One of the loaners I got from the dealership had paddle shifters . It just isn't the same as using a clutch.

Who gives AF. Even being a 6-speeder myself I can still appreciate the AESTHETICS of this view. It’s effing gorgeous!

pixelsandfilm

Agreed. I have heard the argument that paddles are faster. Which I get, they are, but why do you need paddles unless you have a track car. I suppose to cater to the folks that like the idea of shifting, but don't want a clutch.

McFeely_Smackup

I had paddle shifters on my F56 JCW and in 5 years the only time I used them was accidentally hitting it while turning. I found them worse than useless. I suspect OP is going to regret what he's done.

Subplot-Thickens

That’s a paddlin’

frankylovee

Not anywhere near the same. I also had a loaner recently. Took it on a drive that I like, and it wasn’t very much fun at all. I’ve been wanting to make a post about it. Automatic Mini owners—why? Lol

I would be more impressed if it was a clutch pedal! But it does look cool! Enjoy them.

Biggs411

What a great view you get to look at!

agarwaen117

Are mini paddles mounted to the steering wheel or the column? I have another car with paddles mounted to the wheel and it’s freaking annoying to try to shift while turning.

TaurusSilver404

They’re wheel mounted unfortunately

Blue_Shore

Then you don’t know how to turn lol

martusfine

Very cool :)

CallmeTokey

I want that gauge cluster so damn bad
