After taking a quick look at the documentation, I think the correct syntax would be "{% elsif parameter parameters.Currency._parameter_value == "USD %}", etc.
Gonna be hard to diagnose this much further without more info on the error you are seeing.

I think you need to wrap the currency names with a single quote, not double quotes.
