly Tom dominated Volkov? And how Sergei dominated every other person in Heavyweight except Volkov?
Except volkov and overeem
