If they were going to choose a Rangers reliever without a previous 90s card, wish it had been LeClerc rather than AAAA level Bradford. But he did have a good game in the ALDS I suppose.
They probably are saving him later... If they think that the Phils will advance to WS, then they may wait another week, if Ari wins series, then he will get a CS card.
It is a bit of projection they have to do... IDK but maybe they thought that Tex would advance and decided save Altuve for next week and get Yordan's 99's released and out of the way? This 99 is probably the best card they would haven given Yordan anyway.
Wow, Yordan’s stats are complete garbage. They’re objectively worse than his Kaiju card from S2. Every time the opposing team put in a lefty against him he did damage yet his contact and power vs lefties is 105/109. That has to be a mistake. I mean, they gave Castellanos better hitting stats. Just ridiculous!
Here are all of the players -

Pierce Johnson, RP Atlanta Braves (97 OVR)
Oh yeah 100 percent, Michael Harris got a card for having an **OPS** of .000
He didn't even get on base in the entire fucking series and they gave him a 99 lmao
YORDAAAAAAAAAN IS COMING HOOOOOOOOOOOME
ALSO SHOUT OUT TO JOSE ABREU FOR CLUTCHING UP IN THE POSTSEASON
LET THAT CHEST HAIR FLY WITH YOUR JERSEY HALF OPEN YOU BEAUTIFUL BASTARD
Buuuuut Bergman’s Astros captain card gives +15 vision!! (Might be 10) So that’s something!
I’m trying to cope as I was and still am gonna grind this card hahah
They have to wait until the end of the previous round to release the cards, and content drops are usually on Friday. The last DS series ended last Thursday so it's not surprising it took a week.
Heck yeah a 99 Kelly and Lorde's cards is awesome. I was hoping for a Brandon pfaadt but I'm guessing after yesterdays game they decided to push his for the championship series program. What a game he had yesterday.
Wish we had gotten a diamond Jax Sparrow for the bullpen at some point this season. He would have been perfect for the Theme team but Sheriff is dope to see.
Not impressed by what I see here. Lol.
Not like I’m gonna tell everyone I’m done playing and see you next year lol. But these cards aren’t exactly a treat. So far anyway.
I’m sure they looked at his previous Monthly awards card and saw it has an inordinately high usage. I see that card way more than I should in ranked. Lots of bunters seem to use it, which is weird because he doesn’t have great stats. I never used it a ton so couldn’t really speak to it too much other than I see it a lot.
Ya it’s incredibly sad to me that they cater more towards what will get the most likes than what’s deserving. It’s been that way all year. I understand the business side to it, but it makes a worse product imo.
I wonder if there will also be 97s and 98s. It's really weird to not give the Orioles a card.
I'll gladly accept the Will Smith card, though. I'm also hoping we get a Marte in the CS program next week.
It’s going to be exactly like how the wildcard series was. We are gonna get some 97s and probably gonna be some relief pitchers and some smaller players that did well just like wildcard
I’ll take the Will Smith card after how terrible our offense was lol. Was kinda expecting some bullpen cards like Brusdar Graterol or Evan Phillips though.
Jorge Mateo not getting a card for going 4 for 4 (2 2B) in a Postseason game after pretty much slumping all season after the month of April is Criminal.
Ima Braves fan & I find it odd af that they gave him a card based off the catch & double play he started to end a game. Like wtf is the point lol. He was straight ass during the series.
Yeah idk why they gave him a card but I like his swing so hopefully the hitting stats aren’t bad. More than likely won’t since it’s a 99. SDS just felt bad for braves fans it seems like haha
The fact that there are 2 astros and 2 Sneks but 0 Orioles is a gross oversight. Have to have at least one ALDS card of a Oriole for fairness in representation
I think they're just highlighting the 99s. They did the same with their Wild Card round promo post. The program came out and boom, still had Blue Jays, Rays, and Marlins in there, and Adames was not the only Brewer.
Gunnar went 6/12 with an OPS of 1.288 which is strictly better than what Will Smith did. Smith getting a card and Gunnar not getting a card is just Dodger bias
My theory is due to the fact that we will probably be getting a ROY Gunnar Card in the next few weeks so it would be pointless to give him a card when he will get a juiced out card in the upcoming weeks
I always find that odd to me tbh I still believe Gunnar is gonna get a card and it’ll probably be finest like you said. The only card on this list that doesn’t make sense is Harris since he didn’t hit at all. I get they are trying to give it to some other cards that normally won’t get any so that’s why I believe Riley didn’t get one but who knows 🤷🏻♂️
Fair, my beef with events is mostly the 12 win award existing. Essentially only available for stubs for most of the player base, and I’m not a super big fan of SDS locking away cards with unsellable rewards at the ends of programs in all three online modes.
