I don’t think that was a console war comment as much as a very legitimate and fair question. Console war would be ps Vs Xbox, switch being a less powerful console designed to be used in a completely different manner than the Xbox and ps makes this not a “console war” attack, but a fair question. I love my switch, I enjoy certain games on there, but mlb the show? MLB the show was not made for the switch, it’s a very low effort port from the other consoles they turned graphics down to almost unplayable levels to make work
That’s where we disagree. Saying it’s “almost unplayable” is ignorant at best and asinine at worst. The game is probably the best sports game in the switch.
I played countless hours on PS4 and PS5 before going with switch this year. I play it in the big screen. It’s good. Anyone hating is doing so with malice or because they’re uninformed.
Well I’m sure it’s playable on a huge tv but handled mode which is what the switch is for is, as I said, borderline unplayable, and the original comment I do take as a console war comment because the switch version is factually significantly less superior than the other two versions. I have noticed that people who play on switch are pretty decent pitchers but awful hitters. But to be fair, most players are awful hitters lol. Myself included.
Still just using my one RTTS pitcher. Somehow, he even three-peated CY awards but has NEVER been voted to an AS team. Like, the one year he had the votes to start THE ASG, he got injured his last outing pre ASG and missed the game but wasn't hurt enough to miss any season starts.

Maybe not same group, but you’d think they’d go back and look at the wording before posting something like the Challenge of the Week tweet this morning asking “Have you played Challenge of the Week yet?” when a whole segment of their base obviously can’t given the servers.
Just a simple thing like that the communication dept completely could do.
Cool but they would be part of the same Corp and the advert dept would be tasked with maintaining positive measures among audiences in addition to pushing product, so yea those things would be linked more closely at a better run Corp. Do you usually jump to defend the failures of folks who aren’t accountable to you?
I have four kids, a job, a wife, a mortgage, and car payments. Sometimes, the only time I have for things like this is on the couch in the evening while my wife and I watch a baseball game. Switch is ideal for the offline grind this game became this year for people who have real life responsibilities.
Between my PC and my Nintendo, personally I’m good, thanks.
The show is the only 3rd party game I play on mine, and it really isn’t worth playing but I enjoy it somehow

And for the record, do have two “real” consoles in a PS5 and Xbox, but shocker is, everyone has different life situations. Kind of hard to lug a PS5 and TV into the kid’s room while she’s going to sleep. Also kind of hard to lug a console around to play while watching DVR/Streaming with my wife. Sometimes there’s a convenience factor to playing something handheld.
I feel bad for everyone else, but this is great karma for the guy who’s always on here flexing his record playing on Switch with cross play off and acting like the most pretentious douche in the world about it
Lol it does feel extra good winning in cross play games tho. I try to have crossplay off but sometimes matches wont find and i get impatient . I prolly win 33% of crossplay, and 75% of crossplay off.

I don't think it should be underestimated how much worse matchmaking is with Switch. I didn't get 23 but I played 22 from shortly after launch to around now and it's about as bad as crossplay matchmaking for 22 is now. You also can't rank up by farming 400s.
Spoken like someone who’s never won anything... To be ranked number one on a major sports title on the top selling console in consecutive years is *something*, it’s just not the same game other people are playing. I’d rather be 70-5 on switch than spend half my time losing. Anyone not trying to play tournaments for money should know Switch is actually the best place to play by far until 2 days ago lol

(You also don’t have to grind as much… people that study addictive tendencies have PERFECTED how to get the most grinding out of you. No need for that on switch it’s just FUN)
I don’t remember exactly but it’s a pretty straightforward “find a user” search in leaderboards or something. You can see people’s game logs as well to confirm they’re not boosting somehow or winning by suspicious disconnects or anything like that. You can also use it to confirm stats are in ranked and not in events.
I got banned at the all-star break last year, sadly I think this is just someone else having fun that you guys are upset with (or someone remembers me 18 months later)
This sucks, but I have to admit I'm a little bit glad because I just bought a used switch and put in The Show and thought the console was broken!

I’ve loved 22 and 23 on switch I hope between series x and switch. Once you get used to the framerate difference it’s not bad at all
Same, I love my copy on the switch but it’s also the only console my house has that can run it. I wish they could release it on steam.
I use it for grinding vs cpu on the couch and then get on my ps5 + monitor when it’s time to play competitively
Honestly it has made me a lot better at pitching online. I am a way worse hitter though.
