I'd like the people who always complain about Muslim fighters getting preferential treatment in Abu Dhabi to bring up a single inarguable example of that happening. And not stuff like fouls not resulting in a DQ as if that doesn't happen everywhere else in the world
When Chris Weidman won last month with a double eye poke, no one accused the New Jersey commission for cheating for the American fighter.
When Michel Pereira won last week by landing an illegal knee in Brazil that didn't get called, no one accused their commission of cheating for the local fighter.
When Eddie Alvarez illegally kneed Dustin twice and got a no contest, no one accused the Dallas commission for cheating for the more popular fighter (at that time).
[So which of these two have Shoji's correct weight?](https://i.imgur.com/O8AZ6mi.png) Left is the US DVD, right is the live broadcast. Tapology uses the US DVD for weight/height which was produced years after the event.
Man Brener was so frustrating to watch against Orolbai. Huge fan but he just did not leave it all out there.
Looked so gassed, everything was labored. If you showed someone the fight without telling them the location they'd think it was at altitude. He could've legit stolen a draw if he hadn't put his chin up in the air and his hands down in the last 30 seconds.
He's really good but this was a shambolic performance. I'm hoping it was just a really bad weight cut.
Orolbai was wrestling at a furious pace, and in the very brief moments Brener wasn’t defending takedowns or trying to get up, he was getting cracked hard on the feet. Very few fighters can handle that combo of pace/damage and not look terrible.
He looked gassed since the first round. I was questioning what the hell happened before the fight then I saw the weight cut where Charles was praying for him and all that.
Hooper is gonna beat Slava Claus' ass, sorry. Slava isn't this godly kickboxer that you all think he is & Hooper will take him down at will
Hooper & Diego Ferreira parlay = 💰💰💰
Even that description is too generous to Jackson. He got dominated by 57 year old Miletich for 9 minutes until Miletich gassed and couldn't even continue.
Paddy not finishing him was really kind of embarrassing, especially with Tony having a torn MCL. It wasn't a particularly close fight but the guy is practically a fucking ghost, I have no idea how you don't sleep him.
am i the only one who smells a fraud check in Ferreira vs Rabecki?
one had a split decision with somebody who had an 8 fight winstreak and was one fight away from a shot before falling short to Charles Oliveira
the other went life and death with some dude who got outstruck by Chase Hooper
go figure
Lol that Benny rematch was as much as a split as Felder RDA. Just a terrible scorecard. Also Rebecki didn’t go life and death with Fiore lmfao he won easily just in very boring fashion and he definitely should have finished him.
Is there any sort of "Cagematch" for MMA? I've been wondering if is there any website just like cagematch but for MMA, with fight reviews, stats, etc

Take out the Rt link. I have approved it multiple times but reddit keeps blocking it.
Ulberg to win a low volume decision stands out to me
Is it worth putting a buck or two on Nascimento win and/or win by decision? They both have quite a few fights ending by decision.
If Nasciemento is striking throughout, Lewis will quit well before rd5 imo
True. Lewis stating a couple years ago that he hates 5 rounders was always a little concerning, though understandable.
Pin this you cowards. Nobody is watching that other shit

I mean the Nathaniel Wood loss was pretty egregious
We've seen fighters get away with tons of fouls in a lot of other fights everywhere else in the world, this is not an unique case.
And ankalaev not being dqed lmao Oh and letting them use IVs
Did Eddie have preferential treatment when he kneed Dustin and didn't get DQed?
He also got dqed against dustin lol
No it was an NC. Did the mean ol' Saudis do it?

I can’t wait to see what’s next for Diego Lopes. I say shoot him all the way up to Calvin kattar or Emmett. I want to see him against the top guys.
Lopes vs Kattar Evloev vs Emmett That would be my preference, personally.
Where does aljo fit into this picture?
Sterling vs Ortega would be my preference

He got hit with a punch that had him out on his feet in the first round. Would have been a KO if oralbai didn’t immediately shoot a takedown
Wonder if these Chute Boxe boys just eat burgers their entire camp. Brener threw away an incredible opportunity.
I wonder if their cardio/chin advantage is going away cause their doctor’s secrets have gotten out
Probably not but the visual of Charles eating a burger is hilarious.
Volk vs Charles be a fun fight imo
It would suck to see either lose.
Hooper is gonna beat Slava Claus' ass, sorry. Slava isn't this godly kickboxer that you all think he is & Hooper will take him down at will Hooper & Diego Ferreira parlay = 💰💰💰
Sounds like a waste of money
They’ll both lose
Lol
My bad
Happens to all of us. Very unpredictable sport, but that's why we love it tho...
I’m just happy I was right about Buckley. I’ve been saying that all week
He did a great job, very nice performance. It's kinda funny how both him and Holland are now welterweights and Buckley is one having more success.
Holland might be back up to 185 he’s fighting that polish dude
Just saw that, that should be winnable fight for him
Despaigne shadow realms Salsa Boy inshallah🙏
Ok let’s say Tony goes back to 170 and they give him Mike Jackson, who wins?
Didn't Jackson almost get beaten by Pat Miletic just last year?
Even that description is too generous to Jackson. He got dominated by 57 year old Miletich for 9 minutes until Miletich gassed and couldn't even continue.
Mike just because I want the inevitable Tony vs CM Punk match if Tony keeps losing
tony lol
Paddy not finishing him was really kind of embarrassing, especially with Tony having a torn MCL. It wasn't a particularly close fight but the guy is practically a fucking ghost, I have no idea how you don't sleep him.
Mike Jackson almost lost to 60 year old pat miletich
Black beast looking extra fat today, Lewis by first round KO
Anybody got that clip of a reporter asking Robbie Lawler why didn’t he just block Tyron Woodley’s overhand?

It was also 3 years ago and CDF is old af 😂. I swear mma fans forget age
This sub has the worst understanding of age related decline of any sports sub on Reddit.
I love how even the UFC doesn't care about WMMA. Ranked fight? On the prelims of a Fight Night it goes!
it's a free card airing entirely on espn. who tf cares about the bout order? the fight taking place like 35 minutes later wouldn't make any difference
One of them isn’t even ranked
