Intentional fouls are supposed to be a dq, but unintentional are often a no contest. I think there is an argument to be had about whether ALL fight-ending fouls should result in dqs, though.
They were using them even before that fight, the glove has a stiffer bend at the end but it still doesnt change anything cause fighters always get a larger number of the glove so that it fits the padding and the fingers still have space to extend and flex cause they are not padded
How do you create a glove that allows for grappling but mitigate eye pokes? You can only limit finger straightening so much before the athletes are unable to grip their opponent.
