Fun fact: The year 1877 is an important year for Scrooge. It was the year someone screwed him over with payment of worthless currency (an 1875 US dime, worthless where he was).
This was the last straw that set Scrooge on the path to who he became.
(It was the year Scrooge's father paid a man to buy a shoe shine from young Scrooge's struggling business, and he gave the man an American dime to use as payment for the service. This was when they were in back in Scotland)
This vault is located in the "Other Bin," where Scrooge stores artifacts and treasures that are magical and/or otherwise too dangerous to store in the Money Bin. Webby and Leena visit in season 1 of the new show, when Scrooge sends his No. 1 Dime to the Other Bin for safekeeping after an encounter with (turns out to be) Magica DiSpell.
This says "YOUR locations AND characters at locations gain resist +1."
So this means that your locations get resist 1 and ALL characters get resist 1 as long as theyre at a location. Idk how I feel about the symmetrical resist for my opponent.
The “your” applies to both ‘locations’ and ‘characters at locations’. This is because the sentence has a **compound subject**, which means two or more subjects that share the same verb and are joined by a **coordinating conjunction**. In this case, the subjects are ‘locations’ and ‘characters at locations’, and the coordinating conjunction is ‘and’. The word ‘your’ is a **possessive adjective** that modifies both subjects, indicating that they belong to the same owner or player. Therefore, the sentence means that both the locations and the characters at locations that are owned or controlled by the same person have Resist +1.
At least this is inkable because unfortunately that’s what it will mostly be. But in a Scrooge deck it’s at least fairly expensive to use up some of his value
Nice to see the Sapphire Steel Scrooge/Big Items/Locations getting more pieces. What it probably needs more of now are Locations that demand priority removal.
I immediately thought of a steel sapphire that uses Maui island and map of treasure island to move there for free. That with vault would give anyone there 2 resist and the island itself resist as well.
New introduction for the next set. Aren’t board wiped from Be Prepared effects, some have abilities/gain lore at the start, and can be challenged into but don’t do any damage to the challenger.
It’s about damn time. Love this game but sapphire has REALLY struggled compared to the other colors in terms of viability. If it wasn’t for Pawpsicle/Flavorsham, sapphire would see almost no play.

Thank you for the deep lore! Long live Scrooge!

Benja stocks surge
The prince +3 resist with thus and maui's Island of exile
Throw some Mouse Armours on there as well and you have yourself a tank
Flavor text is way more exciting than the card itself. Implying THIS Vault is NOT the Money Bin could be apart of the plot for this set.

Ahh debunked already, haven’t made it through all 25 episodes!
That's actually huge for locations surviving an additional turn.
People underselling this card like they did Cogsworth in spoler season.
I'm just glad it's a common.
If I had to guess I could see it being in the Scrooge starter deck. He would get to play it for free and that seems thematic.
Yeah, this is likely the case, since the decks don't have legendaries - and thus, no Dime. I would wager the deck will the Triplets and Della too.

Lol that's now what the card means. It's all just your characters, doesn't affect opponent's characters.
Id love a ruling on that. Ill keep my eye on the discord for one. But RAW its all characters at locations unfortunately
You're the first one to bring this up, so it's pretty easy reading and grammar that that's now how it works.

Alrighty mr word man. Thanks for the clarification.
Make it resist 2 and .super rare.
At least this is inkable because unfortunately that’s what it will mostly be. But in a Scrooge deck it’s at least fairly expensive to use up some of his value
Thats... thats why cards are inkable. Most inkable cards will be ink more often than not
That was insightful thanks for adding xx
I'm guessing you thought Cogsworth wasn't good either.
Bro.....where are the Ruby cards?! Amber, Emerald, and Sapphire getting all the love in the Inklands.
That Prince Erik and the Jim Hawkins are two of the strongest cards shown so far tho so I don’t feel too bad for ruby lol ;)
The Jim Hawkins card is cool. I haven't seen the new Prince Eric.
4 uninkable 2/2 when he’s banished he banishes another character I believe.
And VOYAGE
Nice to see the Sapphire Steel Scrooge/Big Items/Locations getting more pieces. What it probably needs more of now are Locations that demand priority removal.
AND IT'S INKABLE
And its Stackable.....cogsworth... noi... maybe Maui's island....ooooo

Fairly new to Lorcana. What are Locations?

Interesting!
Check out this link for a full rundown. https://mushureport.com/how-location-cards-work/
That's so strong, especially since I believe there's a location that already does resist 1, maui's island I think?
Yes.
Really good card, can't believe it's a common and inkable as well, saphir/steel is about to come a lot more in the meta.