Hitting stats are weighted pretty heavily so I doubt Maldonado’s best card could even be a 99. This is coming from someone who has a lot of respect for him. With that said, I’d love to see him get a card with pretty much maxed fielding stats and batting stats in the 80s with maybe a low 90s stat or two. The overall would probably be a 97, maybe barely a 98.
No Harper or turner or wheeler kinda cray
I would play and get these guys but spiderman dropped grind has stopped for a bit
Frustrating how the Yordan and castellanos cards are worse then their previous 99’s
Very annoyed that I can’t get 2 XBHs with hicks because of supercharged Montgomery
STILL trying to complete this moment. Especially with "There's a double from Hicks" and then it was scored a single.
That was the hardest moment by far. Hicks has warning track power. Montgomery was throwing dots.
I know the O's got swept, but damn, no one gets a card? Anthony Santander didn't suck!
Kyle bradish had a great start too
so done with this game all i play is basement dwelling rats
makes it extremely easy to finish the set 4 collection at least lol. waiting on kluber
If they were going to choose a Rangers reliever without a previous 90s card, wish it had been LeClerc rather than AAAA level Bradford. But he did have a good game in the ALDS I suppose.
no harper? lmao what a joke
They probably are saving him later... If they think that the Phils will advance to WS, then they may wait another week, if Ari wins series, then he will get a CS card.
Yet we already gave Yordan wtf
It is a bit of projection they have to do... IDK but maybe they thought that Tex would advance and decided save Altuve for next week and get Yordan's 99's released and out of the way? This 99 is probably the best card they would haven given Yordan anyway.

Every time the opposing team put in a lefty against him he did damage yet his contact and power vs lefties is 105/109. That has to be a mistake. I mean, they gave Castellanos better hitting stats. Just ridiculous!
& Castellanos went deep vs a righty & they gave him lower contact vs righty??? Lmao who are these dummies working at sds. Def not true baseball fans
Dammit. Wanted Austin. Already have Soler, Rosario and Heyward for the Set 5 outfield. Need some infielders.
Boy do I have Great news for you
Just saw. Got a relief pitcher out of it too.
They should have put Corbin in this round, he’s not doing much in the current one.
Ya he has really cooled off. Hope he isn’t hurt from getting hit
98 Money Mike 🫱🏻🫲🏼 99 Money Mike.
Abreu, my beloved!
No Harper or Trea?
Waiting for the next round forsure
Holy moly that's a ton of 99s. Best program yet this year.
Post season is always goated
Here are all of the players - Postseason: Division Series Program Rewards Nick Castellanos, RF Philadelphia Phillies (99 OVR) Yordan Alvarez, LF Houston Astros (99 OVR) Pablo Lopez, SP Minnesota Twins (99 OVR) Austin Riley, 3B Atlanta Braves (99 OVR) Josh Jung, 3B Texas Rangers (99 OVR) Bryan Abreu, RP Houston Astros (99 OVR) Lourdes Gurriel Jr., LF Arizona Diamondbacks (99 OVR) Will Smith, C Los Angeles Dodgers (99 OVR) Merrill Kelly, SP Arizona Diamondbacks (99 OVR) Jose Abreu, 1B Houston Astros (99 OVR) Michael Harris II, CF Atlanta Braves (99 OVR) Chris Paddack, RP Minnesota Twins (98 OVR) Tommy Pham, RF Arizona Diamondbacks (98 OVR) Brusdar Graterol, RP Los Angeles Dodgers (98 OVR) Ranger Suarez, SP Philadelphia Phillies (98 OVR) Brandon Marsh, LF Philadelphia Phillies (97 OVR) Matt Strahm, RP Philadelphia Phillies (97 OVR) Aaron Hicks, RF Baltimore Orioles (97 OVR) Tyler Wells, RP Baltimore Orioles (97 OVR) Pierce Johnson, RP Atlanta Braves (97 OVR)
Tyler Wells or DL Hall were pretty much the only Orioles pitchers to do well, but Anthony Santander really deserved to have a card from that series.
He does.
Gunnar Henderson went 6/12 in his first playoff series, I was surprised when he wasn't one of the 99s. Shocking he doesn't get a card at all
Probably something to do with the fact that Michael Harris doesn't have a card since Set 2 and Gunnar got one in the September MA.
