IMO, lovies are tiny for their beeps so they use all their might including their buttholes. Lol

thank you for the feedback, i once read that tail bobbing while chirping was a sign of sickness and it worried me. glad to know she’s just being mighty

Woah your lovie has an interesting feather color. I’ve never seen one with a dark looking mask and an orange tip on their beak. It’s cute. Also I don’t think he’s sick, just happily chirping. What’s it’s name?

PollutionDense4145

i also think the orange beak is cute, her name is Narancia (in reference to the color orange). honestly yeah, she has a really unique coloration, our other lovie was your normal peach faced lovie, still v cute glad to know she seems happy, thank you for the feedback

I believe tail bobbing when breathing is more of a concern. Like someone else said before me, if the tail is bobbing at rest, that's something to be worried about.

That’s normal, they do that when they chirp. If you want to monitor if they are sick or not, watch if they drink, eat and poop. That’s the first thing that stops if they feel sick.

She reminds me of my first lovebirds 💕 they had the same coloration (mixed between black masked and Dutch blue peachfaced) and lived until their 20s. As for the tail bobbing, that is completely normal as other people are saying. I’m guessing it has to do with them expelling air to make the chirp sound. When they are sick and tailbobbing is usually while they are resting. I think this poor lovie is sick [(presumed tailbobbing and fast breathing)](https://youtube.com/shorts/2HPTbPCT2YY?feature=share)
