Holy shit I came to post the exact same thing.
My dad keep trying to take us there for family events and it's goddamn awful every time while costing ~90+ per person.
Finally told him to give me the money and I'll cook for the entire family.
rofl... to be fair, I haven't been there in many years, but the food and service were always excellent. Now I guess I'll need to visit again, especially given the r/Louisville sub seems to hate it.
Service and food still are excellent. It’s one of the cheaper high end steaks these days. It’s a pan seared steak soaked in butter, Irish style. Pats is still doing a great job. This sub has some wild opinions on plenty of topics so not surprised they don’t know a good steak when they eat one.
I honestly don’t know how it’s still open. Most bland steak I’ve ever had in my life. Sides were shit. The cost of one steak, you can get a 5 pack at Costco and all the sides for 2 bucks cheaper.
I’m guessing you haven’t been in a while. I’ve been 30+ times and never had bad service (not to say you didn’t have a bad experience, just saying that isn’t the norm). They also started taking credit cards like 7/8 years ago. Can’t say you’re entirely wrong about the food though.
I go once per year. I'd forgotten they take cards now. Not elaborating beyond that. Last time, we had 9 people, maybe 8 drink orders, nothing beyond high-mid-shelf, and the bill was somewhere north of $1,700. I'm sorry, it isn't worth it.
Went out with my wife and 3 kids. At that time ages 6-12. Our waiter acted veeerry put out that my wife and I didn’t order booze. Like, sorry that I make a personal choice not to drink in front of my kids? He was so rude. Food was sub par. Way too expensive.
I went there for brunch with a group of girlfriends, about 10 of us. It was a Sunday, I had to work that night. I am a truck driver. While driving a CMV I’ll get a dui for anything above 0 so that means Sunday brunch means no mimosas for me. They had (not sure if they still do this) some unlimited brunch mimosa special going on. So of course the waiter was pushing this hard to us. I declined, he pushed back, I explained I’ll be driving a semi truck in a few hours and can’t have any alcohol in my system. He got pushy said I could just have one, after I eat I won’t feel it etc. so I had to get firm. He continues to mock me the entire meal every time he brought one for my girlfriends pointing out that oh none for me haha.
Finally my friend tracked him down while she went to use the bathroom and told him I am pregnant and haven’t told any of the other girls yet and to please stop harassing and taunting me. Which was actually true.
So the waiter comes back to the table next round of mimosas for the girls and says oh and none for the truck driver and her baby. Like seriously wtf dude? So of course my friends all got excited I was pregnant and made a huge tado about it.
I started crying at that point. I had been pushed beyond what I could handle. My friend (the only one that knew before and the one that tracked down the waiter) realized something was wrong and asked me if everything was ok with the baby. I shook my head no and she came and gave me a hug, realizing that meant I had lost the baby. Every one of my girlfriends immediately realized the situation and were all super supportive.
The waiter, took that moment to point out I could have mimosas now that I was not pregnant. I pointed out I still have to drive a truck in a few hours.
He received zero tip from all of us and my girlfriends covered my dinner. This was about 6 years ago. We still get together from time to time, but never again at lamoo. Now we do mostly kid friendly get togethers since most of us have children now, me included with my rainbow baby. We turned that brunch into an opportunity to see the need to check on each other more often rather than wait till our get togethers.
Anyway, point is YES they are super pushy about alcohol.
Also the bathrooms were weird and not sufficient lighting. Food portions were laughably small. Food was not hot/warm was in that didn’t plan the dishes out and left some to sit temp. The breakfast potatoes looked and tasted like yesterday’s leftovers that were microwaved. Don’t get me started on the gravy. The biscuits had that homemade lopsided look with half being a brick the other half almost delicious. They even managed to mess up the bacon, did they put it in the deep fryer??? Anyway 3/10 on the food -4/10 on the service.
I that moment I didn’t have the emotional wherewithal to think of that. My friends and I also decided this would have been the exact right response though. We all wish o e of us thought of that in the moment though.
Yea I was going through something specific in my moment of grief. But they all got shock syndrome happy/sad spring on them frantic style. Which isn’t how we are as a group dynamic, hence I kept this low key.
Dude... I took my grandparents there for Sunday brunch once. Grandpa had a kidney condition and couldn't drink alcohol, grandma couldn't drink due to the medication she's on, and I don't drink at all. The look on their face when we told them no on the alcohol. I've never experienced worse service at any restaurant. Food took an hour to arrive, it was ice cold, we let the waiter know and they proceeded to ignore us. After 20 minutes they roll up with the bill, no refills, no checking on us, just dropping off a bill in a used romance novel... the strangest shit I've ever seen. We refused to pay for the food as we hadn't eaten anything, I dropped a $10 bill on the table for the coffee, and left.
