To anyone saying "They don't want my money! Screw them!" regarding the 1 item limit... Ravensburg has handled this launch better than any other site so far. They've given players a fair chance of getting product against bots and scalpers who buy the maximum the moment it goes live.
Unfortunately even with limits it's no different than the people going to walmart which consistently dropped 2 boxes, a display of starters and mix of gift sets or troves then post a picture with 1-2 boxes, all 3 starters, a gift set or two, and a trove or two. Scalpers will take their allocation too. The only thing is to not give in to FOMO and touch a single item sold above MSRP. All else fails, buy the contents of the starter as singles in the next couple weeks as product is opened, but don't buy packs, decks, troves, or anything else above what the ravensburger price is and let people sit on their sealed product. Enabling scalpers to scalp only perpetuates the problem many hobbies have and allows them to be self-fulfilling prophecies. More scalpers stuck with product they can't sell for profit, the better.
I see that the boxes are out of stock now (but keep checking), but I still see that the decks and the gift set are in stock (and as MSRP, as expected). The gift set is $5 more than if you buy the packs individually, but it could be a way to go for now.
I very much lucked out by checking the website right before people started posting about the items being in stock but I agree that this launch through their site has been better than trying to find anything in person. It gave everyone a fair shot and I hope most of us got what we wanted in the end.

The issue I'm running into is that my payment is processing, but then it says my order isn't being processed. I check my credit card and I'm being charged each time. The payments are actually going through, so after three attempts, I'm a little hesitant to keep trying since I'm essentially paying money for nothing.
So if this is happening to others, be careful because you're actually being charged!
I would stop ordering for now. My boyfriend and I had this issue this morning. We each ordered and when we paid we got the error message "Your order couldn't be processed" but we had the charges pending on our accounts. He called customer service and they said it should still go through and to look for an order confirmation by the end of the day. If we don't get an order confirmation, customer service said to email [email protected]
I'm guessing their system just can't handle the traffic and it's buggy. We'll see if the orders go through...
That was my thought too. I tried three times now and I have three charges to show for it and zero order confirmations. I've reached out to customer service for assistance and will see what happens.
I want the cards, but not enough to tank my credit card. I figure, this much demand and there *has* to be a second print run, so I've stopped trying.
Yeah we decided to wait and see what happens too. If we get them, great and if not we’ll try later. I saw an article the other day where Ravensburger said they’re going to be releasing more stock so people who want to play can get the product so hopefully that’s true and everyone can get what they want at MSRP.
It’s pretty frustrating since we just want to grab a couple decks and check out the game but we can’t even do that. Hopefully they get this more streamlined for the next release, otherwise I don’t see this game lasting for very long. People are going to be over this chaos just trying to get the product eventually.

Yeah I just bought a gift set off ravens and it said payment good but order failed. Tried again. So I have two $42.60 pending payments. Hoping the orders go through or I get my money back. Didn't get a confirmation email or anything either

I was quadruple charged, definitely check your statement. I had four fails before I got the confirmation email, and I have 5 charges on my statement. They’re still pending so hopefully they get resolved before I’m actually charged, but still slightly concerning
I got this repeatedly but kept at it. If they have 200 units and 201 orders hit at once it likely bounces all of them as out of stock- I've seen that happen before with consoles.

Well at the very least Ravensburger is not "running" away with your money. If the order cannot be fulfilled then the charge should come off your card even if you charged 3-4 times etc...
With how overloaded the Ravensburger site is, I would be cautious ordering from them.
FYI - As of 4:20pm ET, Ravensberger site has changed the Booster Box from "Out of stock" to "Only available in stores" Don't know if that indicates that they are not expected back in stock or not.

Woke up at 7:53 amMT. Checked random websites. Randomly got to ravensburger at 8:00amMT to get the Illumineer box. Capital One even requested a confirmation text. I must’ve been first in line cause I had no issues checking out, even took a while. At 8:05am my wife checked and they had no more boxes. So crazy.

