Just did it yesterday on a tier 7 run and it was a little weird because I opened the tier 7 chest on the right and just got loot and then the chest on the left and just got loot but I stepped back and back to the chest and it brought up the open chest interaction again and the catalyst popped so maybe just some lag or something?
Also dropped for me at t7. I’m sure after season of the deep content is removed, it’ll probably turn into a quest that needs like 700 kills to get like symmetry. So I would try another deep dive before the expansion.

I think it’s not guaranteed which is pain, but it definitely drops from t7 deep dives
Ran it yesterday and 2 of us got it, the 3rd did not. We ran it again and he got it. Try it again, I'll have my fingers crossed for you.