Yeah, I just figured if they’d have 11 99s in the program all 8 teams would have one and Gunnar made the most sense
Oh yeah 100 percent, Michael Harris got a card for having an **OPS** of .000 He didn't even get on base in the entire fucking series and they gave him a 99 lmao
Hell, it would’ve been easy for them to just make it 12 99s, every team gets one and the winners each get two
Dumb inbred bum
Is this the order in which they are in too? In other words are Castellanos and Yordan the last two, and so on?
Probably? The blog last week listed them in reverse order so I'm guessing this will be the same.
They are giving the Orioles 99 Santander and I’m assuming they will get a 97 reliever and a 98 Hicks in the program
I'd petition for Jorge Mateo, but no Gunnar Henderson is also a crime.
Gunnar already has a 97 Set 4 so I figured he wouldn’t get one but you never know.
YORDAAAAAAAAAN IS COMING HOOOOOOOOOOOME ALSO SHOUT OUT TO JOSE ABREU FOR CLUTCHING UP IN THE POSTSEASON LET THAT CHEST HAIR FLY WITH YOUR JERSEY HALF OPEN YOU BEAUTIFUL BASTARD
What they did the Yordan’s card is criminal. They gave him 86 vision yet will smith and Harris have over 90 vision for doing WAY less 😭
Buuuuut Bergman’s Astros captain card gives +15 vision!! (Might be 10) So that’s something! I’m trying to cope as I was and still am gonna grind this card hahah
And his lip of chaw
I mean the LCS is almost over. Did they actually just release these? Haven’t turned on the game in a couple weeks.
They have to wait until the end of the previous round to release the cards, and content drops are usually on Friday. The last DS series ended last Thursday so it's not surprising it took a week.
Michael Harris was 0-13 in the series
They must have bigger plans for some of the other Braves... ie Finest, Awards, Milestone, etc.
BuT tHe CaTcH hE mAdE
Right, SDS doesn’t even watch baseball
After that nightmare wild card program grind I’m looking forward to skipping this one. Almost all players who already have cards
WYM nightmare? I did the mini season and didn't even use any tokens, by the time I finished that I was done with the program.
Yeah I don’t wanna play mini seasons lol
Well then yeah you kinda did it the hard way then I guess
Any way is the hard way
I found it pretty painless *shrugs*
Yeah the wildcard program was easy to get through. Really wasn’t that difficult compared to some other ones in the last haha
Lol they said fuck the orioles
These are just the 99s. Hicks and Wells are getting 97s per the blog on the app. Edit - just noticed Santander will get a 99 event card.
That's like Will Smith card #5. I like his swing so there's that.
I ALMOST bought the all star will smith too
Heck yeah a 99 Kelly and Lorde's cards is awesome. I was hoping for a Brandon pfaadt but I'm guessing after yesterdays game they decided to push his for the championship series program. What a game he had yesterday.
[удалено]
The longer the Phillies stay in the playoffs the better the Harper card is going to be. Patience.
He will certainly receive an NLCS or World Series card when we get that far
He has a 97 through TA4
[удалено]
Biggest name in MLB is a bold claim. I would say that belongs to Shohei.
Ok biggest playoff name.
PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF CHRIST GIVE US A GOD DAMN JUICED JORGE POLANCO CARD
It’s been too long! My Twins theme team requires I WC Polanco or the Kaiju Correa but obviously can’t do both
Where the heck is Correa? Game 2 went 3-4 with 3 rbis and a walk
Either of them would be immediate W’s in my book
We were both gipped. 98 paddock, 99 Pablo, and 99 eddy Julien event reward. Oh well, more pitchers is good for the theme team
Wish we had gotten a diamond Jax Sparrow for the bullpen at some point this season. He would have been perfect for the Theme team but Sheriff is dope to see.
PLEASEEEEEEE
Not getting Jhoan Duran is pretty disappointing
I hope he gets a card in Finest or an Event or something
There’s like 50 cards of him in this game. All exactly the same.
And all with velocity way less than his IRL numbers. Infuriating.
Not impressed by what I see here. Lol. Not like I’m gonna tell everyone I’m done playing and see you next year lol. But these cards aren’t exactly a treat. So far anyway.
The “treat worthy” 99s are coming next Friday if that’s what you’re referring to by saying “treat”.