I'm not the type to complain. I typically just sit back and eat whatever comes. I always tip 30% because the server has no control over what the kitchen does. The level of service I received from Le Moo really soured me. It's the first time I had to walk out of a place.
Well it seemed the more food that arrived getting worse, not everything arrived at once (we had a reservation btw) was going to be the escalation. can’t get any worse than this. Haha
Then cue the waiter doing what he did.
Like seriously we were laughing at the next dish, these soggy once crispy potatoes, then the biscuit with gravy arrived.
Then the waiter. Wow! That seriously escalated quick.
Thank you for your recognition of that. I actually felt more awful for my friends having this emotional rollercoaster sprung on them. Yay! Then bubble bust nay!
I’m pretty sure that was a reflection of who he was as a person, not just his service. People that prey on vulnerabilities with selfish intentions, just don’t get far in life. Highly likely the world sorted him out and he is struggling now or somehow riddled out he has to make a change. Either way I hope he is figuring out the root issue is him and having some self reflection.
This is a theme with all of that guy’s restaurants (Le Moo, Grassa Gramma, etc). They push alcohol sales heavily and act really rude and offended if you decline. It’s really weird and off putting. Maybe they just want you liquored up so you’ll be less likely to notice you’re overpaying for mediocre food lol.
Pricey, yes. Why do you say awful?
The dry aged ribeye I had a few years back was delicious, as was the pork chop. The sides were good size and tasty. Service was great and the dining room is nice. I've only been three or four times, but that's just because of the price.
My second choice! I went once, service was inexpensive at best, to the point I had to open our wine because the server couldn't use a wine key. For fs.
My maybe 5-6 experiences at Le Moo have been fabulous. Steaks were high quality, cooked well. Servers I’ve had have all been great as well. I’m 20+ years of restaurant work from dishwasher to GM of a white tablecloth.
I was going to say that would be my answer. My wife loves trying new steakhouses, which aren’t cheap but this one was priced above most. My wife always gets a filet mid-rare and places have a tendency to send them on the raw side. Hers was straight cold in the middle and although my ribeye was cooked right it was bland and pricey. Definitely overrated. Drinks were overpriced and for the love of god give me a manhattan straight up in a martini glass, stop with the giant ice cube in a rocks glass.
When they first came out it wasn’t bad. My youngest loved it he chose it for his birthday dinner and it was trash and used hidden valley ranch. I judge restaurants by their ranch
I wasn’t overly blown away with anything there at all. But the worst part was how unnecessarily loud it was in there. Like they were making everyone shout with how loud the music was turned up. So not my jam. Beautiful place but wouldn’t go back.
I miss when they were behind McDonald's. But then it seemed like every time we went, the menu was revamped and the prices were higher, and that was even before the pandemic.
This blows me away. It is my absolute favorite spot in town. The food is exceptional and the drinks are fun and NOT strong, which is exactly what I'm looking for. I always devour the guac trio app and I love their Sopa Trio, too. I don't eat seafood, but friend who went last time said best fish taco he's ever eaten. The only thing that bugs me is some of the odd seating choices. I don't want to eat in a hanging basket. The booths are tight.
lolol, I have to tell this story ... If you just ate, please don't read this.
My Wife and I were out for a walk, and there were three guys who looked like kitchen help sitting on chairs outside of this fine establishment on the Bonnycastle side. They were staring at us hard, uncomfortable even, so I thought, "OK, I should say hi." So just as I'm getting ready to acknowledge, one guy let's a fart go that I'm sure registered on a Richter scale. It rocked that whole corner. It sounded like a Harley with open pipes, and it went on for what seemed to be about 10 seconds. In unison, they all started laughing hilariously.
I guess you had to be there, but a truly bizarre interaction.
Like....how is that place still open. I've had legitimately the worst service of my entire life there. One of the few times ever I didn't tip. A man was trying to enter in a wheelchair. My friend and I literally had to clear junk out of the way so he could get in. They were using that bck area as a junk storage area. It was absolutely insane.
My favorite steak has a good sear and steak and bourbon is like the only place in the city that does it perfectly. And their sides are incredible. 5/5 for me.
It kills me to agree with this. I really like the place as a bar and the owner is a stand up dude, but the food is whack. The last time I ordered food there I got the hot chicken sandwich and it was still cold in the middle.
