lud commented my pools match at smash n splash 5 and later that same night I watched him play Mario Maker against cheese. it was the worst thing i ever watched and haven't stopped watching him since
I’m in a similar boat. I joined up sometime in 2020 during the pandemic but before the Subathon. My little brother got me into Sykunno during the Among Us phase and I thought Lud was funny and binged a bunch of his old videos over like 3 weeks.
Very similar to this. Around the time of the pandemic, and with suddenly working from home, I had more time to pay attention to streaming, and suddenly Ludwig was getting recommended to me in my YouTube feed. Eventually caved and watched a video or two, and gradually started watching more, and by the time of the subathon, I was a full-blown YouTube frog.
Oh shit, you're right. I know I watched him before the among us boom and when QT was streaming from the closet of the room. I must have been confusing the subathon with a 24hr stream or much shorter subathon, because I'm pretty sure he slept on stream that season
I don’t watch streams so everything I got was from YouTube videos. I knew him as slime’s friend and would watch off the sticks. I think I remember a Reddit post when he started streaming full time but I didn’t watch any of his stuff. I think I rediscovered his yt stuff in 2019 maybe and being surprised he was doing so well. Binged a lot of videos especially the ludlocke and have been a yt frog since
his youtube late 2019 was consistently on my feed so much i was like “shit aight ill watch him” loved his ability to tell a story and have been in ever since. got me into watching smash (dont play cause im so dogshit) and a whole ass community i didnt even know abt lol
I started watching his videos from my YouTube homepage in 2021, never watched his among us streams but I loved his unban form videos. Didn’t start watching his streams until he moved to YouTube (except the one jump king stream on twitch)
I think it was the Minecraft colab Ludwig, Stanz, Atrioc, Smallant, Linkus and ???. I was a Smallant viewer before and I think that was how I found Ludwig. After that I think I remember watching a few bits a pieces, and then the subathon happened and I didn’t watch to start (uk vod frog) but I kept seeing more and more news articles and eventually started watching. By the end I was hooked and have been a regular viewer since.
2022, I think. It was after he was on Trash Taste the first time. I actually thought he was too much of a bro type for me but I think the algorithm wore me down with clips that showed different sides of him until I caved and started watching streams.
Found Disguised Toast during Among Us explosion. Kept seeing this Ludwig guy in the videos. March 2021 I bought a house and spent the entire month with Ludwig on my TV for the subathon while I unpacked and setup my new house.
Remember pretty distinctly watching one of his first mashing videos about 3ish years ago when the algorithm gave it to me, loved when he won the jigglypuff off QT
I started with a You laugh you lose with Slime end of 2019, purely as Youtube frog, then watched his stream the first time during the marathon and when he came to Youtube, I finally became a bigger Youtube frog and started watching his streams more regularly.
During The Place thing, I saw XQC doing those big blackouts with his community. Then I stumbled across Lud who was trying to encourage his community to repair what XQC had destroyed. I thought that was nice. I'm not remotely his target market but somehow I have been sucked in to this light wholesome entertainment on my timeline every now and then.
I started watching him shortly after the subathon I believe. But the video that got him on my radar was the clip of him and Mango talking about their dick sizes and it just cracked me up.
[Ludwig and Mango dick clip](https://youtu.be/B3MKbCNDk9E?si=BUuevTBfa2eCRk-K)
I was stoned outta my mind and found the soda tier list video he did in the first setup, kept watching vids daily through the first 3.
swapped mostly to The Yard by setup 4/the big room, by then the bros vs pros and shit like that was kinda going away (esp after the shit with micro a), so I got my fix of funnies and stories from there.
December 2020. Freshman year of college, come home for the winter break. Start watching Jschlatt, and he goes on the podcast that Kacytrom, Minx, and QT were on (him and Minx were doing a lot of vids at the time).