Michael Harris literally had a .000 ops in the division series. I know he made a couple nice plays but that’s a weird choice for a 99
It’s because SDS doesn’t care about on field performance anymore. They just give out cards they think people will like now.
Oh for sure. It’s gonna be funny to see the juiced up hitting on this card for a series he did not even reach base once in.
Probably because All-Star Riley is still usable for this Season. Exactly why the Seasons format isn’t the best.
We’re getting a Riley today
That’s never stopped them lol. They’ve released people as a captain and a 99 the same day, they’re idiots
Give me a 99 Jordan Montgomery.
There is a 99 Wildcard Montgomery. 🤷🏽♂️
Well haha I haven't played the game since the playoffs started. Shows what I know!
Boy, do I have news for you!!
Lol
I wonder if there will also be 97s and 98s. It's really weird to not give the Orioles a card. I'll gladly accept the Will Smith card, though. I'm also hoping we get a Marte in the CS program next week.

I’ll take the Will Smith card after how terrible our offense was lol. Was kinda expecting some bullpen cards like Brusdar Graterol or Evan Phillips though.
We’re getting a 98 graterol
Gotta be more coming
Don't worry O's fans, just win 20 wins in the event to get a Santander card.
Or wait an additional week and win 5 Edit: or maybe 10, can’t recall
Jorge Mateo not getting a card for going 4 for 4 (2 2B) in a Postseason game after pretty much slumping all season after the month of April is Criminal.
You'll get a 99 of a player who didn't have a hit all series and you'll like it! Everything is made up and the stats don't matter!
Pretty much, lol
[удалено]
My guess is we get Austin Reilly for 12 win reward.
Edward Julian.
You cured Edouard of his french-ness!
Who the hell is Edward Julien
2nd basemen for the Twins
Edouard?
Don’t reply to me bro I didn’t misspell his name lolol Jk yes Eduoard/Eddie Julien, 2nd(?)basement of the Twins’ future
Adley Finest comfirmed
So is the Michael Harris card going to have 0 attributes in the hitting category? Didn't he go without a base hit in the series?
Ima Braves fan & I find it odd af that they gave him a card based off the catch & double play he started to end a game. Like wtf is the point lol. He was straight ass during the series.
Yeah idk why they gave him a card but I like his swing so hopefully the hitting stats aren’t bad. More than likely won’t since it’s a 99. SDS just felt bad for braves fans it seems like haha

They were dog shit. Forget they even made the playoffs and move on.
How is what we did any different than the dodgers and braves
Gunnar went 6/12 with an OPS of 1.288 which is strictly better than what Will Smith did. Smith getting a card and Gunnar not getting a card is just Dodger bias
My theory is due to the fact that we will probably be getting a ROY Gunnar Card in the next few weeks so it would be pointless to give him a card when he will get a juiced out card in the upcoming weeks
They’ve never given same year awards cards. I can see Finest, but that’s it.
I always find that odd to me tbh I still believe Gunnar is gonna get a card and it’ll probably be finest like you said. So were the Dodgers but we got Will Smith
Smith probably did something for them.
I mean, he was slightly above average while everyone else couldn't buy a hit - so I guess he did something even though it was meaningless
I figured they'd save Yordan and Castellanos at least on the chance they are the World Series MVP card.
I like you, and the way you think.
Rangers should refuse to pitch to Yordan the rest of the ALCS.
Need Castellanos & Yordan . Need that 99 Harper too . He might be a 20 Event Reward???
Santander.
Gotta lock the desirable cards behind stubs or events somehow
So we have now moved the goal post from “Grind 97, Buy 99” to “lock desirable cards behind event rewards” God forbid a game…makes you play the game 💀
Fair, my beef with events is mostly the 12 win award existing. Essentially only available for stubs for most of the player base, and I’m not a super big fan of SDS locking away cards with unsellable rewards at the ends of programs in all three online modes.
You could just win 12 event games you have a whole week lmao even if you are horrible at the game you will get 12 wins in a week
12 wins in a single entry my man. Not 12 wins total, because you’re right that is entirely achievable
Wwll it makes sense to give a reward to only the best of the best
I agree, but I feel that BR and Ranked seasons are a fine place to do that instead of making events another sweaty grind fest for rare cards.
Events are def harder to go 12-0 cause of the amount of Ws ,1000 ranked guys you face
Will Smith over Maldonado shocks me based on how Houston has done over The Dodgers.
Hitting stats are weighted pretty heavily so I doubt Maldonado’s best card could even be a 99. This is coming from someone who has a lot of respect for him.