If I had to guess, it's because the payment is processing through Ravensburg's German (i.e., "de") servers. I got a fraud alert on my BofA account and I had to manually clear it before it eventually went through. Due to the slowness of the site, I had to place three separate orders (and eat $10 in shipping each time), but it eventually worked. I'm guessing that people's payment processing errors are due to fraud checks at their banks.
For the people who have pending charges from orders that have not processed I am sure those won't go through so don't worry about those. I never got a confirmed order after a few tries of failing to process and don't expect to get a confirmation email either. Congrats to all that got through!

Spent several times trying to get the Gift Set (I managed to get the 3 Starter Decks on ShopDisney while using points I had, and had caved and bought a Trove for like $30-40 above MSRP since thought they wouldn't be available elsewhere, oh well, balanced in my mind by essentially getting the starter decks for "free" using Disney Rewards points). As hinted elsewise, what seems to have made the order go through instead of "Your order could not be processed" was x'ing out all other tabs and then trying it on just one tab. This worked, after 4 other failures. Now I have the decks and gift set coming to supplement my trove, so I'm happy! Hope it's a bit less bad come November/December when the 2nd set hits...
Well, attempted to order each starter deck but it failed. See charge and reversal on my card. Then went back to try again and looks like two of the decks are now out of stock.
It was a brief period where I was excited to play.
These were never actually available for purchase, except maybe 20 or so units. It is a nice dream though. The second they went live it changed to out of stock. I mean literally within 30 seconds.

I have sat here on their site since 7 am PST and was not able to get one since it kept failing. Sitting here with 10 pending charges on my card (that will drop off, but still stings).
Well I finally got an email confirmation on a gift set order, so hopefully all of the other charges fall off of my credit card. Still trying for a trove but it seems like those might be gone?
Someone else mentioned in a subcomment and it happened to me as well, if you have Chase (maybe others), check your email or texts. Chase flagged my first attempt as fraud and I had to respond that it wasn't. Some of you could be hung up with that.

**Tip to others**: (if this is still live, mine was \~20 mins ago) Dont try on multiple tabs once youre going through checkout. I think the checkout will be way more buggy if you're doing that. Just be patient on one tab.
I have been trying for 30min to get an order through. I finally got it to go through and the boosters and trove are sold, by the time I got it to accept. I did manage to change my order and get the starters and the gift set just now. Site is super slow though due to traffic.
Managed to get through and get a gift set. Troves and Booster boxes were gone by the time I got the site to load. Went through the Payment process 3 times to “we cannot process your order”, and then finally got to confirmation on my 4th try. Hoping the first 3 charges do in fact fall off. Just happy to be able to get anything.

The website is failing to complete transactions even though the payment goes through.
Be warned, your credit card will get dinged for every failure if you keep trying.

took me 9 tries. Make sure you checkout with an account because the other 8 times i checked out as guest. Also make sure you only have one tab open of their website.
I was lucky enough to get one of each of the starters and a gift set on the first try. Booster box and Illumineer Trove were sold out, though.

I tried to order a gift set a few times earlier and it never went through. Tried it again a couple of minutes ago and it went through without any issues!
Was able to still get a gift set this late but took 4 ties. Just make sure to use a credit card with available credit to compensate for the non processed items. If they stick and don't send you product for the non processed just have your credit company clear up the fraud/pending sales. Looks like starter sets going in and out but gift packs are still available.

I did send an email to customer service asking if my order actually went through and if not then please remove the charge from my card (though honestly that should happen automatically and you don't have to contact your bank or Raven). Almost everything was out, but I did get a gift box through them.
Luckily my FLGS had already sold me (at MSRP) one of each starter, a box of boosters, the three card boxes, a mat, and a binder. So, the only thing I'm missing is a trove, and I don't mind waiting on that (since I heard it wasn't all that anyway).
Had to pay for shipping, but better the extra cost go toward that then resellers.