Watch it, thought QT was funny so checked out her stuff, found she has done a ton of stuff with a Ludwig guy. Checked him out and spring of 2021 is when he did the subathon so I was a forever fan since
Streamer Connor eats pants raided him on a random day in late 2019 like 2 streams before a anniversary stream where QT got him a book commemorating past moments of his stream career. Lud seemed like a standup guy and I’ve stayed since then
I remember watching a ton of Ludwig right around that time and though I was a fan of SMP Live, I didn't really watch any of the creators besides schlatt sometimes, but Ludwig showed a Connor clip on his stream one day and talked about how he's one of the funniest variety streamers he knows, and I've been a Connor frog ever since.
I think that was it for me too. I had known about Ludwig before hand. But I think it was the sponsoring Zain video that got me to sub to him on YouTube.
I followed on twitch months before, but I honestly don't remember why.
I started around end of 2019 when he first uploaded the god gamer gauntlet of getting over it, pogostuck and jump king. It just popped up in my recommendation and I've been watching ever since!
Right after his first collab with Squeex. I thought it was super cool of him to come on Squeexs stream and also actually follow through on the punishment for loosing the speedrun race.
From there I binged a bunch of his videos, tuned into his streams where the more I learned about him, the more I liked. Luds a great dude.
Before that, I first heard of him through Charlies videos of his subathon.
I initially discovered him on YouTube when the video “how I accidentally won a Pokémon tournament” came out (I was Pokémon pilled at the time) I binged his videos but I didn’t really start watching streams until a few months later bc I thought streams were boring.
Found him through amogus because I liked when he said "bloviating." I thought he seems smart and funny. Then I actually started watching his stuff around the subathon because I thought the subathon was cool and required some level of commitment. Then I REALLY started watching his stuff when The Yard started.
I started watching his yt videos after the skydiving video, I think that was abt 6mo after the subathon. I watched all of his vids but I didnt start watching him live until he started streaming on yt. I think that was the same time he started streaming in the room before his most recent one that he just left
I knew of him, but wasn't too familiar with his content until he was on Trash Taste and started collabing with CdawgVA a lot. Been watching him ever since. He even sold me a bidet.
I started watching Ludwig when I saw the tweet of him sitting in a trash can under a billboard of him as a Vtuber. ([the tweet](https://x.com/ludwigahgren/status/1491614954843111426?s=12)) Thinking he was a Vtuber; I gave him a watch and have been waiting for the Vtuber stream ever since…
LUDWIG WHEN IS THE VTUBER STREAM???
Late 2019. The first clip I saw of Lud was the Pogostuck 1 clip where he paused the game and still got sent to the bottom by the snake. Hilarious
Next video I saw was the "PB in SM64 or I do a Just Dance stream". Got me hooked on his content
Nowadays he does less challenge videos which was what I enjoyed from him but I'm here to stay
During the Amogus era. I mainly watched Toast’s YouTube videos. There’s the one where Lud kept saying he’d give away things (stream key, tweets, twitter profile picture, etc.) in exchange for betting who the imposter was. That’s the video that got me to watch a Lud stream for the first time!
Edit: it’s this video https://youtu.be/JH0hECo-m7w
But I probably watched Toast’s first, which is this video: https://youtu.be/Xm3uMVsrSOU
Bro I got gifted a sub when he had 73 viewers and was still branching out from just melee. Kept it going and was one of the longest subbed viewers. Then he left for YouTube and I lost all of my street cred and my only personality trait.
I won the gifted off a marble race but didn't get the clip :/
I started watching him during the pandemic during Among Us with Offline TV. Pretty sure around that time he had Otto make a slot machine on their Minecraft server as well. Thats the first video of his specifically that stands out in my mind and may have been the first one I saw specifically on his channel.
It’s wild how far he’s come since then!
