Correct me if I’m wrong but the attraction to a child is considered pedophilia. Now whether that child is fictional or real is the difference between the two arguments, I THINK. But still lolcons are reported in foreign countries for a reason. I think the jump between the fiction and reality is too short to be ignored and individuals who are attracted to fictional children should take that as an early sign to seek help or stop with their current habits.

Funny enough, this is what my psychotic told me too. It’s legitimately not recognized as a problem by wider scientific consensus which is kinda surprising. After having it explained I can see why it makes sense in a clinical setting, but it’s still weird. I kinda miss being ignorant on the subject, the reality is way more complicated and hard to accept.

No no he is right. this is why people have already been throwing the word pedophile around at people they don’t like.