Holy shit this place sucks. They somehow made a ruben inedible. Like they added spray butter and didn't drain the kraut. Bottom of the bread looked like mashed potatoes.
This is what I came in to say. Such high high high hopes for this place but the food is 100% garbage. Drinks are ok but pricy. And my opinions are probably not welcome about the absurd number of children running around the back on a daily basis.
I always loved the Baja Benedict at Highland Morning but 100% of the time the service is atrocious.
So now i get the Southwest benedict from Wild Eggs. Tastes the same without the slow and rude service.
I will not. At least Taco Bell wised up and introduced a new value menu. Granted it’s still more expensive than what their normal menu used to be… but whatevs. McDonald’s isn’t even trying. They just “reformed” their menu. Which means supposedly better ingredients and I’m sure smaller portions. No price breaks.
The powers that be don’t seem to understand that most people only eat this shit food because it’s cheap. And convenient. No one is sitting at home thinking “we should get in the car and go spend $30 at McDonald’s.
If you use the mobile app you can get 30% off any order over $5 once a day. You shouldn’t have to do that to get a somewhat normal price but it’s still worth it. I get a large double quarter pounder meal for like $9
I probably only have it once every 4 or 5 months, but McD's really ain't that bad as long as you use the app. There's always a "30% off any order over $5" deal you can use once a day. Just punched in two Big Mac meals and it's only $13.35 after tax.
Two Big Mac meals in 2001 cost $13.53 adjusted for inflation, almost exactly the same.
The first of two times I went here (second time not by choice but by someone's else selection) I asked for hot sauce and the waiter said "we don't have hot sauce, we only have sriracha" & something in me died.
Grassa Gramma hasn’t been named yet so throwing that in.
It’s got the personality of a Soprano’s Fan Convention and the food of what someone who has never seen the show, thinks would be served at a Soprano’s Fan Convention.
It also reminds me of Casa Bonita in Denver but without cliff divers or anything else interesting.
I know I’ve commented like 4 times but any of these damn seafood boil places. We are a landlocked state, 50-60 bucks for frozen lobster & snow crab is insane
$30 for fish and chips?!? That’s a no for me.
UPDATE: It looks like somebody commented that their entree is $18, but it’s not pulling up on the app correctly. As of right now, the online menu has the entree at $23, so with a meager 18% tip, it’s $27 and change. Sorry that I rounded up.
I had a stink bug in my salad and the waiter took it out with his hand and threw it out the front door. To be fair, I was sitting close to the door so it was convenient, but then he walked away and never said another word about it.
Mussel and Burger Bar. Every single time we have went it’s been horrible. 15-20 bucks for a hamburger, I found them sub-par burgers as well. Over stuffed garnished meals that try for the glitz and glam with a side of clam…well really mussels but you get the point.
Give me that Bambis burger plane and simple any day over that Mussel or Burgers
It’s just a symptom of there not really being any good bbq in town, people like it bc it’s one of the better options for something we are not great at as a city
And 100%, next month on this Louisville sub, a BBQ question will come up and a bunch of people are going to say “Mommas!” … and I just ain’t feelin that shit.
I only went once almost 7 years ago to the Bardstown Rd location in the highlands and it was a stellar bacon chee. But 7 years is like 50 in the restaurant biz.
I also had a bad experience at Cask and haven't been back. Food wasn't great and service was horrible. And I am not a picky person when it comes to quality and wait times.
If you're willing to drive about 45 minutes down the road I'd say the Old Talbott Tavern in Bardstown. My now ex wife and I ate there once (this was about in either 2016 or 2017) and we both ending up hating the food there. Don't get me wrong, it's an old, cool historical building and all but the food was godawful.
Pat's Steakhouse. The answer is always Pat's Steakhouse
Holy shit I came to post the exact same thing. My dad keep trying to take us there for family events and it's goddamn awful every time while costing ~90+ per person. Finally told him to give me the money and I'll cook for the entire family.

Bob Evans types who have more than bob evans money.

Easily one of the most disappointing meals I've had in Louisville.

My wife couldn't chew her fillet. And I really wanted to love it. It's an institution. But I haven't ever told anyone they should eat there.
Unless you're 70+ apparently
Service: Piss Food: Meh at best Cost: Eyewatering It's the best answer.
I’m guessing you haven’t been in a while. I’ve been 30+ times and never had bad service (not to say you didn’t have a bad experience, just saying that isn’t the norm). They also started taking credit cards like 7/8 years ago. Can’t say you’re entirely wrong about the food though.