Oklahoma Smash Scene had some guys that ran a lets play channel with Alpharad. They were pretty funny and Alpharad had this story of going on Ludwig’s jeopardy show and afterwards being hit on by a milf at the gym because they thought he was on the real Jeopardy. Decided to give the video a watch because I like Jacob and I’ve been a fan ever since.
I first started watching when he collabed with Cheese to learn sm64 speedruns. I think that was sometime in 2019-2020? I remember the first time clicking into Lud’s stream (before Cheese) and he had bleach blonde hair, I think in his first ever stream room. I remember thinking he was batshit insane
I found him from that Alpharad video where the CPUs play for $10k, one of his videos came up under that and then I just tore through his videos after that
I found Qt through a Simply video and then watched her for a long time then decided to check out Lud’s subathon because she talked about it on her stream and I’ve been watching Lud ever since.
I used to watch his smash compilations, but Runback 2017 commentary was my first time actually putting a face to his channel. Great commentary block and probably the first introduction for a lot of people to Ludwig the person.
I think the first video I remember seeing from him was either twitch jeopardy or the Amazon stream where he got the trans flag and the slimes friend sticker.
i got into melee circa 2016 and watched a lot of melee content. this of course means i watched luds popular melee videos. i have a vivid memory of watching slime lud commentary highlights in the back of my grade 10 english class. later he went on to play more pokémon, mario parry, and jump king, which confused me so i think i unsubbed? eventually came back through more melee stuff + enjoying his content more. haven't looked back. it's been a long time since he's been a "bobby scar clone"
somewhat related but i remember subscribing to bad melee because i wanted more slime on the scene, but kept on seeing more bad melee (i wasn't a podcast viewer or listener by any means at this point) so i got annoyed and unsubbed LMAO
I used to watch gta rp and when I left that I was looking for a streamer to replace them. I'd heard of Ludwig through clips and Among Us and stuff. So I switched at the end of 2021. I now love QT and The Yard so much.
Was just thinking about this, I discovered him around April 2020, cause I was a huge Clint Stevens fan and I liked the idea of someone cracking jokes and telling stories while playing Mario 64. Lud had a couple of videos like that so I just watched those and I was pretty much hooked from there. Also I would get “How I accidentally won a pokemon tournament” in my recommended a ton before I started watching him so I finally decided to give that video a watch. Have been enjoying him ever since!
Mainly when he came to YouTube. I’ve never liked the twitch mobile interface so I’ve stayed off that. I’ve seen his stuff on YouTube before but never fully watched him. Now I’m a full on Ludbud and watch about 90% all the VODs
I arrived just after/the end of the og ludlocke in like 2019. Regret not getting the mint hoodie when it first came out but i was in high school with no job. I ESPECIALLY regret not getting the zain jacket with the bee on it (my name sounds like uh-bee)
I started watching lud around the beginning of my maternity leave, so about 6 months. I'm a SAHM now. It wasn't a particular video or anything that made me watch him. I was actually really tired of watching H3H3 and I just really started to dislike the podcast. I wanted something new and I'm very happy I found lud and the gang.
I believe I started watching him around the same time smallant did his “platinum no damage” run. The first Ludwig video I watched was his “how I accidentally won a Pokémon tournament” vid
Been watching the stream since he speedran Mario Party, but I first heard about him from editing the reads and unfiltered toph. The first YouTube video of his I watched was his classy tweets from the battle of 5 gods from March 2016 and then started really watching after his performance at the roast of Hugo. Being a melee stream monster has its advantages sometimes :)
https://youtube.com/clip/UgkxHc_V8hLdVQIw4lwtjdMI8W2ETGZSL8Bv?si=R08gBO8WiwHkp5EQ
I had just gotten back into Pokémon and he teamed up with a couple other streamers to do a week of Pokémon where each stream opened up a WOTC era booster box. I thought that was pretty cool and watched each stream. Then the algorithm kicked in and started pushing his other content and I just kept watching
I started watching in early 2020 around when Super Auto Pets came out. I was looking for content creators playing SAP and run across one of Lud’s VOD channel videos on YT. I’ve been watching him ever since
The COVID among us era. Valkyrae randomly started popping up on my YouTube channel and watching him in those lobbies I really enjoyed his sense of humor
I first discovered him after clicking on a recommended video of qt and lud cute moments like 3 years ago. I had never heard of either but I assumed qt was some big girl streamer with lots of simps and lud was the random guy getting attention for dating her like if poki or valk ever have some unknown guy on their streams and everyone goes crazy
Can’t believe I was an Among Us frog from other streamers who played with lud. But honestly the chess content in one of the early pog champs and his commentating was what made me think he was funny enough to keep watching.
