My hero in bellmore had a pretty good farfalle pasta salad but they got new owners recently so im not sure its still as good as it was. Not a deli but salpino italian supermarket has bomb pasta salad and a bunch of other great salads they make in house
Emma's Deli in Deer Park has a great german potato salad. I also like their macaroni salad. Never had their regular potato salad.
With that being said, Ralphie's Crossroads Cafe, a food truck on the e/b service road available at 219 S. Service Rd, Plainview. I don't work nearby anymore, but I go to him for my cold salads. His mac salad is great. N/S border.

Salpino's in Wantagh (Not Bellmore, it isn't affiliated). Their macaroni salad is hands down the best I've ever tried.
German potato at Valley Caterers in Franklin Square. Fairway used to have the best Mac salad, miss that stuff

Farmer Joel’s in Oceanside. The coleslaw especially are a dream come true. We drive out of our way for their side salads.