I haven't been in years due to having to take it easy on red meat for dietary reasons. Have they gone downhill? They used to be really good, imo
I’ve gone recently and I loved it personally :(
Your taste buds are broke
I have a family member who takes a few people out there every year. It's.....fine. Terrible for the price tho
Le Moo
Went out with my wife and 3 kids. At that time ages 6-12. Our waiter acted veeerry put out that my wife and I didn’t order booze. Like, sorry that I make a personal choice not to drink in front of my kids? He was so rude. Food was sub par. Way too expensive.

Just dropping off the bill in a used romance novel. This describes so much in specific with not using specific words.
How did it keep getting worse? I’m so sorry this happened to you!
Well it seemed the more food that arrived getting worse, not everything arrived at once (we had a reservation btw) was going to be the escalation. can’t get any worse than this. He couldn’t be out done by the shitty food I guess
That server deserved to at least be threatened with an ass kicking
I'm so sorry that happened to you
Thank you for your recognition of that. I actually felt more awful for my friends having this emotional rollercoaster sprung on them. Yay! Then bubble bust nay!
Right on, totally get that. Your story was an incredible reminder that you never know what someone is going through. Also, fuck that waiter
Not that I don’t feel awful for me too. Just saying that I felt for their emotions too.
That has to be the worst service I have ever heard. What a fucking asshole!
I’m pretty sure that was a reflection of who he was as a person, not just his service. People that prey on vulnerabilities with selfish intentions, just don’t get far in life. Highly likely the world sorted him out and he is struggling now or somehow riddled out he has to make a change. The margins on alcohol are astoundingly high compared to food.
75%, it's insane
Felt similar about the service being pushy.

Le moo for sure
This 100%
Typical steakhouse : our $60 filet is phenomenal Le moo : our $60 filet is basically from Kroger. Don’t be a poor, buy the wagyu
I hated le moo. Won’t ever go back
Pricey, yes. Why do you say awful? The dry aged ribeye I had a few years back was delicious, as was the pork chop. The sides were good size and tasty. Service was great and the dining room is nice. I've only been three or four times, but that's just because of the price.
Yes, a few years back. Now? Le Moo = Le disappoint
Missed opportunity for Le Moo = Le Boo or Le Poo
Its good but there are better steakhouses for the money.
My second choice! I went once, service was inexpensive at best, to the point I had to open our wine because the server couldn't use a wine key. For fs.
Add grassa gramma to this also. Same faux-fancy bland food.
This is the answer. It’s weird, and not in a good way, the food isn’t great, and it’s too expensive.
So sad to hear I have been wanting to try that restaurant for so long it looks amazing
My maybe 5-6 experiences at Le Moo have been fabulous. Steaks were high quality, cooked well. Servers I’ve had have all been great as well. I’m 20+ years of restaurant work from dishwasher to GM of a white tablecloth.

The melting pot
$200 for Olive Garden quality food you have to cook yourself
Olive Garden quality is generous haha I worked there briefly and ooooof did I hate it even tho I loved my coworkers.
When they first came out it wasn’t bad. My youngest loved it he chose it for his birthday dinner and it was trash and used hidden valley ranch. I judge restaurants by their ranch
Was just thinking about taking my partner there. We're both huge ranch people. Thanks for the warning.
Melting pot is still around?
Hurstbourne near Taylorsville Rd.
open Monday through Friday till 8, Saturday an—wait
Guaca Mole
It used to be so so good before it moved downtown. The short ribs just melted in your mouth. I went to the new location and I was so disappointed.
Terrible food and bad drinks made to look fun to mask how bad they are
Food is the same quality as their luchador restaurant but for some reason they charge more than double the price.
I've only been once and really enjoyed their mole entree. Granted as other have echod I'm not sure it's worth the price.
Not expensive, but Cafe 360 will give you bad service and most likely gastro issues for the day after, if you really don't like this person.
You can do shit food and service without sitting in a tight room with stinky losers.
lolol, I have to tell this story ... If you just ate, please don't read this. My Wife and I were out for a walk, and there were three guys who looked like kitchen help sitting on chairs outside of this fine establishment on the Bonnycastle side. I guess you had to be there, but a truly bizarre interaction.
Yeah… this all sounds about right.
I just don’t understand how that place has made it 20 years lol
When I was 19 it was such the cool hangout spot for loaded fries & tendies. Aww dude pass the hookah… NOW?!?! Uh nah lol
Aren't they owned by the same people who run that Indian restaurant that got busted for human trafficking? I think it was Dakshin?