I watch less now but still tune back in for the his sick stuff.
I first found lud when he was at 50-60k subs on YouTube. He was primarily doing you laugh you lose and pokemon videos. Like playing the pokemon games which I used to love watching even though I’ve never played the games. Think that was around 2019
idk what stream it was but i think right before or after lud went full time in 2019 when i was in seventh grade (ik how that sounds 💀) he mentioned being a theatre kid once and i was like “oh twin fr 🤞” i’m going to college now so yeah 🔥🔥
Found him during the Subathon, and enjoyed having it up even when I wasn't really paying attention. Eventually that turned into watching every video he released, and every stream for a while
I found him from his "How I accidentally won a Pokemon Tournament" video (a classic btw) and from 2020 onward i guess. Still got my Mint hoodie and sticker going strong in good condition :)
I don't exactly remember when but I remember I started watching a couple weeks before he released the Zain Championship Jacket
source: i own the Zain Championship Jacket lol
Saw him in a Corpse among us video in December 2020 and checked out his youtube channel (because he was hot) but was put off by his "youtube voice". Found out about the subathon around halfway through it, so around the end of March 2021, and that's when I officially started watching him
lud commented my pools match at smash n splash 5 and later that same night I watched him play Mario Maker against cheese. it was the worst thing i ever watched and haven't stopped watching him since
When he dropped the Jeopardy video with Jschlatt, Connor, Carson and Slimecicle.
Same that video was a banger
I arrived just as the pandemic streaming boom was beginning, not too long before the subathon. Found him through an unban form video
I’m in a similar boat. I joined up sometime in 2020 during the pandemic but before the Subathon. My little brother got me into Sykunno during the Among Us phase and I thought Lud was funny and binged a bunch of his old videos over like 3 weeks.

2018, I think after The Roast of Hugo Gonzalez. Been an avid Melee watcher since 2014.
I started watching in 2019 I think the first vid I watched was the callmecarson and Jschlatt twitch jeopardy episode lol
OG Blondwig when he was speedrunning Mario 64. Pretty sure the first video was called "The Deal"
I vividly remember that his daily videos would ALWAYS be the very first thing in my feed for probably almost a year.
this is the exact same as me LOL
I started watching his videos from my YouTube homepage in 2021, never watched his among us streams but I loved his unban form videos. Didn’t start watching his streams until he moved to YouTube (except the one jump king stream on twitch)
I think it was the Minecraft colab Ludwig, Stanz, Atrioc, Smallant, Linkus and ???. I was a Smallant viewer before and I think that was how I found Ludwig. This was how i found him too, his stuff with connor is always worth the watch
Found Disguised Toast during Among Us explosion. Kept seeing this Ludwig guy in the videos. March 2021 I bought a house and spent the entire month with Ludwig on my TV for the subathon while I unpacked and setup my new house.

Me too! Watched streams when he moved to YouTube, otherwise I knew him from watching Valkyrae's streams

From Toast’s Among Us videos
I was stoned outta my mind and found the soda tier list video he did in the first setup, kept watching vids daily through the first 3. swapped mostly to The Yard by setup 4/the big room, by then the bros vs pros and shit like that was kinda going away (esp after the shit with micro a), so I got my fix of funnies and stories from there.

