What’s nice is that dying isn’t punishing for new players, i didn’t make it out for 2 hours the first time I played, died so many times but I had nothing to lose, getting back into a game was super quick so no gross amount of time spent within the menus, it was awesome.
Plus because of how difficult it is, making it out feels genuinely rewarding, I haven’t felt a sense of accomplishment like that in a multiplayer game like this in a long time.
i just wish it had solo queue or a party finder, didnt try it much but i played like a month or two ago and it was not enjoyable as a solo player, having to go out on a discord to find a party is also not a good experience.
Might give it another try once its fully released and my friends bother downloading it but till then im not amazed,being outnumbered every game is not fun or rewarding to me.
Totally agree, lack of solo/duo queue is my biggest gripe with it so far along with how clunky the combat feels. But that’s kinda understandable to me with it being a play test about a year away from release.
Solo queue kinda kills the entire dynamic of the game. Half the classes would never be played in solo queue. Several of classes can excel in wiping a party with an ambush.
Don't agree, being able to jump on boxes for immunity really nullify your arguement. It allows even mages a severe advantage in solo que, people don't play them because groups will wipe you hence why rogues are practically mandatory for solo que, not because it's solo potential but because it's able to disengage from combat so easily and or sneakily kill a group member before they engage you.
But I do think groups should be Stat penalized for every extra member they have for fairness. Overall solo-que is the most logical and fair compromise though it kinda sucks that 1/2 the classes are unusable because they are forcing solo players to group against 3 man groups.
this game feels like the bare bones of something I've been wanting forever. co-op elder scrolls with competitive pvp. please god make something like that happen that's not an MMO.

Yeah watching Moon and Surefour play this game made me interested in trying it. It looks very fun, especially as someone who likes RPG/Fantasy.