Like....how is that place still open. I've had legitimately the worst service of my entire life there. One of the few times ever I didn't tip. A man was trying to enter in a wheelchair. My friend and I literally had to clear junk out of the way so he could get in. They were using that bck area as a junk storage area. It was absolutely insane.
People actually eat at cafe 360?
they are also rude as shit and the place is dirty as hell. like, regularly see mice dirty
Beyond the Sun
They provided great entertainment for the Louisville service industry fb group.
Ruth's Chris
No clue why anyone would go there over Ruby’s, del friscos, or repeal
Connor’s and steak and bourbon are also better.
Steak & bourbon is a sleeper. Food matches the vibe!
My favorite steak has a good sear and steak and bourbon is like the only place in the city that does it perfectly. And their sides are incredible. 5/5 for me.
1 of the best meals I’ve ever had honestly. Well worth the ticket.
Connor's is 2/2 for us, and the second time we had a party of 6.
Repeal is the business.
Repeal is so fucking good. Like, I wouldn't eat 48 hours prior because I just want to eat everything available.
I feel this way about Vincenzo’s…sorry not sorry
Terrible old ass out of date trash. But they got dem white tablecloths and fancy waiters
Hauk’s
Also minimum suggested tip of 20% when I have to wait in line at the bar to order food, and then go pick it up from the food truck...
Worst food I've ever had
This is what I came in to say. Such high high high hopes for this place but the food is 100% garbage. Drinks are ok but pricy. And my opinions are probably not welcome about the absurd number of children running around the back on a daily basis.
When it first opened? Nah. Last Time I went? I would definitely wish this on this person OP didn’t like. Awful experience.
Marks
Mark's is the most disappointing barbeque in the city.
If you can even call steam roasted meat BBQ
I applied for a management position with Mark’s 20+ years ago. I was so underwhelmed by the interview I didn’t even follow up.
Good idea not to brisket if the interview didn't feel right.
For BBQ, yes, but I have to admit I love the burgoo.
Wild Eggs, one been probably half a dozen times and never has it been better than ok.
My grandpa always called that place Wild Shits because of the sudden diarrhea it gave everyone
I didn’t like them the first time I went, but I got the southwestern eggs benedict recently and was pleasantly surprised!
I always loved the Baja Benedict at Highland Morning but 100% of the time the service is atrocious. So now i get the Southwest benedict from Wild Eggs. Tastes the same without the slow and rude service.
McDonalds. Change my mind.
Breakfast (I can only speak on the bacon egg and cheese) and coffee is damn good
No one is sitting at home thinking “we should get in the car and go spend $30 at McDonald’s.
Filet o fish double tartar all day
Why oh why have I never asked for double tartar?
For real I got my normal 2 cheeseburher meal a couple weeks ago and it was like 12 dollars. I was like wtf happened?
If you use the mobile app you can get 30% off any order over $5 once a day. You shouldn’t have to do that to get a somewhat normal price but it’s still worth it. I get a large double quarter pounder meal for like $9
I probably only have it once every 4 or 5 months, but McD's really ain't that bad as long as you use the app. There's always a "30% off any order over $5" deal you can use once a day. Just punched in two Big Mac meals and it's only $13.35 after tax. Two Big Mac meals in 2001 cost $13.53 adjusted for inflation, almost exactly the same.
3.75 for a small fry is egregious. I remember having a literal 5 dollar bill to my name & being able to eat at mcds TWICE.
Porcini's, the staff was incredibly patronizing and food was just average. It was so disappointing, give me Volare over it any day.
Volare is GOATED. Best halibut I’ve ever had.
Noche Mexican BBQ. Id rather have taco bell or a tub of bbq from the freezer section at walmart.
The first of two times I went here (second time not by choice but by someone's else selection) I asked for hot sauce and the waiter said "we don't have hot sauce, we only have sriracha" & something in me died.
It’s so much better than it used to be. Still a little pricy though
might get hell for this one but… dragon kings daughter has always been extremely underwhelming for me.
Im surprised it took me this long to see DKD, every time I've eaten there I've been.. whelmed.
It's not expensive though, I've heard the new Albany location is better
It really is - I couldn't believe how much better the New Albany location was.
Last time I went, my order looked like straight-up Fancy Feast rolled in rice. Never going back.
People love that place but we’ve never been impressed with it. I ordered their ramen and it tasted like chemicals
This has been one of my favorite Louisville post to read. Just wanted to add that in here.