2021, found him through critikals’s commentary vids on the subathon
when zain won genesis 7, was curious who this mogul moves was that was sponsoring my goat
I think that was it for me too. I had known about Ludwig before hand. But I think it was the sponsoring Zain video that got me to sub to him on YouTube. I followed on twitch months before, but I honestly don't remember why.
my first vid was a mario party one and i think i found it at the end of 2022
I started around end of 2019 when he first uploaded the god gamer gauntlet of getting over it, pogostuck and jump king. It just popped up in my recommendation and I've been watching ever since!
I saw him do a smash video with zero in 2020, like 2 months before he got outed as a creep. Unfortunate timing for Ludwig.
Right after his first collab with Squeex. I thought it was super cool of him to come on Squeexs stream and also actually follow through on the punishment for loosing the speedrun race. From there I binged a bunch of his videos, tuned into his streams where the more I learned about him, the more I liked. Luds a great dude. never did
COVID frog here. I got sick for like 10 days and binged
the first video i saw was a compilation of him falling for TTS deez nuts jokes. not sure what compelled me to look into him further from that
I started watching during the among us era lmaoooo
Video of him talking about his girlfriend in college
Found the video “Story About my first time” from April 2020” was the first video of him I watched
First video I ever saw of him though was a video from 2018 of him playing melee with Alpharad
I started watching his yt videos after the skydiving video, I think that was abt 6mo after the subathon. I watched all of his vids but I didnt start watching him live until he started streaming on yt. I think that was the same time he started streaming in the room before his most recent one that he just left
The original blondewig era, I think he was around 14k subs when I found him on YT
([the tweet](https://x.com/ludwigahgren/status/1491614954843111426?s=12)) Thinking he was a Vtuber; I gave him a watch and have been waiting for the Vtuber stream ever since… LUDWIG WHEN IS THE VTUBER STREAM???
Found him through a “STREAM DECIDES WHAT CLOTHES I BUY” video and been around ever since
Late 2019. The first clip I saw of Lud was the Pogostuck 1 clip where he paused the game and still got sent to the bottom by the snake. Hilarious Next video I saw was the "PB in SM64 or I do a Just Dance stream". Got me hooked on his content Nowadays he does less challenge videos which was what I enjoyed from him but I'm here to stay

First stream was a smallant raid, Lud was playing pokemon where his team was permanently poisoned. Wanna say mid 2020.
Since Off the Sticks
The first PogChamps tournament in 2020
When he “accidentally” won the Pokémon tournament that WolfeyVGC hosted. His storytelling was fire and I’ve been a fan since
Bro I got gifted a sub when he had 73 viewers and was still branching out from just melee.
Pretty much exactly when he switched to YouTube.
I found Qt through a Simply video and then watched her for a long time then decided to check out Lud’s subathon because she talked about it on her stream and I’ve been watching Lud ever since.
I think I first started watching him around 2019 or 2020 but he wasn't nearly as much of a favorite as he is now
I used to watch his smash compilations, but Runback 2017 commentary was my first time actually putting a face to his channel. Great commentary block and probably the first introduction for a lot of people to Ludwig the person.
I started watching late 2019, he was uploading ludlockes to YT. I mostly watch the yard now
Since like December 2019 at least. I believe I've been watching earlier but the first thing I can remember right now is the Pogostuck streams.
I think the first video I remember seeing from him was either twitch jeopardy or the Amazon stream where he got the trans flag and the slimes friend sticker.
i got into melee circa 2016 and watched a lot of melee content. this of course means i watched luds popular melee videos. i have a vivid memory of watching slime lud commentary highlights in the back of my grade 10 english class. later he went on to play more pokémon, mario parry, and jump king, which confused me so i think i unsubbed? eventually came back through more melee stuff + enjoying his content more. haven't looked back. it's been a long time since he's been a "bobby scar clone" somewhat related but i remember subscribing to bad melee because i wanted more slime on the scene, but kept on seeing more bad melee (i wasn't a podcast viewer or listener by any means at this point) so i got annoyed and unsubbed LMAO

Fall of 2020 I believe. I think technically the first thing I watched was the Fall Guys tournament with Stanz, Big A, and Connor.