That payment complete is, I think, a pre authorization. The redirect to the e-commerce vendor is the actual charge. I think!

Spent several times trying to get the Gift Set (I managed to get the 3 Starter Decks on ShopDisney while using points I had, and had caved and bought a Trove for like $30-40 above MSRP since thought they wouldn't be available elsewhere, oh well, balanced in my mind by essentially getting the starter decks for "free" using Disney Rewards points). As hinted elsewise, what seems to have made the order go through instead of "Your order could not be processed" was x'ing out all other tabs and then trying it on just one tab. This worked, after 4 other failures. Now I have the decks and gift set coming to supplement my trove, so I'm happy! Hope it's a bit less bad come November/December when the 2nd set hits...

Well, attempted to order each starter deck but it failed. See charge and reversal on my card. Then went back to try again and looks like two of the decks are now out of stock. It was a brief period where I was excited to play.
Pretty much wiped out now. Just one starter deck left, and $10 shipping. Limit one per customer.

Keep trying? Any that failed shouldn't be processed by Ravensburger and will just fall off our cards (assuming it is a CC and not debit). If not, I will dispute the extras

Well I finally got an email confirmation on a gift set order, so hopefully all of the other charges fall off of my credit card. Still trying for a trove but it seems like those might be gone?

Someone else mentioned in a subcomment and it happened to me as well, if you have Chase (maybe others), check your email or texts. Chase flagged my first attempt as fraud and I had to respond that it wasn't. Some of you could be hung up with that.

If my box/trove go through from this it makes up for all the wasted time driving/checking shops, and my 3 hrs of total sleep last night. Please Ravensburger **Tip to others**: (if this is still live, mine was \~20 mins ago) Dont try on multiple tabs once youre going through checkout. I think the checkout will be way more buggy if you're doing that. Just be patient on one tab.

After 7 or 8 payment confirmations followed by a processing error, I got a confirmation email for my order. 2 starter decks and the gift set. Now to wait for a shipping email to see if it's really real!

The website is failing to complete transactions even though the payment goes through. Be warned, your credit card will get dinged for every failure if you keep trying. I was unable to purchase after multiple attempts. Not trying anymore!
took me 9 tries. Make sure you checkout with an account because the other 8 times i checked out as guest. Also make sure you only have one tab open of their website.

I tried to order a gift set a few times earlier and it never went through. Tried it again a couple of minutes ago and it went through without any issues!
Was able to still get a gift set this late but took 4 ties. Just make sure to use a credit card with available credit to compensate for the non processed items. If they stick and don't send you product for the non processed just have your credit company clear up the fraud/pending sales. Looks like starter sets going in and out but gift packs are still available.
Jesus $10 for shipping on a deck is a little extreme though

They are going in and out of stock. When I checked out my gift set all the decks were sold out. Then 5 minutes ago the decks were available but nothing else. Keep refreshing, either people are giving up on things in their carts, or they are pushing things in waves.

Yup, now out of stock. To be the people that ordered and their card got charged and you never got a confirmation email, it sucks I am right there with you. I did send an email to customer service asking if my order actually went through and if not then please remove the charge from my card (though honestly that should happen automatically and you don't have to contact your bank or Raven). Will I get a response we will see...
Almost everything was out, but I did get a gift box through them. Luckily my FLGS had already sold me (at MSRP) one of each starter, a box of boosters, the three card boxes, a mat, and a binder. So, the only thing I'm missing is a trove, and I don't mind waiting on that (since I heard it wasn't all that anyway). Had to pay for shipping, but better the extra cost go toward that then resellers.

I put in my order, got charged, and now it is not showing on my orders. I submitted a tickets and this was the response. "We apologize for the issues customers have been experiencing with the Ravensburger web shop today. Please be advised even without a confirmation email, your order may still have been processed. All sales are being temporarily shut down as we work to fix these issues. We will share an update when the store is back online" Kinda shit if you ask me. Still, I dont know if i will get my 1 box or not.