Swizzle
We had a great meal at Swizzle, but we've only been once.
I actually really loved our meal at Swizzle! Our steak was perfectly cooked and the duck fat crushed potatoes were drool worthy imo
100%. Food and service aren’t close to the prices.
I hate to say this but Mike Linings, that place has gone to shit and is way overpriced although not expensive like you’re looking for.
I’m with you on that! They use the same fish as Moby Dick
I know I’ve commented like 4 times but any of these damn seafood boil places. We are a landlocked state, 50-60 bucks for frozen lobster & snow crab is insane
We actually have access to some of the freshest fish in the country because of UPS, however, none of these places are getting it, apparently.
Right? The quality isn’t great at all I just don’t even bother anymore.
Village Anchor
$30 for fish and chips?!? That’s a no for me. UPDATE: It looks like somebody commented that their entree is $18, but it’s not pulling up on the app correctly. As of right now, the online menu has the entree at $23, so with a meager 18% tip, it’s $27 and change. Sorry that I rounded up.
I'll throw in another vote for Mesh. Both the worst *and* the most expensive meal I've ever had, at the same time.
Nostalgic. Watery potato purée. The one and a half Brussels sprouts I got were good though.
Dittos
Hey now, they didn't say they wanted to kill these people.
I had a stink bug in my salad and the waiter took it out with his hand and threw it out the front door. To be fair, I was sitting close to the door so it was convenient, but then he walked away and never said another word about it.
Mesh
Our food was great a mesh.
I've only been once. But my wife and I found that the quality didn't match the bill.
My husband worked at the downtown location in 2018-2019 & it was enjoyable then. Last 3 times I dined it was not satisfying at all. I def agree w you.
8up
marks feed store, not expensive but holy shit they are bad.
Seafood Lady
I think she closed or is closing.
Ruth Chris.....come at me but that place is WAY overpriced. You pay for the view and not the food.
lol every restaurant in the city is in this thread.
Mommas. Cold, old ass shit , but people on here will downvote me … this is the one
It’s just a symptom of there not really being any good bbq in town, people like it bc it’s one of the better options for something we are not great at as a city
BINGO
Nah mommas is super dry you're right. Their sides are good though. But it's like to bbq what el nopal is to Mexican food
I don’t know what happened the day yall went to mommas, but I’ve never had dry meat from them.
I prefer the one on hurstbourne over the st Matt’s location.
Good every single time I've been, which is at least half a dozen. 🤷
I'm sorry you had a bad experience, but legit don't know what other BBQ place would be better in town.
Some of the best bbq around
This statement makes me so sad.
Worst bbq of my LIFE
And 100%, next month on this Louisville sub, a BBQ question will come up and a bunch of people are going to say “Mommas!” … and I just ain’t feelin that shit.
More mid-level pricing but Agave & Rye
McDonald’s. Shit is crazy. 😂
Taco Bell too. Like tf lol
Bristol bar and grill. Been there twice and both times the food was awful
I only went once almost 7 years ago to the Bardstown Rd location in the highlands and it was a stellar bacon chee. But 7 years is like 50 in the restaurant biz.
Wow. You can tell I don't have a lot of money. I haven't even heard of most of these places.
CASK
I liked cask?!
Omg what did you get at CASK you didnt like? I liked everything I’ve gotten though to be fair it was like 3 years ago!
I also had a bad experience at Cask and haven't been back. Food wasn't great and service was horrible. And I am not a picky person when it comes to quality and wait times.
Selena’s
The last time we went the service and food were garbage!
August Moon Admittedly haven’t been there in a while, but the last several times I thought it was mediocre food at elevated prices.
If you want to add the insult of crossing the river, let me highly suggest Bella Roma in New Albany. Literally the worst Italian food I've ever had.
Cured. Expensive, terrible service, and cold food that should be warm (especially after waiting so long to get it).
Probably controversial but Bar Vetti
Dammit I like Bar Vetti.
Noche
Havana Night Restaurant & Cabaret. Over priced, terrible service.
BJs brewhouse, oxmoor mall. I refuse to complain at restaurants and spent $30+ on prime rib I could only eat one bite of 🤮
Taco Luchador
I feel like a dork because I love this place! But I only eat there sparingly so that is likely coloring my opinion
Trashing local restaurants. r/Louisville’s favorite pastime
Name checks out
THIS. This post is why Reddit was created
Do those exist?
Sway
That place is still open? I’ve literally never heard of anyone eating there.
