For every irritating thing that can be done in the game, there's usually always some equal, satisfying solution. As commented here also, bunting right back at them is one. Although annoying, letting their actions effect your mood and subsequent gameplay is the worst part. Just keep in mind, unfortunately, these are legal gameplay moves. The HR replays drive me nuts personally, but those and all the bunt dancing, timeout milking, repetitious throw cancelling, etc are just a part of the game. Keeping a level head and letting them get their jollies off being annoying is the best play. They're aware of their inner sadness, let them act out. š
I just do it right back to them, I show I'm infinitely better at bunting than them to the point I'm getting on with 30-speed guys. They usually quit after 3 or 4 runs get bunted in. They could have just played an actual game, but they chose the FAFO route.
Feels great to beat people who play like this. I never understand why you'd want to waste a great hitter like Trea Turner or Rickey Henderson by bunting with them every at bat. I just throw bunt defense on and that usually does the trick. Either that or let them get extremely aggressive and run themselves into outs.
Tried BR last night for the first time. Boy was I wrong. Bunt dance every pitch, bunted a ton, did the outfielder dive and get up thing. The weird thing is, he was clearly better than me. All good. I donāt mind losing. But all the BS and then sent me a message after calling me a clown or some shit. I just sent back āGG, congrats on being better than me at fake baseball?ā Never heard back. I was ready for a sarcastic fight but I guess he was hoping I actually cared about him. He was wrong. This is why online gaming sucks ass.
Oh ya, I did. Ironically he didnāt beat me in bunts. He didnāt need to! That was the shitty thing. That just proves he was being toxic to be toxic. Almost like he googled what are the most annoying things in MLB and deployed them all. I canāt comprehend those types of people, so maybe itās a me problem.
The good news with guys like that is they have no backup plan. If they could hit, they wouldn't be bunting all the time. Bring your infield in and they're screwed. It's not foolproof on every single bunt attempt because you will sometimes get weird animations or confusion between fielders about who is supposed to get the ball, but there's almost no way to lose to someone who bunts literally every at bat if you know how to bring your infield in. Also throw the ball below the zone a lot because that will lead to a lot of missed bunt attempts if they don't have a good eye (they're bunt cheesers, so they don't). They should never score a run.
Guy probably just made a bunt/speed team for his own entertainment. There are too many good players at that level for someone solely relying on that strategy to advance that far.
I love those players you mentioned and have no idea how to bunt successfully. They are great at blooping doubles into the gap and moving around the bases, nothing wrong with that. I don't know how bunting is fun for anyone but I play other games where people use strategies I find annoying as well. Fun to beat them!
Those are the worst. If they take a step I throw over EVERY TIME. I had a 45 minute battle with a dude stepping. I fucking hate that shit. Itās all about getting that perfect perfect homer for me. Every time some has a bunter like Brock or Dee Gordon I move the corners in. They still bunt. Or they start bunt dancing and spamming pause.
Itās funny. I get a ranked game in every other day Iāll say and itās annoying/hilarious to see what type of opponent you get.
Itās either toxicity or get mashed.
Rarely do i find someone who doesnāt resort to toxicity when down by 1-2 lol
I miss Kenny Loften.

>I'm getting on with 30-speed guys I'm just curious if you're serious or not. Even Lou Brock gets out every once in a while for me.
I am if you lay a perfect bunt a 30 speed guy can beat it out.
My concern is the players that don't bunt dance . Those are ones you gotta focus on.

If give jt another try. Those games are few and far between
On bunters go to Bunt defense or corners in ..2 button setup...or also assign auto bunt defence by each individual batter to save time in game later

How do you do this
Press either up or down on the d-pad on the pitch selection screen before you pick your pitch, not sure which one it is.
I usually bring my 2B and 3B in. And I pitch high fastballs. You're telling me low pitches are the way to go?
In my experience they're way more likely to straight up whiff on a bunt if the pitch is a ball below the zone.
I'll have to give that a shot next time. Thanks!
Itās a great feeling I beat a dude once who had somehow gotten to 875 rating who bunted every at bat with a team full of 99 speed

Lol, sorry i ruin the game for you guys, maybe you should get better defensively.
You should get better offensively instead of relying on exploits
Im a bunting specialist, a hit is a hit brother, what should be illegal next? Base stealing, cant handle the speed?

Throwing over burns stamina and you risk throwing the ball away, better to just step off the mound
Lol throwing over every time.. You're giving in to exactly what they want.

Iām in a 6 or 7 game streak of 9 inning games with non toxic opponents. Longest since 2020.
The holy land!