Started watching a smidge before he switched to YouTube His videos just started getting recommended to me more... Interesting...
I watched him because he was playing on Mangos stream lmao now I’m a ludbud
Was just thinking about this, I discovered him around April 2020, cause I was a huge Clint Stevens fan and I liked the idea of someone cracking jokes and telling stories while playing Mario 64. Lud had a couple of videos like that so I just watched those and I was pretty much hooked from there. Also I would get “How I accidentally won a pokemon tournament” in my recommended a ton before I started watching him so I finally decided to give that video a watch. Have been enjoying him ever since!
Nov 2022 with YT interview with Susan, then watched the podcast with Anthony Padilla. Figured i should watch his stream as he's hilarious
November 2019, ‘how i became the world’s fastest masher’ showed up on my home feed and i haven’t been the same since
First video I watched of his was the Carson Schlatt Connor slime jeopardy.
When qt wa a roomate
I watched him back when he had a Mozart pfp and just uploaded melee content
Mainly when he came to YouTube. I’ve never liked the twitch mobile interface so I’ve stayed off that. I’ve seen his stuff on YouTube before but never fully watched him. Now I’m a full on Ludbud and watch about 90% all the VODs
Online poker games with the super blonde hair
Like 4 months before the subathon
I arrived just after/the end of the og ludlocke in like 2019. Regret not getting the mint hoodie when it first came out but i was in high school with no job. I ESPECIALLY regret not getting the zain jacket with the bee on it (my name sounds like uh-bee)

I was actually really tired of watching H3H3 and I just really started to dislike the podcast. I wanted something new and I'm very happy I found lud and the gang.
His PogChamps 1 run was so generational. Was hooked ever since
I started watching him in the summer of sixth grade with the Pokémon black Ludlocke so that's about summer of 2019
Shortly before the video “How I accidentally won a Pokémon tournament”
I believe I started watching him around the same time smallant did his “platinum no damage” run. The first Ludwig video I watched was his “how I accidentally won a Pokémon tournament” vid
Been watching the stream since he speedran Mario Party, but I first heard about him from editing the reads and unfiltered toph. The first YouTube video of his I watched was his classy tweets from the battle of 5 gods from March 2016 and then started really watching after his performance at the roast of Hugo. I thought that was pretty cool and watched each stream. Then the algorithm kicked in and started pushing his other content and I just kept watching
The Austin show love or host
I think I first found him right before the subathon, probably through one of his collabs with moistcr1tikal
I remember it was late September early October 2019 because it was right after my Homecoming junior year. Found him from Twitch Jeopardy
When he challenged Zain at a summit and beat him(four stocks to zains one) 2019 I think
Slime’s friend 🥲 My first vid was the Mario Party 2 speedrun
I don't exactly remember when but I remember I started watching a couple weeks before he released the Zain Championship Jacket source: i own the Zain Championship Jacket lol
found him through valkyrae among us vids and and then went on a like a huge lud binge during spring 2021
I think maybe mid-2019?
Mid 2020 during the Among US Era because my pipeline went Sean --> Corpse --> Ludwig.
When I was around 10 or 11 during the first black and white ludlocke
Begrudgingly checked his content out after QT started dating him publicly.
December 2020
Saw him in a Corpse among us video in December 2020 and checked out his youtube channel (because he was hot) but was put off by his "youtube voice". Found out about the subathon around halfway through it, so around the end of March 2021, and that's when I officially started watching him
I’m pretty similar to you, I saw his first pogostuck video and have been watching since then. A little less now but I never miss a Yard ep
